1. First Photo: There are four boys in the picture who are riding their bicycles on a dirt road. They appear
to be hailing Hitler with their arms straight out. The photographer may have been trying to convey that
Hitler had all kind of supporters including children. I do not find any purpose in this photo for history
besides showing that Hitler had all kinds of people supporting him. A question I have about this picture
is are the boys a part of Hitler's army? A caption for this picture could be Hitler's Fol lowers. To find more

Second Photo: The photo consists of U.S. soldiers in the Vietnam War. The men are hanging out
together on their down time during the middle of the war. I believe the photographer was trying to
convey that even though there is a war happening, happiness can still thrive with friends. This
photograph serves the purpose of race of people not mattering anymore and war brings people
together to fight for a similar cause. A question I have about this picture is where exactly are they and
why are some men shirtless? A caption for this photo could be Light Within A Dark Time. To find more
information on the image would be to search what did U.S. soldiers do on their down time during the
Vietnam War which would explain what the men were doing in the photo and other activities they did
during this time.
Third Photo: This photo is displaying men pouring alcohol out of jugs to represent Prohibition. They are
taking part in Prohibition during the 1920s I believe. The photographer may have been trying to convey
how serious Prohibition was taken during this period. The importance of this photo is that Prohibition
was not taken lightly. Alcohol was banned and to make sure that it was bootlegged, they poured it on
the streets. Questions I have about this photo is why are all the other men watching them pour the
alcohol out and why are there no women? A caption for this picture could be Bonding Over Prohibition.
