Yes
No
I asked ‘Do you think the film trailer is up to professional standards?’ this shows
that 77.78% of the audience said yes and 22.22% said no. This is a positive outcome
as over half of the audience agree my project is up to professional standards.
No - Quality of the
shots
No - More emotion
needed with the
script
Yes - Good use of title
cards
Yes - Good use of
music and sound fx
Yes - Good Editing
I asked the audience ‘Why / why not?’ they thought my project was up to
professional standards. I picked out the 4 most popular reasons (both for yes
and no). I do agree with these reasons and will take the criticism on board.
Good
Could be better
Bad
For my third question I then asked ‘What do you think about the quality of the
shots?’ 44.44% of the audience said good, 55.56% said could be better but 0% said
bad. I agree that the quality of the shots could be better and I’m not surprised that
over half of the audience thought so too.
No - The lighting
No - A bit blurry
Yes - Good
exposure and
framing
Yes - Helped build
suspense
I then asked the audience ‘Why?’ just like question 2 I chose the 4 most popular
reasons as to why the audience said either yes or no to the previous question. I
do think that these are valid reasons to why the quality of the clips were not the
best.
Good
Could be better
Bad
For the fifth question I asked ‘What do you think about the story line?’
55.56% of the audience said good, 33.33% said could be better, 11.11% said
bad. These results show that over half of the audience did enjoy the story
line so I think it is quite a positive out come.
No - Needed more
emotion
No - Was a bit boring
Yes - Intriguing
Yes - Format well
used
I then asked ‘Why?’ they chose the answer on the previous question, just like
questions 2 and 4 I chose the most popular reasons as to why. I do agree with
all the feedback and agree that there could be a lot more emotion put in to it.
Good
Could be better
Bad
I asked the audience ‘What did you think of the title credits?’ 88.89% said
good, 11.11% could be better, 0% said bad. I am pleased with the criticism on
this part of the project as I think this is the strongest part of the trailer.
Yes
No
I then asked ‘Does this trailer make you want to watch the film?’ 66.67% said yes
and only 33.33% said no. Again, this is another positive outcome as over half of
the audience agreed they would watch the film after watching the trailer.

For the final question I asked the audience to rate the project as a whole, 1 being the lowest
and 10 being the highest. 11.11% of the audience rated 4, 11.11% rated 6, 33.33% rated 7,
33.33% rated 8 and 11.11% rated 10. This shows the majority of he audience agree my
project is 7-8/10. I do totally agree with this feedback as there are quite a few
improvements that could have been made.
Overall I do think that I could have done better and will take the criticism on board in the
future.
