1. Photos

22. All together I have 108 photographs and I will not be able to use all of them. I am
going to categorize some of them which will not be suitable for my product and
why I am not using them. Also I am going to have a suitable category of the photo I
think are the best for my magazine and these will be the photos I will most likely
use for my website, billboard and magazine.

24. The examples I have chosen are not suitable for my magazine, website or billboard for different reasons.
Here is a list of why they are unsuitable:
1. In some of these pictures you can’t see the clothing well which can be due to the lighting or models
blocking each other and this would look unprofessional because I am advertising fashion and the
reader will want to see what the clothes look like.
2. In some of the images the models look distracted as two are talking with one another and one model
is looking on her pone. This may distract the reader and put them off reading the magazine.
3. Some of the facial expressions don’t fit well, although I wanted to try a couple of fun and silly photos
some of them didn't work so well because it can also distract the reader form looking at the models
clothing.
4. Some of the images have and lighting which makes the images dark and hard to see.
5. Some images are blurry because they are out of focus and if I put blurry images on my magazine it
would look unprofessional and not like a magazine at all because images are always clear in
magazines.

26. I feel compared to the not suitable image these images are more professional with the poses and
facial expressions. I feel like I can get a variety of different camera shots of the models to show the
clothing clearly. The models aren’t distracted in these images so it won’t distract the reader. In most
of these images the models are looking directly at the camera which may draw the reader further
into the magazine. I really like the images of the park especially because it adds a lot of vibrant
autumn colours which fits perfectly with the theme of my magazine.
Although it ay be argued that a selfie is not suitable for a magazine I want to include this into my
magazine because many teenagers today have the fascination of taking selfies on their smartphones
and posting them on social media. As my target audience is from 16-19 years old I feel like they will
find he image relatable to them.
