20. Sampah Plastik
Jenis plastik yang ditemui di dalam
sampah perkotaan antara lain Light
Density Poly Ethylene (LDPE), PP (Poly
Propilene), High Density Poly Ethylene
(HDPE), Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC),
Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET),
Styrofoam, dan lain-lain.
Komposisi terbanyak adalah jenis PP
dan HDPE.
21. Sampah Plastik
Studi yang dilakukan oleh Direktorat
Jenderal Pengendalian Pencemaran
dan Kerusakan Lingkungan (PPKL)
KLHK menunjukkan bahwa jenis
sampah yang banyak ditemukan di
perairan laut di Indonesia berupa plastik
(42%), kayu (24%), dan karet (13%).
