It is to stop children from eating meat as they say it is like letting them smoke. The mood it creates is anger as they feel that they are putting their children at risk by letting them eat meat. The text supports this as it says “like smoking…..meats is linked to cancer”. Cancer is a very serious topic and is used to create fear in the audience. Context: it was set up by PeTA which is a pro vegan organisation. Message: the message is that children shouldn’t eat meat and that they should be vegan. Target audience: the target audience are parents as they are saying that letting you children eat meat can lead to cancer.
