1. Persuasive Sample Essays
Crafting a persuasive sample essay can be quite challenging, requiring a delicate balance of
rhetoric, evidence, and persuasive techniques. Firstly, one must thoroughly understand the topic
at hand, conducting extensive research to gather relevant information and supporting evidence.
Then comes the task of structuring the essay effectively, organizing arguments in a coherent
manner to sway the reader's opinion.
The difficulty intensifies when considering the need to anticipate and address potential
counterarguments. A persuasive essay must not only present compelling points but also
preemptively refute opposing viewpoints to strengthen its overall persuasiveness. This demands
meticulous attention to detail and a keen understanding of the target audience's beliefs and
biases.
Moreover, crafting engaging prose that captivates the reader's attention from start to finish adds
another layer of complexity. Effective persuasion often hinges on the writer's ability to evoke
emotion, employ rhetorical devices, and employ persuasive language effectively.
Furthermore, ensuring the essay adheres to academic standards and conventions adds another
dimension of difficulty. This includes proper citation of sources, maintaining a formal tone, and
adhering to formatting guidelines.
In summary, writing a persuasive sample essay is no easy feat; it requires extensive research,
strategic planning, and adept execution of persuasive techniques. However, the end result can be
immensely rewarding, as a well-crafted persuasive essay has the power to sway opinions and
inspire action.

2. Nuclear Power Is The Best Efficient Power Production
Method
Introduction:
Over the years there has been controversy over whether nuclear power is the most
efficient power production method in the world for the future. As global warming
is increasing, the amount of carbon dioxide emitted into the air is also increasing,
and a global concern is arising about whether the current power production methods
using fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas are long term, as these power production
methods are seen as temporary because these recourses are becoming abundant. The
most widely thought concern of the population is how long the systems we are
currently are going to last before the fuel for power runs out. There have been
successful attempts to use ecological systems such as hydropower, wind energy,...

Similarly, there are ethnic concerns about the production of atomic bombs, as these
are a form of fission but are an uncontrolled chain reaction unlike the controlled chain
reaction of fission that provides energy in nuclear reactors.
Nuclear energy allows one to produce energy without increasing the atmospheric
carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gases and does not stimulate global warming.
There are two ways that this can be achieved, either through nuclear fission or through
nuclear fusion. Fission is known as the splitting of large nuclei such as Uranium
235, resulting in a loss of mass and hence a release in energy in the form of heat.
This energy is used to produce steam, making a turbine spin, and then providing the
power for electricity to be produced. It is currently one of the strongest substitutes for
power production methods using fossil fuels as nuclear fuels could potentially last
for about 2000 years.
Nuclear fusion, or the fusing together of light nuclei to form larger ones can create
another form of nuclear energy. Essentially, it is the exact reaction that occurs in the
sun, as the sun s heat is created by the bombardment of hydrogen atoms creating
helium and a neutron during which energy is
3. The Influences Of Jazz During The Harlem Renaissance
The influence Jazz has had over the decades speaks volumes about its character. In
this context, character is describing the quality of a feeling and also the different
styles created in Jazz. These feelings given by Jazz, uplifted Americans in times of
need and Jazz in a way was the soundtrack for the twenties. The free spirited age of
the roaring twenties helped build a platform in which liberal movements would
continue to soar on. The politics of an era influences not only the people but also
the social atmosphere these people experience their everyday lives in. Through an
analysis of the Harlem Renaissance, the Depression, and World War II, I will discuss
the influence politics has had on the production of Jazzand also how politics shapes...

The second Ku Klux Klan became very popular being supported by millions of
Americans across the nation. The cultural war happening in the America played a
large role in the creation and production of Jazz. Although the culture industry
might have promoted aesthetic egalitarianism, it did not necessarily treat black
workers fairly (Porter, 42). The managers, agents, and record companies were all
were known for actively discriminating against black bands. Despite all the
contributions made by African American musicians, they were still treated inferior.
Everything during the age of racism was seen through a racial lense that actively
created more restrictions but was also actively being battled through the art of Jazz.
A lot of things occurred during the twenties, including many women s rights
movements that included gaining the right to vote. Cultural empowerment
movements gained a lot of support because people were interested in promoting a
sexualized experience that was represented in Jazz and acted out by women. Many
black female writers during time period decided to put their thoughts to paper and
established a variety of alternative possibilities for the fictional representation of
the black female experience (Carby, 472). This allowed these black female writers to
have a handle on how their culture was being represented. Women also played a
large role in Jazz as Blues singers. Jazz, was a predominantly male
4. The Emigration Of The United States
There are many reasons as to why people from other countries decide to make a
journey to America. Some immigrants flee to the united states in an attempt to
escape persecution, find economic prosperity, and to seek a new life that is filled
with opportunities that would have been virtually impossible in their homeland.
Others are escaping oppressive regimes or natural disasters that have ravaged their
country. America s reputation for being the land of opportunity filled with endless
land just waiting to be claimed, plentiful jobs, and tolerance for all peoples has made
the country a beacon for the huddled masses . Throughout America s history
immigrants have poured in from nations all over the world, but the most memorable

These Irish immigrants faced a two month trip to America, where conditions on the
ship were harsh, food was scarce, and death and illness were plenty. Once the Irish
immigrants arrived in America, they were taken to Ellis Island for processing before
they could begin their new lives in the United States. American life turned out to be
not as ideal as the Irish immigrants expected. Irish Immigrants had to face a great
deal of discrimination in their new homes. One reason for the harsh treatment of
the Irish was religion. Many Protestants and other Americans felt distrustful of the
the catholic religion; therefore the Irish were not to be trusted. Due to the clash of
the Protestants and the Irish Catholics, much violence ensued which resulted in the
attack of Irish Immigrants and their places of worship. Another issue that caused
the ill treatment of the Irish was the fact that Americans considered the Irish to be
a servant class . Having come to the United States with little to no money, no land,
and very few skills, many of the Irish had to become indentured servants. Those
who had jobs that didn t require servitude where jobs that required hard labor and
barely anybody wanted, and the Irish were paid way below the average salary. In
1852, New York railroad contractors posted listings of hire which promised good
pay, and when mostly Irish applied they lowered the average salary to around fifty
cents a day for ten hour
5. Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Directors In Mcdonough
According to Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in McDonough, the most common
pre funeral services are viewings, wakes, and visitations.
Below, their staff explain the purpose and distinct characteristics of each of these pre
funeral services.
Viewing: Viewings allow friends and familyto gather together and pay tribute to the
deceased. They are usually held at a funeral home or place of worship. The body will
be present, and the family may choose to have an open or closed casket. Visitations
are traditionally held the evening before the funeral, although some families decide to
hold them a few days earlier.
Wake: People often refer to viewings and wakes interchangeably; however, there are
subtle differences between the two services. While

Hi Zoe, I hope you re well, it was great to visit your offices this week and learn
about Platts in much greater detail. In order to move forward I just wanted to
provide you with a summary of our findings and the subsequent actions which now
need to take place. Just a reminder of the objective we set out to achieve this week:
For Team Gilroy to immerse itself in Platts business over 2 days, with the purpose of
creating the messaging and plans for 3 4 campaigns. To nurture positive perceptions
of Platts throughout the market, by growing awareness, understanding and trust
amongst key stakeholders, with the ultimate purpose of delivering commercial

provide customers with in depth insights into the market. Value Helping customers
understand that even though Platts are the most expensive supplier in the market,
they are gaining a lot of valuable materials for their money. Achieve this through
customer testimonials and interviews. Analytics To launch and communicate the
additional services of analytical information. Letting the customer know that Platts
are more than just a data provider, and can act as more of a partnership. This can be
gained through relationship management strategies. It was agreed that analytics
needed to be a standalone campaign. Whereas, strengthening and defending the core
could be communicated in several different approached, which is where experience,
expertise and values were formed. It was widely agreed that the aim of
communicating the need for transparency in the market, could be achieved within
each of these four campaigns, depending on the suitability for each commodity.

Abstract
James Allen proves that it is possible to pack dozens of valuable nuggets in a small
package. The language is often lofty and dated, which in other works detracts from
the material. In this case it reads like the writings of a wise old scholar, enhancing the
content and its weight.
More than just an essay on positive thinking, Allen walks the reader through
applications for personal growth, putting thought into action, using personal gifts to
achieve right purposes, persevering to develop character, sacrificing and putting ...

His little volume , as he called it, has been translated into five major languages,
inspiring millions of readers to recognize that man s visions can become reality,
simply through the power of thought.
The book is now in the public domain within the United States and most other
countries. It was released the 1st of October 2003 as a Project Gutenberg eText
edition.
The book opens with the statement:
Mind is the Master power that moulds and makes,
And Man is Mind, and evermore he takes
The tool of Thought, and, shaping what he wills,
Brings forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills:В—
He thinks in secret, and it comes to pass:

James Allen s books illustrates the power of thought to have immense capabilities.
Although he never achieved great fame or wealth, his works continue to influence

book that best embodied his thought, he somehow failed to recognize its value. His

9. Empowering Girls
Empowering girls Empowering the world
Dr. Martin Luther King once claimed, No one is free until we are all free. This idea
sounds very simple, but it lays a profound message to many different events and
issues that are happening around us, including big challenges of the world such as
racial and ethnic discrimination. However, there is a sub issue of those challenges that
we rarely think of it as discrimination: girls education. By investing in a good
education for girls all over the world teaching them how to empower themselves we
are eliminating discrimination and empowering the world.
A report from The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization
(UNESCO) in October 2013 shows appalling statistics about women around the
world. There are 1.8 billion young people in the world; approximately half of them
900 million are adolescent girls and young women, but 62 million girls are not in
school. As a result, they lack the basic skills for work; two thirds of the 774 million
illiterate people in the world are female (Education). This fact will have lifelong
effects. Girls will face limited opportunities and choices in the job market. Their
knowledge of personal health is inadequate and they will be subjected to serious
health risks. They don t know about their basic rights, so their views and concerns are
often unheard. These three effects are enough to substantiate that girls are
discriminated against.
Therefore, if education is the key to

enjoyed listening to this video case. I had no idea what Chick Fil A came from
and why it is so good. The only time I have come across the restaurant is when I am
shopping. I tend not to eat when I shop so my experience with this company is
very minimal. It is very good from what I remember. I am a big foodie and love
trying new things. It is very refreshing to see a restaurant start off the way it did

other retailers consider closing on Sunday? Why? Why not? I do think other
retailers should consider it. I know there a lot of people that shop or go out to eat

about the employees behind the counter? They may have other days off during the

Poverty Alleviation, Economic Development and the World Trade Organization
According to U nited Nations Conference on Trade and Development(2004),
international trade can play a positive and important role in reducing poverty in
developing countires. Therefore, poverty alleviation has strong correlation with
economic development and international trade.Even though other political, social and
cultural problems arethe causes of poverty, it is believed that the various causes are
so complicated that no simple soultion is universially applicable. Also, although there
were many strategies and international aid for developing countries, the majority of
countries thar were underdeveloped fifty years ago still remain poor. (Lee,2006) Thus,

The developing countries still faced problems such as lack of access to largely closed
Western markets for developing countries products ; reduced commitment to making
development and reform agriculture central components of the Doha agenda and
extension of the trading regime into protecting intellectual property rights as well as
liberalizing trade in services. Also, The agenda of the WTO continues to ignore
labour, health and environmental standards and the issue of food security. Thus, the
developed countries dominated the decision making process and controlled the

as they have limited financial resources to provide large subsidies. On the other
hand, the developed countries continued to subsidize their exports and heavily and
allow heavy tariff on the imports.Dumping from developed countries always occurred

magical powers too. He could find crime for Annabel, and every time he would find
crime, Annabel would give him a fish cake.

13. Financial Accounting Uses The Accrual Concept
Revenue received in advance
Financial accounting uses the accrual concept whereby the results of transactions are
recorded when or as they occur instead of only when cash is received or paid. On the
other hand, the taxation authorities taxes entities on the earliest of accrual or receipt.
The difference in the accounting and tax treatments of different transactions may
therefore result in an entity s profit/loss before taxation for a period (or year of
assessment) being different from the entity s taxable income/loss for that period (or
year of assessment).
Transnet is a South African resident company as it was incorporated in the Republic
of South Africa (page 159 of the Transnet Annual Financial Statements 2015 Volume
2) and will therefore be taxed on its world wide income.
For an amount to constitute gross income it needs to meet the requirements or
elements of the gross income definition as defined in section 1 of the Income TaxAct
58 of 1962 (the Act). In the case of any South African resident, gross income is the
total amount in cash or otherwise received by or accrued to or in favour of such
resident during the year or period of assessment excluding receipts and accruals of a
capital nature (Stiglingh, M; et al. 2016).
The words received by and accrued to are not defined in the Act, reference to the
relevant case law is therefore necessary (Stiglingh, M; et al. 2016). For an amount to
accrue to a taxpayer, the taxpayer has to be entitled to receive payment of
14. Compare And Contrast The South And South
The north and the south emerged as two distinct reasons because they had various
differences. The south and north both had their own ways of having their economy
and the geograph was in favor for the south while the north had poor soil. These
differences include the geography, slavery, and the economy.
The South s geography had nice fertile area so they could farm in the mainly cotton
and many other crops. With the nice fertile area they could grow many crops. The
south s main crop is cotton and cotton is the most valuable crop in the southern states.
In the text it states Both parts of the South were still agricultural, but the Upper South
still produced tobacco, hemp, wheat, and vegetables. The Deep South was committed
to cotton and, in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Slavery is almost everything to the south because they used them for farming.
Slaves were used in farming and to mostly pick cotton and they could clean the
owner s house and do other jobs. The way slaves were beneficial to the south was
that the owners did not have to pay the slaves to work and if they did not they
would be whipped for not work hard enough or fast enough. Although most of the
south thought that slavery was everything to them, there are some slaves owners
who are nice and take care of the slaves and later free most of their slaves if they
have worked long enough. In the text it states Some enslaved people worked in the
house, cleaning, cooking, doing laundry, sewing, and serving meals. They were
called domestic slaves. Other enslaved people were trained as blacksmiths,
carpenters, shoemakers, or weavers. this that the slaves did not only do farming
but other thing as house cleaners and others. However the north opposed slavery
and they wanted to abolish it. So instead they would have factories because of the
soil and because of why they did not like slavery. Also the north made slavery
illegal and it was a good thing, but slavery did not really end until the civil war. In
the text it states The demand for cotton had grown steadily with the development of
the textile industries of New England and Europe. this shows that they did not have
any slaves in the factories in the
15. The Usefulness Of Viral Vectors
The Usefulness of Viral Vectors in Treating Dravet Syndrome
Voltage gated sodium channels initiate the development action potentials in neurons;
mutations of genes encoding these channels are responsible for genetic epilepsy
syndromes with varying degrees of severity1. Dravet syndrome, or severe
myoclonic epilepsy of infancy (SMEI), is a complex and severe form of childhood
epilepsy, caused by a nonsense mutation in the sodium voltage gated channel alpha
subunit 1 (SCN1a) gene. Severe loss of function mutation in Nav1.1 causes SMEI,
which involves intractable epilepsy, ataxia, and cognitive impairment 1. It is
important to study this disease because of its early mortality in children and because
of its high resistance to drug therapy 2. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Adeno associated viral vectors (AAV):
Adeno associated viral vectors are non enveloped single stranded DNA viruses used
in treating diseases of the central nervous system 3. AAV vectors have been widely
used in clinical trials to deliver therapeutic genes to mutated ones, and are efficient
and safe in vivo application3. However one major drawback is the limited packaging
capacity for genes with larger sizes 3. Fortunately, this can be overcome with the
treatment of the dystrophin gene (DMD), which encodes the cohesive protein
dystrophin that supports the cytoskeleton of a cell3. There are two methods can be
used with AAV vectors to decrease the duration of epilepsy: inducing somatostatin
into AAV vectors and direct injection of glial targeting AAV vectors.
Method 1:
Somatostatin (SST) is a neuromodulator known to have diverse functions in sleep and
motor activity and it plays a putative anticonvulsant role, such as in maintaining
hippocampal homeostasis4. Some studies have suggested that AAV vector mediated
expression of SST suppresses hippocampus related seizure development in rats4. Viral
vector gene therapy using SST as an anti seizure related neuropeptide in a kindling
model of epilepsy was implemented, where over successive electrical stimulation of
the same intensity, seizures evolve from partial to generalized states 4. The duration
of seizures was lower for the vector infused with SST (pAAV CBa SST), than
compared to the vector that was

17. Mattel s Iconic And Best Selling Brand
Mattel s iconic and best selling brand is The Barbie. Introduced in 1959 as The
Teenage Fashion Model, Barbie allowed girls to experience fashion and to explore
various dreams, fantasies and aspirations without ever leaving home. Because of the
introduction of the television in the 1950 s, companies discovered a new consumer
audience among children and teenagers. The post war era saw a strong economy
advancing the middle class suburban families. Now, buying toys became a year round
business versus holiday or luxury items.
Barbie s image has since transitioned from the archaic glamourous 50 s house wife
to an image that has become a part of the American fabric, by reflecting the women
of each generation. The Barbie brand is known for its lucrative collaborations,
having created collector s items for iconic brands such as Chanel, Oscar De La
Renta, Coca Cola, and most famously the Disney Princess line. This franchise has
recently gone through a drastic product rebirth over the past 10 years; modifying
the traditional and controversial measurements, in order to make Barbie appear
more realistic and naturally proportionate and physically diverse. According to an
article in The Atlantic , [Barbie] will now come in a variety of shapes and shades.

19. A Company s Corporate Social Responsibility
When looking at a company s corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the tie in to
consumer confidence, the apparel industry illustrates both the best and the worst
cases. Today s consumers are more aware of how multinational corporations are
incorporating or failing to incorporate CSR practices throughout the product
lifecycle. This awareness has pushed companies in the apparel industry like Nike
and Gap to evaluate current practices and incorporate socially responsible and
environmentally responsible policies throughout their supply chain. Product
Lifecycle The push for companies to become both ethically and environmentally
conscientious has created a push for companies to evaluate all stages of product
creation. CSR practices will directly impact the lifecycle pricing of these products.
For example, wages have increased in developing countries when CSR practices
have been implemented in the apparel industry. This increases the production costs
which will influence the lifecycle pricing. In addition to increased wages,
acquisition and disposal of raw materials also plays an important role in the pricing.
Sourcing in the apparel industry costs more to organically produce cotton, especially
in developing countries. Mass production of cotton is cheaper, but is usually not
ecologically friendly; however, sourcing of products is only one portion of the
picture. Often forgotten, is the need for disposal of waste material. Environmentally
concerned stakeholders are
20. Film Review Of The First Time I Went At College
The first time I went to college, I was a film major. I took a course that revolved
around the evolution of movies from the first film ever made to the most recent. The
instructor did little to hide her views on misogyny dominating the film industry.
Since that class, I have been unable to shake her voice from my head while I watch
even the most seemingly harmless of movies. If I had stayed in the filmindustry, I
would have tried to change what I inevitably see in mainstream Hollywood movies
time and time again films that fail the Bechdel test, a gross underrepresentation of
women both in front of and behind the camera, and the blatant use of women as
mere sexual objects in so many blockbuster movies. Looking at some popular films
in the last few years provides a rollercoaster of waxing and waning hope for whether
or not women are finding success in meaningful roles or continuing to serve as
objects to be ogled.
The Bechdel test was first made popular in Alison Bechdel s comic strip Dykes To
Watch Out For in a 1985 strip titled The Rule. In the short cartoon a woman asks her
girlfriend if she wants to see a movie. The girlfriend replies, telling her she only sees
movies that pass the rule does it feature at least two women, with names, that talk to
each other about something other than a man. From there the rule blossomed into a
general measuring tool for the presence of women in fictional films. I remember
sitting in my film class watching a YouTube video that

hard work and determination she managed to become the first female prime minister
to preside over a Muslim state. However, this was not after being met with such
hardships as enduring military coups, martial law and dictatorship, as well as being
twice removed from her position and exiled from her own country. Of course, she
ultimately paid the price for change with her life, when she was assassinated in 2007.
Because of her monumental accomplishments and the extraordinary hardships she
faced her entire life, people throughout the world including myself have been inspired

23. Comparison Of Sonnets And CollinsSonnet Vs. Collins
Sonnets are known for having a rigid format and being the hoard of poets flowery
love confessions and tormenting heartache. While most poets generally stick to that
cliche topic of love and the traditional English or Petrarchan structures, sonnets are
not defined by these common features. Both Shakespeare s My mistress eyes are...
and Collins s Sonnetsatirically poke at typical sonnets, however, Shakespeare follows
the standard English sonnet style while parodying the classic subject of love to show
how ridiculous and idealistic love sonnets can be. On the other hand, Collins breaks
free from those stern sonnet rules to joke about the strictness of sonnet structures
while defining typical sonnet rules.
Shakespeare follows the English style of sonnets, while Collins partially follows the
Petrarchan style. Both sonnets include fourteen lines, a defining feature of the sonnet
form. My mistress eyes are... consists of three quatrains that describes his argument
on love cliches, and ends with a couplet, the turning point of English sonnets. The
sonnet consists of ten syllables each line, following the rhythm of the iambic
pentameter rule. Shakespeare s sonnet follows the usual rhyme scheme of an English
sonnet: abab cdcd efef gg. Collins attempts to stray from the general sonnet principles
in contrast with Shakespeare. Sonnet loosely follows the Petrarchan style, as the lines
are grouped into one octave and one sestet in structure. Collins s Sonnet does not have
a rhyme scheme, nor does the poem follow iambic pentameter. His sonnet does,
however, present his turn in line 9, the beginning of the sestet. Collins begins poking
fun at English sonnets in the octave, but then turns to joke at Petrarchan forms. Both
sonnets have a lighthearted, humorous tone and parody classic styles of sonnets in
different ways.
Shakespeare expresses his love for his mistress through metaphors, typical of sonnets
about love. However, those comparisons describe his poor mistress in unpleasant
ways, in distinct to typical love sonnets. Poets usually describe the beauty of their
lover through embellished comparisons and through the usage of romantic language.
Shakespeare pokes fun at the fact that these comparisons are too

27. The Role And Treatment Of Women In Homer s Iliad And...
The role and treatment of women is similar in both Homer s Iliad and Euripides
Trojan Women. Both works focus on women as passive and helpless people in the
midst of war. Homer s Iliad portrays the role and treatment of women during the war,
while in contrast Euripides Trojan Women looks at the role and treatment of women
after the war has been won. Both authors highlight that the women are treated less
like human beings and more like objects for men.
Homer s portrayal of female characters in the Iliad shows how women during the
Trojan war were treated as mere objects, not as human beings. Homer emphasises
this using the few female characters found in the epic, however, focuses on this from
the male point of view. The obvious treatment and role of women as merely objects
for man was exemplified by the argument between Achilles and Agamemnon in the
first book. Agamemnon takes Briseis to replace his war prize, but also as a lesson
to Achilles, I shall take the fair cheeked Briseis, your prize, I myself going to your
shelter, that you may learn well how much greater I am than you . He dislikes that
Achilles stands up to him, arguing against him, despite his obvious higher status as
a greater king. Agamemnon shows no love or desire for Briseis, he simply wishes
to take something of Achilles for himself. However, Achilles argues against the
removal of Briseis from his possession, choosing to boycott fighting for the Greeks
as a result, With my hands I will not fight for the

30. Describe The Importance Of Needs In Travel And Tourism
4.2.1 Introduction
Needs are the basic human requirements like food, clothing and shelter. Fulfilment of
these needs are critical for the survival of human beings. Just like humans have needs,
organisations have needs as well, to ensure they survive in the market and achieve
their targets.
Want is the desire for a product or a service that is not necessary, which the customer
wishes for. Wants are influenced by social factors, cultural factors and by an
individual s personality. They are aimed towards specific objects and acquiring these
objects will fulfil the organisation s needs.

The demand of services in the travel and tourism sector is increasing from years and
they are met with the methods opted by the organisations for their firms to reach new
heights.
Service is one of the most valuable and imperative factors in the travel and tourism
industry. It is very important for firms to know what their consumers want and need.
Consumer insight is a deep understanding of a consumer s need and behaviour. This
helps marketers of various organisations to identify how they can meet the consumer
needs, thereby increasing the consumer value.
Nowadays, travel is not limited for folks, who can afford to travel, it s for the
normal man as well, who fantasizes about travelling to exotic places. Therefore,
anyone can travel if they opt the right services. If there is no importance given to the
services offered, any organisation, there is no value to the services that are provided.
This also makes the customers doubtful of choosing the specific organisation for their
services. Without any value added to the services, there is no point for any
organisation to provide any service to the

This change solves two problems: it diversifies the curriculum in terms of ethnicity

teachers need to focus on boys, however that can leave many girls uninspired and
disinterested. Dolphins would fit seamlessly into the curriculum in the existing unit

Can India sustain its present economic growth rate?
India is an emerging economy that is witnessing unprecedented levels of economic
expansion. It is widely expected that India may overtake China as the world s
fastest growing major economy by 2015. However it is not easy to sustain high
levels of economic growth rates. There were a number of countries that experienced
a high economic growth rate but were unable to sustain it for a long period of time.
In order to determine whether India can sustain its economic growth rate we need to
study the various factors that create an impact on India s economy.

developing the infrastructure (Chrystal amp; Lipsey, 2003). Builders, electricians and

Nevertheless, Indian government is trying its level best to tackle these problems.
Efforts are under way to get the private sector involved in building world class
infrastructure. The skill shortage, too, is being addressed. The literacy rate is rising
quickly. Among 15 24 years old, it is over 80%. In an attempt to curb corruption and
make India more business friendly, several reforms are being introduced. All these
corrective efforts coupled with the favorable factors will ensure that India will be
able to sustain its current economic growth rate.

Are you an Asthmatic Patient ? An overview of asthma.
Tobacco smoke and environmental factor like carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, lead,

irritation in pulmonary tract and other harmful pollutants implement bad effects to
lungs. Prevalence of respiratory disorders is increasing tremendously (300 million
people) and in future the ratio is expected to be high.
Asthma is one of the pulmonary diseases and is characterized as an inflammation of

learning networks, the use of technology, and the organizational issues such as
purpose and goal orientation in coaching and mentoring are developed throughout
this section. Part Three focuses on the practice of supervision and standards while
exploring some of the contemporary diversity issues facing coaching and mentoring.
Part Four brings together all the above topics and moves toward a theory of coaching

The authors point out that the history of mentoring is extensive and began with a
more mature and experienced person engaging in a relationship with a less
experienced person. The central purpose of both coaching and mentoring is to
transfer specific knowledge and skills from one to the other with the intent of
fostering independence (Garvey, Stokes, Megginson, 2014). Garvey et al., (2014)
distinguish the difference between coaching and mentoring. According to the authors,
coaching is the act of facilitating and mentoring is the practice of giving advice and
expert recommendations (Garvey et al., 2014). The authors believe that coaches
listen, ask questions, and enable mentees to discover for themselves what is right for
them, whereas mentors talk about their personal experience assuming it

allowed many similarities to be found between similar organisms. Another reason
his work was considered such a landmark work was that it was the first ever

Every day we are constantly meeting new people and with meeting new people
comes new personalities. Some may be our friend while others may be hypocritical.
But at the end true colors are revealed. Illusion verses reality is one of the many
themes expressed in Othello by William Shakespeare. There are many examples
shown through the character Othellowhere the misconception of illusionand reality
leads to misfortune. This is displayed when Othello develops an outrageous jealousy
due to Iago manipulating him, or when there s irrelevant hatred created between
Othello and Cassio because of these manipulations. When Iago s schemes work it

Due to Iago s perception of Othello being naГЇve, Iago uses his phenomenal
understanding of the human psyche as his ability to orchestrate pre planned

into thinking Desdemona has been unfaithful and that it was false love. I called
my love false love, but what he said then? (IV, iii, 59) This is significant because
Desdemona is beginning to realize that the love Othello had for her must have
been false she s worried that Othello will leave her. Due to Othello s inability to
differentiate between delusion and reality it s bringing forth disaster leading to
their relationship suffering. Othello being able to trust people easily allowed Iago
s words to manipulate him into making a tremendously poor decision which was
killing Desdemona. Put out the light, and then put out the light, (V,ii, 7) This quote
is paramount because Othello blows out the candle just before he strangles
Desdemona which symbolizes Desdemona s fragile life and because he is so
manipulated by Iago there is no turning back and he is ready to kill her. Othello
muses that the difference between Desdemona s life and a candle s light is that he
can put out and relight the candle but he cannot bring Desdemona back to life. The
thought of not being able to bring Desdemona back to life did not stop him from

the pump services for their gas station and don t offer cash sales like other stations.
Thirdly an opportunity would be that they are not strongly connected to the
technology world like Facebook or twitter advertising and getting out to the public
that way. Advertising and getting out there is how you get people to recognize and
buy from you. The smallest amount of communication through technology can make
a big difference in this day and age. Opportunities can also come and go so at one

41. The Lack Of A Central Holocaust Memorial
ecrying the lack of a central Holocaust memorial in Germany, a group of German
citizens begins a decade long campaign for a highly visible, national Memorial to
Europe s Murdered Jews. The idea for the memorial is first proposed by journalist
Lea Rosh and historian Eberhard Jaeckel who together had made a documentary
about the deportation and mass murder of Europe s Jews between 1933 and 1945.
November 1992
Key decisions
The German government decides that the memorial should be devoted only to Jewish
victims of the Holocaust and designates a prominent location in the center of the
newly unified city of Berlin: The five acre site will lie due south of the Brandenburg
Gate, which until 1989 had divided East and West Berlin. The site is also just a few
steps from the buried remains of the bunker where Adolf Hitler committed suicide.
Amidst the Berlin s tremendous construction boom (which garnered it the nickname
Europe s Hong Kong ), the monument is but one of many construction projects that
anticipate the relocation of the German federal government from Bonn to Berlin by
the year 2001 the same year that the monument is scheduled to be unveiled.
November 1993
Another memorial is dedicated
Germany dedicates one of its central monuments, the Neue Wache, or New Guard
House, to the victims of war and tyranny. Inside is a classical statue of a woman
cradling her grown, slain son, an enlargement of one of German Chancellor Helmut
Kohl s favorite works. Critics
42. The Multiplicative Laws Of Probability
QUESTION 1 Probability Show all calculations/reasoning
Question: 1(a)
Basic Laws of Probability
The additive law of probabilities
Probability is known as mutually exclusive events, The sum of Separate probabilities
likely to be one event occur or another.
Example:
Place 100 marbles in a box; 35 blue, 45 red, and 20 yellow.
P(blue)=.35 P(red)=.45 P(yellow)=.20
What is the probability of choosing either a red or a yellow marble from the box?
P(red or yellow) = P(red)+ P(yellow)
= .45+.20
= .65
The multiplicative law of probabilities
The multiplicative law of probability is defined as the probability of the joint
occurrence of two or more of the events which are independent events or the product
