3. What did you enjoy about the trailer?
• We are really pleased that one of the main aspects of the trailer has been chosen as
something that our target audience really enjoy and something that they enjoy the most.
This is of huge importance because this means that the audience understand why we have
edited the trailer in the way we have.This took most of the planning time that we spent on
the whole project.This is also good because the editing aspect puts across the main story of
the trailer and allows the audience to understand what is going on with ease.
• An especially pleasing aspect that was chosen by our target audience as something that
they enjoy the most was the Sound and Music which is pleasing for me because I had taken
full responsibility for this and as this has been seen as a professional sounding track I am
pleased that the audience have thoroughly enjoyed this.

4. Which parts of the trailer, if any, scared you?
• Another pleasing aspect that was said to have been something of the trailer that
scared the audience was the music. I am pleased that the audience have chosen
this as something that would scare them because I worked hard on trying to get
the horror and thriller feeling within the music to make the trailer better then it
would be without it.
• Another aspect of the trailer that the audience had chosen as something that
scared them was the main character Rose.This is good and I am glad that they
have chosen this as something that would scare them because my group and I tried
hard to make the make-up and costume as scary as possible to get the horror and
thriller aspect across.

5. Explain your favorite part of the trailer?
• A large amount of our target audience chose the ending as their favorite part of the
trailer due to the jump scare that was made very well and we are glad that this has
been chosen as their favorite part because we planned for this to happen from the
very start of the production.
• Another part that was classed as their favorite part of the trailer was the build up to
the action and the tension that they felt throughout the trailer from the beginning
to the end. My group and I are glad this has been accounted for because this was a
large part of the planning and was very successful.

• Following the scores that the 4 aspects that we asked about got, we received 1, 3 star. 7, 4
stars and 7 5 stars for the sound, this making my group and I believe that we completed the
sound very successfully.
• We then asked about the camera shot and we received 4, 3 stars, 6, 4 stars and 5, 5 stars.
This also made my group and I think that we executed this aspect well.
• We then asked about the location and we received 5, 3 stars, 4, 4 stars and 2, 5 stars.This
made my group and I think that we did a good job on this as we did quite well.
• Finally we asked about the characters and we received, 3, 3 stars, 9, 4 stars and 2, 5 stars
and this made my group and I believe that we planned and executed this quite well.

7. Do you notice any similarities to professional
horror trailers?
• A large amount of our target audience said that the music was very similar
to a professional horror trailer and I am especially pleased about this
because I took full responsibility of this and to make it sound professional
what the main plan.
• A large number also said that the font that we used was also similar to
professional horror trailers

8. Which conventions of the horror genre can you
identify and how effective do you think they are?
• A large number of our target audience identified the convention of the
haunted house and this is good as this was a large part of the planning that
my group and I feel as very important.
• Another convention that was identified was the use of the music. I am very
glad that this has been chosen by our target audience due to myself taking
the responsibilities of the music.

9. Overall rating?
• When asking our audience for the overall rating of the trailer out of 5 stars,
we had a response of 8 votes for 4 stars and then a very close vote of 7 for
the 5 star rating. My group and I are extremely proud of the results from the
feedback that we received from our target audience.
