Pinterest drove more traffic to websites than LinkedIn, Google+, Reddit and YouTube combined in January 2012. It allows users to build boards to showcase authority and thought leadership through quality content curation. Decision makers are becoming more visually accustomed to communication, preferring visual content over text-heavy posts. Pinterest also enables users to discover what others share and like in order to identify influencers for products. It integrates with websites, Twitter and Facebook for cross-promotion. Given its presence on many social networks already, the document recommends adding Pinterest as well.
The Magic of Link Building was a @semrush talk with @_nitmanJudith Lewis
From the live #SEMRush event my presentation about link building. This covers the types of things to look for and think about.
The session itself included a Q&A with Craig Campbell and Ross Tavendale and contains additional information. If you want to see the whole session, use this URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpChn0fyAFU
Always remember that you should be reaching out to relevant sites with visitors likely to click on the link and convert. NEVER place links to try and manipulate rankings because if they don't work, you've wasted time. Placing links likely to send traffic means that no matter what happens to rankings, you make sales.
You've heard of Schema, structured data, rich results, semantic, so on, and so on. It can be overwhelming if you're new to it, and it can be a lot to handle if you're not new to it. The webinar dove into Schema markup essentials and we discussed the most important things you need to know to successfully implement structured data on your website. If you'd like more than just the slides, pop on over to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RORK-d4Icko and you can watch the whole event!
I mention the Projects section of SEMRush during the webinar - I am a SEMRush influencer but I do use it all the time regardless of that status.

Why would i outsource social media marketing?Open Access BPO
Social networking sites have changed the way we communicate online, and it's revolutionized the way companies do business. Today, marketing has moved away from traditional advertising and word-of-mouth tactics to strategies that aim to engage deeply with the target demographic.
With millions of brands using social media as a potent tool for online marketing, you'll need to develop truly immersive tactics to attract people into your brand's walled garden and keep them happy and loyal.
Sure you can build a social media marketing team within your company to implement those strategies, but it can be quite expensive…or you can outsource your digital marketing needs to social media experts.
Outsourcing can minimize the costs of running a brand's campaign online, and provide the talented experts to manage your brand's marketing online. All these can help you cultivate a positive relationship with your customers, and give your brand a competitive edge.
Employee-powered Content Marketing for EnterprisesMeddle
Content marketing is priority #1 for marketers, but it's hard to scale and remain authentic. Meddle solves this by turning Employees and Subject Matter Experts - who are not marketers - into publishers, and using their social networks for distribution and SEO.
It is no secret that employees are more credible and authentic than marketers - and can can vastly outperform traditional marketing efforts in both volume, reach, and effectiveness - as evidenced by research from IBM and Edelman's Trust barometer. However, getting these trusted individuals to create content is a challenge. They are not marketers or professional communicators - nor do they have the time or skills to take on a second job.
Key to Meddle is our curation engine which turns content employees already share to their social networks into curated, branded collections that showcase these employees' skills and insights. These collections help build your brand, SEO, and generate leads for your business.

"Impact of front-end architecture on development cost", Viktor TurskyiFwdays
I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.
Let's dive deeper into the world of ODC! Ricardo Alves (OutSystems) will join us to tell all about the new Data Fabric. After that, Sezen de Bruijn (OutSystems) will get into the details on how to best design a sturdy architecture within ODC.
Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.
