Photography is the process of recording light or electromagnetic radiation to create images. A camera typically uses a lens to focus light onto light-sensitive film or an electronic sensor. On film, an invisible latent image is created that is later developed into a visible image. There are two main types of photography - positive, where the image colors match the scene, and negative, where the darkest areas appear lightest. A darkroom is a room made dark for processing photographic materials, like film and paper. It contains equipment like enlargers to project negatives onto photo paper to create prints.
