The Public Employment Service Office or
PESO is a non-fee charging multi-
employment service facility or entity
established or accredited pursuant to
Republic Act No. 8759 otherwise known as
the PESO Act of 1999.

track the meeting of jobseekers and
employers/overseas recruitment agencies in one
venue at a specific date to reduce cost, time and
effort particularly on the part of the applicants.

conducted by a recruitment agency
outside the registered office or address
stated in the license of an agency or its
acknowledged additional office(s). SRAs
are conducted only at the PESO and
DOLE offices.
18. The program provides employment to
deserving students and out-of-school youths
coming from less fortunate families during
summer and/or Christmas vacations as
provided for under Republic Act No. 7323
and its implementing rules, to enable them
to pursue their education.
19. Coverage:
• At least 15 years of age but not more than 25 years
old
• Students/Out-of-School Youth (OSY)
• Average passing grade during the last school
year/term attended
• Combined net income after tax of parents, including
his/her own income, if any, must not exceed the
latest annual regional poverty threshold level for a
family of six (6) as determined and provided by the
National Economic and Development Authority
(NEDA)
