Photoshop was a key tool used to edit images for a poster and digipak project. The author cropped backgrounds, adjusted contrast and lighting, brightened areas using curves, and changed saturation to make pictures warmer and clearer. As a result of Photoshop editing, images taken with an iPhone camera looked as professional as those from a dedicated camera. Previous experience with Photoshop for a music magazine helped effectively apply those skills to this media project.

2. Photoshop has been a key tool for me when creating my poster
and digipak, as it has helped to make my images look for more
stand-out and professional. I used it to crop out backgrounds,
edit the contrast, change the lighting to remove glare or make
pictures brighter and clearer, change the curves of the lighting to
brighten certain areas of photos, and change the saturation to
make pictures look warmer.

3. • I used an IPhone camera to take my pictures but
because of the editing I did on Photoshop the images
look as clear and crisp as what a professional camera
would of produced. Furthermore, I was able to draw
on my knowledge and experience of Photoshop that I
learnt when I created my music magazine at AS to
help me use Photoshop effectively for my media
products now.
