Persuasive Essay On Animal Rights
Writing a persuasive essay on the topic of animal rights can be quite challenging due to the
complex and emotional nature of the subject. The difficulty arises from the need to navigate
through various ethical, moral, and scientific aspects, while also addressing the emotional
connection that individuals often have with animals.
Firstly, one must delve into the ethical considerations surrounding the treatment of animals,
exploring different perspectives on whether they have inherent rights and if those rights should
be legally protected. This involves an in-depth analysis of philosophical arguments, ranging from
utilitarianism to deontology, and the application of these theories to the treatment of animals in
various contexts.
Addressing the scientific aspect adds another layer of complexity. It requires a comprehensive
understanding of animal behavior, cognition, and emotional intelligence. To make a persuasive
case, one must draw on credible sources and studies to support the argument for recognizing and
protecting the rights of animals based on their capacity to experience pain, suffering, and
pleasure.
Moreover, considering the emotional connection people have with animals, the essay must appeal
to readers' empathy and compassion without veering into overly sentimental territory. Striking
the right balance between presenting factual information and eliciting an emotional response is
crucial to making a compelling case for animal rights.
Additionally, the writer must be aware of the potential for bias and emotional reasoning,
addressing counterarguments and presenting a well-rounded perspective. Negotiating through
the diverse views on this subject, which may include cultural, religious, and economic
considerations, adds another layer of difficulty to the task.
In conclusion, crafting a persuasive essay on animal rights requires a nuanced understanding of
ethical, scientific, and emotional dimensions. It demands meticulous research, careful
consideration of opposing views, and the ability to present a balanced and convincing argument.
Despite its challenges, addressing such a crucial and sensitive topic is essential for fostering
awareness and driving positive change.

Levels Of Organisational Behaviour
Organisational Behaviour is a study of the way in which a human behaves in an
organisation or company. This study on human behaviour can be broadly classified
into three levels, which define the unique set of roles, responsibilities, and goals of
people at each level of the organisation. These levels are: 1.Individual Level: This
level forms the base of the organizational behaviour and is related to the individuals
working in an organization. It includes the study of organizational behaviour at the
individual level and deals with the perception, personality, learning, motivation and
attitudes of the employees in an organization. 2.Group Level: The next level in
organizational behaviour is the group level, which includes the study of group
formation, team conflict, leadership, power and politics. It helps in gaining
information on how to improve the team work, motivate the employees, etc.
3.Organizational Level: The third level in organizational behaviour is... Show more

Improving quality and productivity: Increased competition has increased the focus on
quality and better productivity in organizations. Managers in the organization are
aware that improvement in quality and productivity cannot be achieved without the
involvement of the employees. Organization behaviour stresses on the importance of
motivating employees to accept changes and accomplish organizational objectives.
4.Developing employee skills: Due to the changes in the external environment,
organizational structure and increasing competition require that the knowledge and
skill base of employees is constantly upgraded. If the employees and executives are
not equipped to possess these required knowledge and skills, the organizational
objectives cannot be achieved. Development of skills and knowledge of employees
can be achieved through training and development programs, career development
programs, induction and socialization, etc. this also is one of the man challenges that

Characteristics Of Satan In Paradise Lost
In Paradise Lost the character of Satan is created by Milton. There are many
characters of Satan in literature, and over the creation of each Satan, he as a
character has evolved. It is thought by John Carey that Milton observed the former
characters of Satan and used them as inspiration to influence his new character as
Satan. Milton created Satan as the author of evil and created him by himself. Satan is
the main character throughout Paradise Lostthat starts the story and puts events into
motion. As Milton created his Satan he focused on strong characteristics of epic
heroes and rhetoric. In Paradise Lost , Milton uses select qualities of an epic hero to
be displayed as an epic hero himself.
To become an epic hero the character must travel over vast settings to meet the
criteria to be an epic hero. Milton created the story in a religious sense which can be
seen in the setting too. The setting consists of Earth, Hell, Heaven, and the space
between them. Heaven and Hell are complete polar opposites which is in relation
to the distance between them. The space between Heaven and Hell is empty space
and Earth. Earth represents the middle ground between perfect and imperfect. Satan
starts his journey in Hell and must travel through Hell to the far gates out of Hell.
And thrice threefold the gates... Yet unconsumed ( II.645 648). His journey began
from hell and then once he passed out of the troubling gates of Hell he ended up in
a place he had never been before. This was

that Leeson had an excessive concentration of power that could lead to error and

gambles in the market and making daily requests for substantial funds from Barings

Post Modernism And Its Influence On Society
Post modernism came about in the late 20th century following modernism, which
was a period where people had a new found freedom to follow their own path in
life, whether it was religion, science, philosophy, art, or really anything they put
their mind to as opposed to strictly traditional beliefs. Writers could express their
emotions more easily without really feeling a backlash from what everyone else
thought. Two female writers who were able to freely express themselves in their
writingduring post modernism were Linda Pastan and Sharon Olds. Linda
Pastan talked more about her life in general like every day anxieties, her marriage,
parenting, and even grief. However, Sharon Olds was a little more controversial in
her writing since she often talked about sexuality and violence. Their writing styles
were similar in the aspect that they both enjoyed writing based on their own lives, but
still very different on how they talked about certain subject matter. Even with
different approaches, these two authors were still both very influential on others who
wanted to share the same dream. Both authors have had similar educational
backgrounds and writing recognition. Pastan
Was raised in New York City and attended Radcliffe College. After her graduation,
she decided to focus her life on her family and did not return to writing until 10
years later when she was encouraged by her husband to do so. She received awards
such as Mademoiselle poetry prize, the Dylan Thomas
Summary Of Boomerang Kids
Would you choose to backpack across the country with all expenses paid or enter
the work field as an underpaid employee? In an article, Boomerang Kids: What are
the Causes of Generation Y s Growing Pains written by Rosie Evans, she expresses
her feelings on the issue of the Generation Y s challenges of entering adulthood in
today s society. Clearly, anyone born between the 1980 s to 2000 s is considered to
be a part of the Generation Y or Millennial generation. Therefore, the reluctances of
the Millennial s and entering adulthood has brought concern to the Baby Boomer
generation and society as a whole. In the article, Evans refers to two articles, the first
article, Henig s 2010 New York Times article What Is It About 20 Somethings? and
the second article, blogger Scammed Hard! What s Wrong with 20 Somethings? both
discussion pieces express different points of view on the controversy. Namely Evans
refers to Henig s article on how the Millennial generation s unenthusiastic leap into
adulthood must come from having a helicopter parent and the parenting style has
enabled the mental growth in the twenty somethings. In addition, Evans continues
discussing how... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Regarding Henry Essay
The movie Regarding Henry is about a middle aged man working as a lawyer who
focuses more on his work than his family or relationships. But a tragic accident
leads to him losing almost all of his memories and most of his functions, forcing him
to recuperate and get back into his busy life. During the story of Regarding Henry,
the Id and Superego are at a constant warto take control of Henry s lifestyle, causing
him to be a mess before and after his accident. In the movie Regarding Henry, Henry
s natural state is the pleasure wanting Id. Before his accident and after his accident,
Henry s Id is a large contributing factor to most of his actions throughout the story.

Making itself many times throughout the film, his Id drove most of his actions in
the movie and get him into trouble multiple times. While his Superego is still
active and does work its magic when it is absolutely necessary, most of the time,
his Id is in charge. Examples of this are when he was told his daughter was going to
school because it was a great opportunity for her and her future and he does not
want to her to go as it kept him from seeing her. Eventually he was basically forced
to let her go, but he really did not want her to go and tried to convince his wife to
not let her go. This shows he is in his natural state of the Id as he wants his
daughter to stay at home and never wants her to leave as he enjoys doing things
with her. He does not think of the ramifications of this, nearly costing her a bright
future of prosperity. Other examples are similar to this, like when quit his job
because he did not want to work in that environment or talk to those people. He was
not enjoying himself so he quit, which could put him and the rest of his family in a
large amount of trouble both financially and emotionally. Quitting his job would
cause a large decrease of income to the family, leading to stress, anxiety, and maybe
even homelessness if not managed correctly. All of this because he did not want to
work as a lawyer. These two

(A five year horizon is common, but this can vary.) Typically you will use the
WACC as your discount rate. Depending on the circumstances, the estimated cash
flows may be available for fewer than five years, or more than five years.
b.Estimate the PV of the terminal value. One estimate for the terminal value
involves assuming perpetual cash flows after the initial time horizon, e.g.: i.If the
cash flow after 5 years is expected to grow at a rate g for the foreseeable future:
Terminal Value5 (TV5) = FCF6 /(k g) = FCF5 (1+ g) / (k g)., where k is the
required rate of return. You must discount the TV to time 0, and then add this to
the PV of the FCFs during the projection horizon. ii. If the cash flow at the end of 5
years is not expected to grow, i.e., g=0, then the general formula collapses to the
PV of a no growth perpetuity: Terminal Value5 = FCF6 / (k g) = FCF5 (1+ g)/(k g)
= FCF5 / k c.Use the Value of the Firm equation above, i.e. sum PV of free cash

Definition Essay On Happiness
Everyone in life has their own perspective of happiness, everyone has their own
struggles and obstacles that they go through . Individually, happiness does not
include materialistic items because they only last for the moment. Happiness is
when you are content with yourself within and do not care about others judging you
for you. People in our society often think that having the finer things in life and
changing their appearance will help them cope with the flaws inside of themselves.
Instead of being satisfied with who they are and what they already have, they tend to
go above and beyond their means as an individual. This makes it harder to become
lively because people are consistently trying to find happinessoutside of themselves

The Between Yoga And Bodybuilding
Yoga has many benefits, but few people consider the overlap that exists between
yoga and bodybuilding. In truth, the two exercises are more closely connected than
many people realize: Both practices focus on improving the human body and, while
they might diverge, there are still plenty of exercises and benefits to be found.
As a form of exercise, yoga is fantastic for improving vitality, thanks to its focus on
improving postures and creating harmony between the body and mind. It s a great
practice to improve and counteract some of the effects of bodybuilding.
Weightlifting, for example, can often result in short, tight muscles. Yoga can serve as
an effective means to counter this, giving you firm but long muscles that are able to ...

Here s a list of the six most useful positions for bodybuilding. These will enable you
to improve your balance, stamina, and agility.
1. Plank
It might look simple, but anyone familiar with yoga knows how difficult Plank can
be. This position requires you to hold your body away from the ground while
maintaining a straight line with your posture.
It is this exact movement that helps to build muscles with repeated exercise.
Specifically, it will improve the muscles along your inner core.
Plank also requires you to maintain a straight back, stretching your body. A unique
benefit of this is giving your muscles the opportunity to adapt around your bone
structure. This is vital along your back, as it allows your muscle mass to develop and
not interfere with your collarbone or shoulder blades.
Such benefits are often ignored when weightlifting alone, so Plank can be a useful
gap filling tool in many exercise regimes. Apart from developing a firm, toned
stomach, Plank has also been shown to help reduce back pain.
For added variety, you can also add Side Planks into your workout. These offer the
same benefits, only for the muscles found along the side of the body.
2. Standing Forward Fold
Standing Forward Fold Uttasana is an ideal position for helping joints and the
surrounding muscles. It is commonly used to benefit the development of muscles in
the calf, hips, and hamstrings.
For this position, practitioners bend
Mowgli Girl Research Paper
A recent event that I have found interesting is the story about the Mowgli Girl .
This is a girl that was discovered around January 2017 in the jungle near the border
of Nepal in the Bahaich region. They think that the girl was living with monkeys.
She was name Mowgli after the Jungle Books. They said when the workers that
found her would come near her she would screech and act like a monkeyand that
there would be monkeys near her. One story even said that the guy got chased
down by monkeys while he was trying to help the girl. Mowgli girl adapted to her
society of living with monkeys and appears that she became like a monkey. There

Culture is something developed over time by a group of people not just created by
one person. Referring back to gender role in society this was not something that
humans were born with but it was created and reinforced over long period of time.
Now more recently we can see these behaviors changing where women work more,
men help with chores, and the roles are starting to merge. Culture also has a way of
shaping one s view and values in the world. Culture also shapes our behavior and
our reason for doing certain things which is known as cultural behavior. The
difficult thing about cultures is that no two cultures are the same so it is not a one
size fits all. You have to take time to learn each culture and some cultures you will
fit in better into than others. This is like a work place have that has developed a
culture that constantly changes as new employees come and old one leave. If you are
more laid back then you will fit into a work culture that is more flexible then one that
is tightly structured.
Social self is how you think others see you and if you belong and or connect with
others around you. Women in the US tend to prioritize differences and uniqueness

John Legend Research Paper
John Legend suggests you should love your curves and all your edges, all your
perfect imperfections, but for some reason people have a hard time accepting their
bodies. Everyday men and women struggle with their body image and accepting
how they look. They feel like if they do not look a certain way they are not good
enough and they will not live a happy life. People are constantly pressured to change
their bodies due to the standards of society and they are willing to do anything to
achieve this body of perfection.
Over time, society is putting more and more pressure on people about their body
image and how they should look. According to society, women ideally need to be thin
with flat stomachs to look good and be happy. Thus, the extent ... Show more content

Many people start with diets, but these diets do not have fast enough results, so they
turn to starvation, eating disorders, and extreme workouts. Among women,
internalization of the thin ideal has been linked to dietary restraint that may precede
eating disorders. Among men, internalization of the muscular ideal has been
associated with various strategies to increase muscularity (Gudnadottir 151).
Reaching the goal of society starts off as a simple diet. When the diet does not have
fast enough results, things become more extreme. Women start to starve themselves
by only eating once a day or only eating salad and not gaining all the nutrients and
vitamins their body needs to survive. They call this being healthy. Men, on the other
hand, begin to increase their serving sizes and go on an all protein diet to try to gain
as much muscle mass as possible. This is followed by extreme weight lifting at the
gym, and sometimes can lead to the use of steroids. In severe cases, men and
women both begin to develop eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa and binge
eating. Men and women do not realize the toll these extreme measures take on their
bodies. They think by becoming this way they are being healthy and improving their
overall health, but in reality, they are harming their bodies. However, these practices
could increase the
Organic Food And Organic Foods
Introduction with Industry Overview:
Organic food has continuously been seen as the healthy choice but only in recent
years has the concept become a world over phenomenon. Earlier, organic food was
somewhat of a fad and although the principles were practiced, it was by no means
highlighted.
The argument on whether the organic food products can be bought online and are
really organic has gained enormous magnitudes in not only Pakistan but all over
the world. People are dealing with issues of what is safe and fresh to buy online,
what is clean and what is not, what food processing is hard to animals and soil and
what is more viable. To resolve these issues, many people are moving towards
organic food products.
As per the World of Organic Agriculture study, the organic food products market has
been rising at the rate of 20 25% per annum for the last decade.
The food situation in Pakistan also needs immediate attention mainly due to no or
very low compliance with standards and lack of monitoring. Though many people
seem to be savvy on the issues involved, at least to some extent, the online market for
nontoxic, cleaner, organic products in the country is still very limited.
Are people responsive to the differences between organic and conventional foods?
Do they have access to them? Do buyers and sellers have different view points on
the availability, prices and value of organic foods? Do they have multiple options to
choose from? Will they buy online? This report is
Observation of Children at Play and Work
Observation: Yesterday, in the morning, I was sitting on the floor, pretending that
I was cooking something on the pot as I stir. Child A saw what I was doing and
walked towards me. Child A, come and see what I am cooking , I said. She took
the saucepan with the lid that was on the stove, sat down on the floor and put the
saucepan down. She held on to the lid, opened it and closed it. I handed her the
spoon that I was using and I took the pot and the spatula and showed her how to
stir. This is how we stir, Child A , I said. She started pounding the saucepan using
the spoon that I gave her, making sounds. Child B heard the sound that Child A
was making and saw what we are doing. Child B was looking at the pot and the
saucepan that was on the floor as she crawls toward us. She sat on the floor beside
me and opened and closed the pot twice. I opened my eyes wide and smiled, Wow
Child B you are making sounds! , I said. Child B looked at me and smiled back. I
gave her the spatula and assisted her hand on how to stir. I took the kettle and the
cups and put it on the floor. I sang, This is the way we pour our drink and pretended
that I was from the cup. Child A took the other cup and drank from it. Uh oh! Out
of your mouth, Child A , I said. Later that day, after their lunch, Child C went to the
dramatic area and played with the kitchenware. I went to her and sang, This is the
way we stir our food as I use the spoon to stir. She moved her head from left
Why Is Tuesdays With Morrie Selfish
Get busy living or get busy dying. (Stephen King) Morrie is a kind and loving man
who shares facts about life s purposes. He shows that life can be cruel because it s
like a test, you take every chance you get because in your life it only happens once.
In the memoir, Tuesdays with Morrie, Morrie teaches about the world an suffering,
showing emotions, and our culture and how it influences us. In the first Tuesday,
Morrie talks about how the world pressures people into being selfish rather than
thinking of others. Morrie believes that Morrie saw all the suffering and anger in
the world and felt so sad for the innocent people. He said he has come to realize that
the most important thing is to give out love and let love come back in. According
The Art Of Paul Cezanne
Introduction Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso were both profoundly influenced by
the art of Paul CГ©zanne, somewhat ironically since the latter is reported to have
been quite uncertain of his artistic contributions and anxious about his legacies
(Merleau Ponty, 1945). Picasso described CГ©zanne as my one and only master ;
while Matisse noted that it is undoubtedly to CГ©zanne that I owe the most . The
Large Bathers was one of two final paintings produced by CГ©zanne in 1906, the
year of his death. At this stage Matisse had acquired a reputation as an upcoming
artistic leader via an exhibition in 1905 (Bio, n.d. #1); while Picasso was a 25 year
old prodigy who had already secured lucrative patronage (Bio, n.d. #2). The three
paintings of interest must be considered in the context of their artists evolution. To
examine the relationship between the three paintings, I will first briefly summarise
the artistic trends of the day to provide context, then examine The Large Bathers. I
will then compare and contrast Matisse s Bonheur de Vivre and Picasso s Les
Demoiselles d Avignon, both with The Large Bathers and with each other. Europe,
1906 The turn of a century brings with it opportunities for reflection about the old and
wonder about the new along with both excitement and trepidation. At the entry to the
twentieth century, social and technological change were continuing at historically
unprecedented pace. The signs and pressures of development were all around and

The Effects Of Inequality On Sex Roles In Society
In its early years socialization theory was use by Talcott Parsons (1942) to explain
how early childhood behaviors are shaped to fit the sex roles later expect from
them by society. These masculine and feminine roles and tasks are put in place to
accomplish all market, non market and forced work. However, I question if other
social statuses ascribed to members of a society can be modified or even eliminate
the expected portrayal of these sex roles . Coined by Kimberle Crenshaw (1993),
intersectionality is the way in which multiple forms of inequality intersect; such as
race, class, gendersexuality and disability. It is my belief that we best see the effects
of intersectionality on sex roles in institutions of home, work and school.
Within my lifetime, I have unconsciously subscribed to the roles considered natural
of my gender but my culture (urbanity) and ethnicity (African American) has allowed
me to break or reshape how I efficiently do gender. Equating characteristics of my
femininity are thought to be physical attractiveness and nurturing. Due to my
affiliation with both a minority culture and ethnicity I fall into a structure of society,
which is often oppressed through the embossment of society s dominant group
privileging their own interests. Through cognitive development theory in the home,
school and work I took part in active roles to develop my gender identity. It was
superiors and caretakers who behaviors gave me competency of my femininity with
Peer Pressure In Mean Girls
Did you know 67% of teenage girls are pressured to dress a certain way? In the
movie Mean Girls, peer pressure is a common theme. It majorly influences many
teenager s lives. The movie represents the life of a high school student and all the
struggles and pressures she faces. There are many examples of peer pressure
throughout the movie. All the girls pressure each other to do certain activities, wear
certain things, or act a certain way to fit into a clique. Most of the effects of peer
pressure are negative. High schoolis a place to grow as a person and peer pressure
has a major impact on the lives of students. Mean Girls by Tina Fey, shows the
coming of age of many teenagers throughout their junior year of high school.
Coming of age means growing up and reaching a certain point in your life where you
are more mature and responsible. The characters undergo a moral growth during the
film. By the end, they grow as students learning to accept one another. For example,

scared she d get looked down upon for not putting it in the book. Janis also

The Species Of Homo Neanderthalensis Essay
1.Introduction:
The Paleo species of Homo neanderthalensis have been the subject of debate since
their discovery in 1829. Even in the early beginnings, the scientific research
concerning this early hominin species has been debated, and it was not until 1864
that the first Homo neanderthalensis was recognized as an early hominin fossil
(citation). Fortunately, progress has been made into piecing back together the history
of Homo neanderthalensis. However, there are still significant questions that remain
unanswered; a broad example of one of those questions is what was the contributing
factor to their extinction.
Fortunately, there has been a significant amount of research done which pertained to
them not being able to adapt to the changing climate on the latter half of the
Pleistocene or were out competed by anatomically modern humans either by
technology and cultural adaptation or even interbreeding. These theories could
potentially explain their extinction because each one explored a different aspect of
Neanderthal life. L. DalГ©n et al. theorized low mDNA, or mitochondrial DNA,
which is only passed down through the maternal lineage through generations, was
caused by the climate change in the latter half of the Pleistocene, about 58 thousand
years ago, which predated the arrival of anatomically modern humans. While another
theory suggested that, slightly before the extinction of the Neanderthals globally,
anatomically modern humans interbred with Neanderthals on
Grammatical Analysis To Chisholm
Lexical and grammatical analysis Avoidance of agency or attribution of agency to
collectivities and not individuals, is a characteristic feature of Chisholm s speech.
She tends to use generalized and impersonal constructions. For instance, in the
opening phrases of the address, she puts forth the following example: [...] when a
young woman graduates from college and starts looking for a job, she is likely to
have a frustrating and demeaning experience ahead of her. If she walks into an
office for an interview, the first question she will be asked is, Do you type? The
underlying assumption of this fragment is that all women are generally thought to be

Perpustakaan Negara and Pusat Sains Negara
Other than that, both the National Library, Perpustakaan Negara , and The National
Science Centre, Pusat Sains Negara , have the same purposes in which to allow the
public gain knowledges from their visits. The National Library building design was
influenced by the concept of a traditional Malay men head gear called tengkolok
songket which can be seen exteriorly.
Most of the public building as mentioned above used a traditional approach in it s
design concept. This indicated that part of the traditional influences is still being use
locally in the progress of forming the urban characteristic of Kuala Lumpur.
Other than all the mentioned buildings in previous pages, the other major
components in contributing urbanism in Malaysia is the old local shophouses which
also had been the source of economic growth and helps in the local urban
development around 1970s.
In 20th century, three storey shophouses were built in Kuala Lumpur and had been
quite popular in comparison to other single and double storey shophouses in other
places due to the high demand of land values and urban progression to accommodate
increasing capacity, also to provides enough neccessities and needs of the town
people back at that time. Although the storey height of the shophouses is increasing,
the plot arrangement and layout remains the same along the existing street following
the traditional method of linkages. Practically, this kind of development using the
traditional linear style blocks along

The basic idea of making use of the natural and modified avenues is to assure

There are different ways of determining what О» should be and I will cover how to
obtain such values by using the error terms of the sequence |x_k x^* | and |x_(k+1)
x^* | which can be denoted e_k and
гЂ– eгЂ—_(k+1) respectively.
By comparing different methods and using them on the same problems we will be
able to find out if and where different methods will be suited to different functions.
In some instances one method may not work because it is may not be able to find
a descending path to follow hence unable to find a minimizer, or possibly one
method may take and ascending path firstly so it could descend. By the end of this
research I will be able to recognise such conditions and restraints when applying a
method to a function problem, as well as being able to use a correct method of
optimization and picking one with a high order of convergence to obtain a minimizer
as quickly as possible.
Due to there being multiple dimensions I will also look at when there is only one
dimension to worry about, these methods will include the Secant, Bisection and
Fibonacci Methods, by looking at these I can show my opinion on what would be the
best type of method if the function problem was in only one dimension, as perhaps a
method which can be used for n dimensions may have unnecessary work for a
problem with a single dimension, I will do multiple comparisons between the one
dimension methods and then with methods that are used for multiple dimensions,
Your Assumptions Are Your Windows On The World
Summary
Your assumptions are your windows on the world. Scrub them off every once in
awhile, or the light won t come in. Isaac Asiman describes an assumption in a
visual way. When people make an assumption, their view of the world becomes
dimmer and darker. The window will get more tainted and the outside world won t
be as clear as it used to be. Their windows will be completely dark until all they can
see is their reflections staring back at them with wondering eyes. The individual
has been so sure of themselves that they didn t realize the world was slipping away
into a dimming light. Now, all they are left with is darkness. Everyone has been
pushed away by that individual s vision of how things are ought to be. It s until that
they see their own reflection do they see that the world has closed off. For the light
to reappear in their life again, the person will have to see the other side and get in
touch with the reality of the world. Once the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Whenever someone makes an assumption, they will look for clues that will back up
their assumption. This happens a lot when someone is trying to figure out if two
people are dating or not. If someone assumes that the two are dating, they will keep
their assumption hidden until they have all the facts. One reason why assumptions
stay hidden from us is that they are so deeply ingrained; the assumptions may appear
when we come across a certain person or group that ll remind us of the assumption.
People can also make assumptions about different cultures. While we may have a
culture a certain way, another country may have there s a completely different way.
Whenever we travel to another country, we will need to bring the different
assumptions to light that way we can learn about their culture with an open
God s Salvation For Us
Before starting the exploration of discerning God s predestined plan of salvation for
us, we have to understand a little bit about his own nature, attributes and
characteristics. With our limited mind, we cannot fully comprehend or define Him,
but based on the scripture verses that we have, we can observe some of His essences
and attributes. His divine essences are revealed in the Scripture through His love,
holiness and righteousness.
Some theologians, who tried to understand God s nature, also agree about some basic
attributes like the sovereignty, the omnipotence, the omnipresence and the
omniscience of God. Having an accurate understanding of all these characteristics of
God will help us to build this study on a solid platform.
The sovereignty of God tells us that He has unlimited authority over His Creation.
The fact that God is sovereign and love, at the same time, gives us the confidence
about the fulfillment of His promises to us.
God s Omnipotence guarantees us His power to fulfill all His promises. God
showed His absolute power through His Creation and his redeeming plan of
salvation. Apostle Paul describes how his power is proved through Christ s
resurrection by writing His incomparably great power for us who believe. That
power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when He raised Christ from the
dead (Ephesians 1:19 20).
The omnipresence and omniscience of God help us feel safe and confident that God
is in control; He is everywhere in the same time
Advantages And Disadvantages Of EHR
Some pitfalls EHR No system is perfect. While EHR has benefits over the
traditional pen and paper it also has pitfalls. The cost of implementing Alberta s
new clinical information system over a 10 year period is estimated at
approximately $1.6 billion (Office of the Auditor General of Alberta, 2017). Why
are we spending all this money into building a new EHR while we already have an
existing system in every province and region? Some of the disadvantages listed
below will answer why there is a need for a new EHR in the province. *** Add
Interoperability Interoperability is the ability of systems to work together within and
across organizational boundaries (HIMSS, 2013). It is not just the ability to exchange
health information but includes the ability to understand what is being executed.
Some EHRs doesn t follow the standards for compatibility and the information fails to
follow the patient as the patient moves through the system(Canada Health Infoway
Inc., 2006). Patients will endure repetitive tests, scans, narration of allergies and
family history of chronic disease every time they switch care provider since the
clinical information is trapped within the boundaries of their previous health setting.
At present AHS have 1,300+ different systems in use across the province which are
not efficient at exchanging and interpreting patient information(AHS, 2017). The
present systems which fails talking to each other is an example of disparate and
inoperable system. Hence,
Change In Circumstances
Circumstance has a wonderful power to change people in different ways. I have
chosen to explore the theme People change in different circumstances. This theme is
evident in the short text Dulce et decorum est by Wilfred Owen, Refugee mother and
child by Chinua Achebe, and movie Unbroken by Angelina Jolie and The maze
runner by Wes Ball.
At the beginning of the text Dulce et decorum est, a war poet experienced the horrors
of gas warfare during World War Ifirst hand. He enlisted with a group of soldiers
was willing to fight for their country and die for their country. Wilfred Owen thought
it was patriotic to die for his country, but he changed his mind after he experienced
the war and pointless death. The example The old lie; Dulce et Decorum ... Show

A mother holding her dying son in her hands for the last time compare to how
other mothers no longer care about their children. This shows that people will

of surviving caused those mother to give up on their children. The example Most
mother there had no long ceased to care but not this one. helps emphasize a fact
that most mothers no longer care about their children because of the harsh
circumstance they were suffering in. This is important because most mothers love
and care about their children very much, but due to the tough life they were living
in, they changed. Another example, She held a ghost smile between her teeth and
in her eyes the ghost of a mother s pride as she combed the rust coloured hair left
on his skull and then singing in her eyes. helps emphasize a fact that there was a
mother who still care about her son, she was also struggling with life. However, she
didn t give up her son. The shows that the harsh circumstance changes people not
only in a negative way but can also change people in a positive way. The mother has
the courage to took care about her son, the harsh circumstance made their family
bond even stronger. This links back to Wilfred Owen s case when he changed his

How Is Meursault Intelligent
Artificial intelligence is the perfect blend between human ingenuity, creativity, drive
and robotic purpose, persistence, and efficacy. But what happens when a human is no
more distinguishable than artificial intelligence? In Albert Camus s The Stranger, the
protagonist Meursault is a particularly bizarre character, one with seemingly no
ambitions, emotions, or passions who merely goes through the motions of living
without ever truly feeling. On the whole, he is a rather unremarkable character until
he kills a man, at which point society plays close attention to him as an oddity and
ultimately condemns him to death for the moral murder of his mother. Despite never
making an appearance, the character of Meursault s mother is a significant presence...

Through the death of Madame Meursault, Camus develops Meursault s character
and views past the initial apathy he feels towards everything. Meursault s lack of
emotions is first seen in his actions at his mother s vigil. The novel begins with
Meursault stating Maman died today. Or yesterday maybe, I don t know. (1) One
could try to justify this uncertainty by saying that Meursault is grieving and cannot
be expected to remember everything except that as the novel progresses, it
becomes clear that Meursault is just plain indifferent when he smokes during the
vigil because it didn t matter (10) and says his mother was fairly (16) old because
he does not know her actual age. In not knowing how old Madame Meursault was or
when she died, and in smoking when he should have been grieving, Meursault
reveals himself to be a phlegmatic character who could not care less about the fact
that his mother just passed. When he chooses to smoke at the vigil, he betrays his
own attitude about his mother s death, that it did not actually matter or faze him in
any way, a mindset typically viewed as abnormal. In a further show of idiosyncrasy,
when his mother dies, rather than expand, Meursault makes a prison of his apartment
by confining himself to one room. With Madame Meursault
Sinclair Lewis and Babbitt
Sinclair Lewis and Babbitt
The book under analysis herein is Sinclair Lewis Babbitt. The copy I am using in
this research is published by Harcourt, Brace World, Inc., New York, 1950. The
original version was published in 1922, but there is no information in this book
regarding what printing or edition it may be. This edition encompasses thirty four
chapters which span 401 pages in length as they are printed here. One interesting note
is that the novel is dedicated to Edith Wharton.
The author of the work, Sinclair Lewis, was born in Sauk Centre, Minnesota, and
holds the distinction of being the first American ever to be awarded the Nobel Prize
for literature. Lewis was born in the late 19th century and lived ... Show more content

If we look at specific passages from the novel, it is easy to see the author s
contention as described above. While he does temporarily decide to fight the limiting
influences of a material society that ostracizes individuality opposed to its established
norms, Babbitt does revert back to his unquestioning superficial self once he
recognizes that having original thoughts and acting on them is isolating, unprofitable
and even dangerous. Babbitt is supposed to represent the ordinary human being, the
average businessman and upwardly mobile middle class America. However, Babbitt
seems more artifice than genuine human being. Like the ads that sell Americans
products, Babbitt has forged an identity that was imposed on him by the dominant
forces of democratic capitalism, Just as he was an Elk, a Booster, a member of the
Chamber of Commerce, just as the priests of the Presbyterian Church determined his
every religious belief, and the senators who controlled the Republican Part decided in
little smoky rooms in Washington what he should think about disarmament, tariffs,
and Germany, so did the large national advertisers fix the surface of his life, fix what
he believed to be his individuality. These standard advertised wares...at first the signs,
then the substitutes, for joy and passion and wisdom (Lewis 95).
However, for all his satire of Babbitt, Lewis, in keeping with his own character, seems

Enhancing a cloud based network could mean to make the network faster, safer,
efficient, cost effective and user friendly. The aim of this report is to discuss the
methods and techniques of trying to improve a cloud based network and what this
could mean. The outcome of the project being implemented will be to simulate a
cloud based campus network with optimum performance which then reflects its
results in charts and graphs making comparisons with one another. A variety of
aspects will be explored prior to simulating the network such as current
technologies, new protocols, servers, data centres, testing and availability.
Furthermore material on the software Opnet also known as Riverbed will be
provided because this will be used to simulate the final product. The purpose of the
project is to provide an insight into current matters which is then followed by
creating a cloud based network that is reliable, efficient, cost friendly and safe to
use for a university campus to utilise. Review of Literature Performance Problems
How They are Measured The literature within this report has been gathered using a
variety of sources such as websites, academic journals, eBooks and reports. When it
comes to cloud computing there are some major risks including security 87.5%,
availability 83.3% and performance 82.9% according to Kopp (2011). These are high
priority aspects when initially moving to cloud, however
Literature s Influence On The Movie Hairspray
Literature has the ability to influence people s lives in multiple ways. One of my
all time favorite movies is the movie Hairspray. This movie, particularly, stands out
to me because it proves to people how one person can make a huge difference in
the world. Hairspray has influenced my point of view of the world by proving to
me that someone, as quiet as I am, can prove to be more powerful than they think
they are. In the movie, Tracy Turnblad has a passion for dancing. She went after her
dreams not listening to anyone that told her she couldn t. Eventually she even made
a difference that changed the world. I, also, have a passion for dancing. Multiple
people have told me in the past that I should quit dance and I should not dance
anymore.
What Is My Favorite Song Essay
As I always listen to variety of music all over the world, so I have many favorite
songs that always dancing in my mind. However I will include these five special,
meaningful songs in my mix tape. The first one is Hey Soul Sister by Train.
Actually the lyrics of this song does not have special meaning for me but the song
itself reminds me 6 years of being a student who stayed in boarding school with a
lot of amazing friends. My friends and I loved to sing this song whenever we felt
stress or lazy to study as it is very catchy and have beautiful, harmony melody.
Sometimes, we sang this song for many times as loud as we can until our voice
became husky. Whenever, I remind all what we had done or listening to Hey Soul
Sister again, I will smile and laugh to myself as it reminds me to my teens life. I also

As this song is originally written by him, it gave deep impact not just to my mind
but to my heart too. Actually the singer of this song, Kim Jonghung passed away
recently as he committed suicide due to the depression that he suffered for quite
long time. After knowing about that news, I heard this song for one more time and
I ended up crying like crazy for almost one hour and over. It is because the lyrics
and melody of the song really deep and full of sorrow. Actually I am the one who
not really cry just for a song or movie, but this is my first time having this
experience. I just realized after his death that most the song that sang and written
by him are related to his depression. It looks like he wanted to convey his feeling
through the song as he such a cheerful guy in front of cameras. Unfortunately, most
of his friend and fans did not realize that and he chose that ways to end up his
depression and loneliness. This tragedy makes me noticed that we must always

Analysis Of My Room Belongs To An Alien
Verbal Visual Essay Speak
My room belongs to an alien. (15)
This quote near the beginning of the book is in the context of Melinda describing
her room. She says this because of how it is decorated very strangely. The way she
words her sentence implies that she doesn t know who she was when she was
younger, that she is alien . Because of this and the fact she has no friends, she can t
relate to anyone, not even her past self. This causes her to be pushed deeper into her
depression.
2) It looks like my mouth belongs to someone else, someone I don t even know. (17)
This quote relates to the last, but is different because insteading of talking about her
past self, she is talking about her present self. Because she is comparing herself to a
stranger, this shows that she is starting to lose control over her identity. This is
important because without connections to anyone else, or herself, she is starting to
go into an all time low of her depression.
3) This has meaning. Pain. (65)
This quote appears when Mr.Freeman is inspecting Melinda s art. The artwork
included a doll with tape over it s mouth. This shows that other people can see that
Melinda is in pain, but nobody wants to do anything about it. The reason why this is
important it shows that because Melinda is alone, she is in pain.
4) Rudolph sets out on his ice flow, I m independent, he declares (72)
This quote happens when Melinda is watching Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer .

autonomous and sovereign nations, India and Pakistan. Instantly after the autonomy,
both countries joined the British Commonwealth. The autonomy of India and
Pakistan made the between religious viciousness of such greatness that trade of
populace along religious lines turned into a need in every nation. More than two
million individuals moved over the new fringes and more than one hundred thousand

One of the most exciting things that I have done in my life is the sport of
paintballing in which I played professionally in my home country of Kuwait.
Paintballing is like a game of tag in which two teams of six people face each other
in an arena with inflatable cover. The objective of the game is to tag out as many
people as you can with your paintball gun that has paintballs that explode on impact.
In paintballing there is woodstyle, speedball and scenario which varies in whatever
arena or location that you are playing in. To me this is the closest that anyone can
get to a combat scenario and the feeling that I get from playing the sport gets my
heart racing every time making me very excited and happy when I go out with my
team to play. When playing woodsballstyle we are placed in a location with many
trees that gives us a in the woods feeling. In woodsball you have to be very smart
how you move your team and who has who because some people use camouflage
clothing that makes it hard to see and you can get shot very easily without even
knowing. In woodsball I like to use a longrange weapon so that I can shoot people
from farther away without the risk of pushing up and getting shot and eliminated

my team in Dubai. We went up against the #1 team at the time and getting that win
felt great. Til this day I can say that speedball is my favorite style of
Descriptive Essay On My Comfort Place
Traveling anywhere can be a hectic experience. Thinking about all of the planning
and the actual flying can make what s supposed to a relaxing trip stressful.
However, traveling somewhere where you don t know anyone with you or the
language where you re going make can amplify the stress. Going to Bali with my
CCS group was something I never thought I would be able to do. The majority of the
trips I ve been on I ve typically gone alone due to my anxiety disorder, so going
somewhere with complete strangers was already out of my comfort zone. However,
I ve always wanted to experienceother cultures and travel to exotic locations, and I
knew to do that knew I had to step out of my comfort zone and select a trip where I
knew nothing about. It turns out selecting Bali for my CCE was the right choice.
This trip allowed us to completely immerse into the culturefor two weeks, and
allowed us to take time to learn it alongside each other. In those two weeks, I learned
that Balinese cultureis a culture very different from our own, and experiencing it was
an enormous culture shock. The first notable difference was the food that was
served. They didn t have access to many of the foods that we typically would ve
eaten back home, or there were foods we ate back home that they simply chose not
to eat. For example, beef is a large portion of the American diet, but due to the
Balinese being Hindu they choose not to consume it and instead they ll typically eat
chicken or fish. However

Human Dominion and Separation from Nature
Other than Native American works, most of the works read for the class seemed
to stem from or at least were influenced by some vein of Christian thinking. This
can t be helped because the western world has been influenced by Christianity for
centuries, and the foundational values still recognized in this country in particular
are protestant, even if they re not blatantly proclaiming the faith. In fact, we even
read through a few chapters of the Bible because the common theme and
justification of human dominion over nature stems from the primary story of the
Bible in Genesis. This theme is often a subject of great sadness or annoyance for
nature writers like Wordsworth and Mary Oliver; while authors like John Muir and
Bill McKibben, whom do profess to the Christian faith, still see nature as something
spiritual because dominion means not just given authority, but also given the
responsibility for its protection. The first chapter of Genesis establishes humanity s
place in God s creation. Verse 26 in particular; Then God said, Let us make
humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion
over the fish of the sea...and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.
The entire verse basically gives human authority over every genus on the planet,
putting us at the top of the food chain as it were (though in the Garden humans were
forbade to eat meat). A lot of people seem to see this verse as one of the causes of
the human superiority
Sleep Deprivation In Newborns
During our coursework over these past few weeks, we have learned a lot about a
newborns characteristics and their development. One of the things that Lola
remembers about her newborn son was that when he slept, he liked to curl up. As
we learned on BabyCenter, newborns appear to be scrunched up because they were
curled up in a fetus position for 9 months. However, as time progress, newborns
slowly begin to stretch out as they learn to use their arms and legs. Sleep deprivation
is common among many new mothers because babies simply cannot sleep throughout
the night. According to WebMD, Newborns need to eat surpasses their need to sleep.
Babies who are breastfeed tend to eat every two hours during the first few months. As
Lola explained, her
Yalta Research Paper
The relations between America and the Russians have never been strong and this
dates back to the times of World War 2 when Russia was known as the communist
Soviet Union. However this was especially prevalent during the decades following
the Second World War when American Soviet tensions were at an all time high and
would eventually lead to what is known as the cold war. Being that the Soviet Union
was a communist nation Americans were becoming ever more worried that
communism could leak into the U.S, this fear lead to one congress member, Joseph

these fears were already spreading into the nation they were only heightened by the

At first it seemed as relations were going well between the Soviets and America,
with both parties agreeing to let the Soviet reclaim land lost by Russia in the Russo
Japanese War, as well as a new international organization known as the United
Nations. The United Nations was the biggest thing to come out of the Yalta
Conference because of the disagreements that would precede this agreement. One of
the first disagreements was in the disagreement between the Soviets and other allied
nations about the future status of the Polish government and whether it would be
democratic or communist. However the government was already pro communist
because of the occupation of Poland by the Soviets and installed the Lublin Poles.
There were still pro Western London Poles and Roosevelt and Churchill agreed that
they must be a place for them inside the Polish control by the Soviets. Stalin would
agree to this and promised that there would be a democratic election that would be
unfettered , but this did not happen until 1989 for the pro Western Poles. Now for
Germany Roosevelt wanted to unify Germany and reconstruct the nation, Stalin
wanted heavy reparation payments because of the damages they caused to the
Soviets during the war. This would lead to a vague agreement that did not
accomplish much in the end much like the Polish agreement did. The rest of the
European nations would produce similar agreements that did not outline much in
their accord and very broad when it comes to democratic representation and
responsibility being on the will of the people of such nations. The Yalta Conference
overall did not accomplish much as for post war issues and did not present set
principles on what would be done with the European nations affected by this great

where they still need diapers and bottles, to the days where they can barely

what helps us understand how we are placed within these stages.

Monochronic Culture And Western Culture In The
Workplace
1. Introduction Have you ever think about you as an eastern people are going to
work in the western country? Do you think you will face a lot of problems not
only the weather but also the culture shock? As we know that western culture and
eastern culture is totally different. Not only the life style but also the working
style. There are many different kinds of examples about the culture in the
workplace. To know all the different culture between your own country and other
country is important, so that we will not offend to other people. Today we are
going look at the different between western country and eastern country. 2. Working
style 2.1 Time focus It is very common to see employees pick up their phones every
time or even during an important meeting. This is a normal thing you can see in a
policeronic culture. Taiwan is polychronic culture, Taiwanese are emphasis on
personal and doing work more flexibility, they are willing to change the deadline
when there is in need. So they can have long term relationship with their colleagues,
managers and partnership. People with monochronic culture are more concentrate on
time and would like to do a thing in one time. They prefer well organized and stick
on their plain. This is how monochronic culture works. (ж–‡еЊЇе ±, 2012) Sweden is
monochronic culture, so employees do not like to be interrupted by phone calls
during the meeting or going to meet others in the meeting. They think this will
influence their working schedule. 2.2
Asbestos Removing Process
If you have asbestos in your home, you need to have it removed. Asbestos was
used in older building materials and can cause a host of serious health issues; it is
not something you should be exposed to on a daily basis. Here are five questions
that you need to ask when looking for an asbestos company to hire:
1. Where Is Asbestos Most Commonly Found?
Asbestos is most commonly found in the following building materials:
heating ductwork
plumbing
wring
fireplace
crawlspace
basement
textured paint
old drywall and plaster
old roofing and siding
Make sure that the asbestos removal company can provide you detailed information
about where asbestos is found. You can make this question even more specific by
asking where asbestos is commonly found in buildings in your area. A highly
qualified company will be able to tell you ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
During their inspection, they should collect samples from any locations in your
house where they suspect that asbestos based products may have been used.
After they collect these samples, they will have to test them before they start the
removal process. Find out how long the delay will be between testing and the start of
the removal process. If you are waiting to move in, this will give you a better time
table of when that will happen. If you already live in your home, it will give you a
good idea of when you should vacate your home and find somewhere else to stay for
a few days while the asbestos is being remove.
3. Do You Have Your Own Testing Lab?
Next, you need to find out if they test the materials themselves or if they send them to
an outside lab. If they test the materials themselves, ask to see their certifications and
licensing to do so.
If they send the samples to an outside lab, ask for information about the lab so you
can follow up and make sure that it is legitimate.
4. How Will You Protect My Home While Removing The
A Brief Biography of Ted Bundy
Terror shocked the United States during the 1970s. More and more women students
suddenly vanished. During a search for the serial killer, investigators could not seem
to find a link to the person doing all these terrible acts. The similarities of the victims
showed that someone smart was behind these events. However, when he was caught,
America learned that not every serial killerfits a certain profile. Ted Bundy, a man
known to many as very smart and interesting, spread his terror throughout the United
States by targeting and murdering young women; using the process perspective, it
was determined that his confusing and horrible upbringing as a youth influenced his
future behavior as a mass murderer. He became one of America s most... Show more

He once didn t know what made people want to be friends with him. He would look
at his family situations and the way they handled things and thought maybe
aggression was a way to solve problems. Lifestyle theory could also play a part in
teds adventure as a serial killer because he didn t really have a functional relationship
with his family members besides his grandparents. He couldn t really be with them
the way he wanted to due to constant moving around. Although people liked Ted and
didn t see anything out of the norm with him he was actually never really normal
mentally due to the lifestyle and upbringing he had.
Ted Bundy is classified as a serial killer. Over a span of three years, Bundy took the
lives of a countless number of people; a number that Bundy has taken to his grave.
Various Bundy experts believe he may have started his killings in his early teenage
life. While he was a teen a twelve year old neighbor disappeared from her house and
it was suspected that Bundy was the cause
Tedd first victim was 18 year old Joni Lenz. Joni was a student at the University of
Washington. While Joni was asleep, Bundy entered her home and beat her with a
crowbar. Bundy then removed a bed rod from janays bed and rammed it into her
vagina. Joni was found lying in a pool of blood suffering from a coma. She was
rushed to the hospital in a Comatose State. Joni survived the
Beethoven and the Classical and Romantic Periods Essay
Out of all of Beethoven s one hundred and ten works, he wrote thirty two piano
sonatas. Of those thirty two piano sonatas, the thirty first piano sonata was one of
the most important and was composed in the year 1821towards the end of
Beethoven s life. It is one of Ludwig van Beethoven s final sonatas for the piano,
given the full name: Piano Sonata No. 31 in A flat major, op. 110. I am writing
about a video performance found on YouTube by Richard Goode in 1993. The
performance piece is a sonata which is defined by Kerman as a chamber music piece
in several movements (Kerman, 427) The thirty first sonata came to be in an
interesting way. Moritz Schlesinger, in the summer of 1819, had made a request to
Ludwig van Beethoven.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The second movement launches itself at 6:48 in the video. Like the end of the first
movement, the second movement is loud. It is sudden and very, very noticeable. The
second movement is also marked allegro because of the quick, lively tempo that it
has. Anyone should be able to easily tell when the first movement transitions into the
second movement. The third movement begins at 8:55 within the video. The third
movement is an orderly part of the piece in which two slow sections of arioso and
two fast fugues alternate with one another. This movement begins with an arioso, and
you can tell because the beginning of it is quite slow especially when compared to
the fast pace ending of the second movement.
This sonata is based on two motifs, both of which you can find within the first
movement. According to author Charles Rosen, these two motifs are ascending or
descending parallel fourths, and rising or falling sixths in scale motion (Rosen, 235).
The most noticeable of these motifs in the sonata are in the recapitulation of the first
movement and in the opening of the second movement which is expressed with a six
note falling scale motif. The ascending or descending parallel fourth motifs are
present in the main themes of the first movement and the fugue and in the popular
theme of the scherzo. The motifs of the rising sixths can be found in the first
movement. The descending motifs which are similar
Reflection On Quantum Leadership
I found this week s modules and reading assignments incredibly helpful and highly
motivating. Numerous concepts struck me as innovative and wise, and I can honestly
say that I anticipate being able to implement the various methods and styles of
effective leadership delineated in the course material. In particular, I am drawn to
Transformational Leadershipas well as the Theory of Quantum Leadership, the latter
being an entirely new concept to me. Introduced in the 1990s, the Theory of Quantum
Leadership posits that effective leaders realize the inevitability and constancy of
change, collaborate with subordinates in the identification and realization of both
goals and opportunities, and empower those around them to be effective and
productive. It is traits such as these that are particularly vital during times of
upheaval, transition, and change. The theory places importance on understanding and
acknowledging the complexities and dynamics of the environment and context, as
this awareness has been found to have a palpable positive effect on productivity,
organization, and more. Indeed, the authors of Leadership Roles and Management

In my dealings with them, I would endeavor to inspire and motivate rather than drive
or dictate. I would recognize that individuals perform best when motivated and when
their personal strengths are cultivated, praised, and utilized. I would strive to focus on
and emphasize their strengths and potential for contribution to the team s efforts.
Once the changes have been implemented, I would be sure to follow up frequently
with the staff in order to identify issues that require tweaking as well as ensure that
the staff feel fully

Persuasive Essay On Animal Rights. Essay About Animals Rights Sitedoct.org

  • 1. Persuasive Essay On Animal Rights Writing a persuasive essay on the topic of animal rights can be quite challenging due to the complex and emotional nature of the subject. The difficulty arises from the need to navigate through various ethical, moral, and scientific aspects, while also addressing the emotional connection that individuals often have with animals. Firstly, one must delve into the ethical considerations surrounding the treatment of animals, exploring different perspectives on whether they have inherent rights and if those rights should be legally protected. This involves an in-depth analysis of philosophical arguments, ranging from utilitarianism to deontology, and the application of these theories to the treatment of animals in various contexts. Addressing the scientific aspect adds another layer of complexity. It requires a comprehensive understanding of animal behavior, cognition, and emotional intelligence. To make a persuasive case, one must draw on credible sources and studies to support the argument for recognizing and protecting the rights of animals based on their capacity to experience pain, suffering, and pleasure. Moreover, considering the emotional connection people have with animals, the essay must appeal to readers' empathy and compassion without veering into overly sentimental territory. Striking the right balance between presenting factual information and eliciting an emotional response is crucial to making a compelling case for animal rights. Additionally, the writer must be aware of the potential for bias and emotional reasoning, addressing counterarguments and presenting a well-rounded perspective. Negotiating through the diverse views on this subject, which may include cultural, religious, and economic considerations, adds another layer of difficulty to the task. In conclusion, crafting a persuasive essay on animal rights requires a nuanced understanding of ethical, scientific, and emotional dimensions. It demands meticulous research, careful consideration of opposing views, and the ability to present a balanced and convincing argument. Despite its challenges, addressing such a crucial and sensitive topic is essential for fostering awareness and driving positive change. These levels are: 1.Individual Level: This level forms the base of the organizational behaviour and is related to the individuals working in an organization. It includes the study of organizational behaviour at the individual level and deals with the perception, personality, learning, motivation and attitudes of the employees in an organization. 2.Group Level: The next level in organizational behaviour is the group level, which includes the study of group formation, team conflict, leadership, power and politics. • 3. Characteristics Of Satan In Paradise Lost In Paradise Lost the character of Satan is created by Milton. There are many characters of Satan in literature, and over the creation of each Satan, he as a character has evolved. It is thought by John Carey that Milton observed the former characters of Satan and used them as inspiration to influence his new character as Satan. Milton created Satan as the author of evil and created him by himself. Satan is the main character throughout Paradise Lostthat starts the story and puts events into motion. As Milton created his Satan he focused on strong characteristics of epic heroes and rhetoric. In Paradise Lost , Milton uses select qualities of an epic hero to be displayed as an epic hero himself. To become an epic hero the character must travel over vast settings to meet the criteria to be an epic hero. Milton created the story in a religious sense which can be seen in the setting too. The setting consists of Earth, Hell, Heaven, and the space between them. Heaven and Hell are complete polar opposites which is in relation to the distance between them. The space between Heaven and Hell is empty space and Earth. Earth represents the middle ground between perfect and imperfect. Satan starts his journey in Hell and must travel through Hell to the far gates out of Hell. And thrice threefold the gates... Yet unconsumed ( II.645 648). His journey began from hell and then once he passed out of the troubling gates of Hell he ended up in a place he had never been before. This was

Post Modernism And Its Influence On Society Post modernism came about in the late 20th century following modernism, which was a period where people had a new found freedom to follow their own path in life, whether it was religion, science, philosophy, art, or really anything they put their mind to as opposed to strictly traditional beliefs. Writers could express their emotions more easily without really feeling a backlash from what everyone else thought. Two female writers who were able to freely express themselves in their writingduring post modernism were Linda Pastan and Sharon Olds. Linda Pastan talked more about her life in general like every day anxieties, her marriage, parenting, and even grief. However, Sharon Olds was a little more controversial in her writing since she often talked about sexuality and violence. Their writing styles were similar in the aspect that they both enjoyed writing based on their own lives, but still very different on how they talked about certain subject matter. Even with different approaches, these two authors were still both very influential on others who wanted to share the same dream. Both authors have had similar educational backgrounds and writing recognition. Pastan Was raised in New York City and attended Radcliffe College. After her graduation, she decided to focus her life on her family and did not return to writing until 10 years later when she was encouraged by her husband to do so. She received awards such as Mademoiselle poetry prize, the Dylan Thomas

During the story of Regarding Henry, the Id and Superego are at a constant warto take control of Henry s lifestyle, causing him to be a mess before and after his accident. Making itself many times throughout the film, his Id drove most of his actions in the movie and get him into trouble multiple times. While his Superego is still active and does work its magic when it is absolutely necessary, most of the time, his Id is in charge. Examples of this are when he was told his daughter was going to school because it was a great opportunity for her and her future and he does not want to her to go as it kept him from seeing her. Eventually he was basically forced to let her go, but he really did not want her to go and tried to convince his wife to not let her go. This shows he is in his natural state of the Id as he wants his daughter to stay at home and never wants her to leave as he enjoys doing things with her. He does not think of the ramifications of this, nearly costing her a bright future of prosperity. Other examples are similar to this, like when quit his job because he did not want to work in that environment or talk to those people. He was not enjoying himself so he quit, which could put him and the rest of his family in a large amount of trouble both financially and emotionally. Quitting his job would cause a large decrease of income to the family, leading to stress, anxiety, and maybe even homelessness if not managed correctly. All of this because he did not want to work as a lawyer. These two

Typically you will use the WACC as your discount rate. Depending on the circumstances, the estimated cash flows may be available for fewer than five years, or more than five years. b.Estimate the PV of the terminal value. One estimate for the terminal value involves assuming perpetual cash flows after the initial time horizon, e.g.: i.If the cash flow after 5 years is expected to grow at a rate g for the foreseeable future: Terminal Value5 (TV5) = FCF6 /(k g) = FCF5 (1+ g) / (k g)., where k is the required rate of return. You must discount the TV to time 0, and then add this to the PV of the FCFs during the projection horizon. ii. If the cash flow at the end of 5 years is not expected to grow, i.e., g=0, then the general formula collapses to the PV of a no growth perpetuity: Terminal Value5 = FCF6 / (k g) = FCF5 (1+ g)/(k g) = FCF5 / k c.Use the Value of the Firm equation above, i.e. sum PV of free cash flows + PV of terminal value . This makes it harder to become lively because people are consistently trying to find happinessoutside of themselves when in

As a form of exercise, yoga is fantastic for improving vitality, thanks to its focus on improving postures and creating harmony between the body and mind. Plank It might look simple, but anyone familiar with yoga knows how difficult Plank can be. This position requires you to hold your body away from the ground while maintaining a straight line with your posture. It is this exact movement that helps to build muscles with repeated exercise. Specifically, it will improve the muscles along your inner core. Plank also requires you to maintain a straight back, stretching your body. A unique benefit of this is giving your muscles the opportunity to adapt around your bone structure. This is vital along your back, as it allows your muscle mass to develop and not interfere with your collarbone or shoulder blades. Such benefits are often ignored when weightlifting alone, so Plank can be a useful gap filling tool in many exercise regimes. Apart from developing a firm, toned stomach, Plank has also been shown to help reduce back pain. For added variety, you can also add Side Planks into your workout. These offer the same benefits, only for the muscles found along the side of the body. 2. Culture is something developed over time by a group of people not just created by one person. Referring back to gender role in society this was not something that humans were born with but it was created and reinforced over long period of time. Now more recently we can see these behaviors changing where women work more, men help with chores, and the roles are starting to merge. Culture also has a way of shaping one s view and values in the world. Culture also shapes our behavior and our reason for doing certain things which is known as cultural behavior. The difficult thing about cultures is that no two cultures are the same so it is not a one size fits all. You have to take time to learn each culture and some cultures you will fit in better into than others. This is like a work place have that has developed a culture that constantly changes as new employees come and old one leave. People are constantly pressured to change their bodies due to the standards of society and they are willing to do anything to achieve this body of perfection. Many people start with diets, but these diets do not have fast enough results, so they turn to starvation, eating disorders, and extreme workouts. Among women, internalization of the thin ideal has been linked to dietary restraint that may precede eating disorders. Among men, internalization of the muscular ideal has been associated with various strategies to increase muscularity (Gudnadottir 151). Reaching the goal of society starts off as a simple diet. When the diet does not have fast enough results, things become more extreme. Women start to starve themselves by only eating once a day or only eating salad and not gaining all the nutrients and vitamins their body needs to survive. They call this being healthy. Men, on the other hand, begin to increase their serving sizes and go on an all protein diet to try to gain as much muscle mass as possible. This is followed by extreme weight lifting at the gym, and sometimes can lead to the use of steroids. In severe cases, men and women both begin to develop eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa and binge eating. Men and women do not realize the toll these extreme measures take on their bodies. They think by becoming this way they are being healthy and improving their overall health, but in reality, they are harming their bodies. However, these practices could increase the

Organic Food And Organic Foods Introduction with Industry Overview: Organic food has continuously been seen as the healthy choice but only in recent years has the concept become a world over phenomenon. Earlier, organic food was somewhat of a fad and although the principles were practiced, it was by no means highlighted. The argument on whether the organic food products can be bought online and are really organic has gained enormous magnitudes in not only Pakistan but all over the world. People are dealing with issues of what is safe and fresh to buy online, what is clean and what is not, what food processing is hard to animals and soil and what is more viable. To resolve these issues, many people are moving towards organic food products. As per the World of Organic Agriculture study, the organic food products market has been rising at the rate of 20 25% per annum for the last decade. The food situation in Pakistan also needs immediate attention mainly due to no or very low compliance with standards and lack of monitoring. Though many people seem to be savvy on the issues involved, at least to some extent, the online market for nontoxic, cleaner, organic products in the country is still very limited. Are people responsive to the differences between organic and conventional foods? Do they have access to them? Do buyers and sellers have different view points on the availability, prices and value of organic foods? Do they have multiple options to choose from? Will they buy online? This report is

Child A saw what I was doing and walked towards me. Child A, come and see what I am cooking , I said. She took the saucepan with the lid that was on the stove, sat down on the floor and put the saucepan down. She held on to the lid, opened it and closed it. I handed her the spoon that I was using and I took the pot and the spatula and showed her how to stir. This is how we stir, Child A , I said. She started pounding the saucepan using the spoon that I gave her, making sounds. Child B heard the sound that Child A was making and saw what we are doing. Child B was looking at the pot and the saucepan that was on the floor as she crawls toward us. She sat on the floor beside me and opened and closed the pot twice. I opened my eyes wide and smiled, Wow Child B you are making sounds! , I said. Child B looked at me and smiled back. I gave her the spatula and assisted her hand on how to stir. I took the kettle and the cups and put it on the floor. I sang, This is the way we pour our drink and pretended that I was from the cup. Child A took the other cup and drank from it. Uh oh! The Art Of Paul Cezanne Introduction Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso were both profoundly influenced by the art of Paul CГ©zanne, somewhat ironically since the latter is reported to have been quite uncertain of his artistic contributions and anxious about his legacies (Merleau Ponty, 1945). Picasso described CГ©zanne as my one and only master ; while Matisse noted that it is undoubtedly to CГ©zanne that I owe the most . The Large Bathers was one of two final paintings produced by CГ©zanne in 1906, the year of his death. At this stage Matisse had acquired a reputation as an upcoming artistic leader via an exhibition in 1905 (Bio, n.d. #1); while Picasso was a 25 year old prodigy who had already secured lucrative patronage (Bio, n.d. #2). The three paintings of interest must be considered in the context of their artists evolution. To examine the relationship between the three paintings, I will first briefly summarise the artistic trends of the day to provide context, then examine The Large Bathers. I will then compare and contrast Matisse s Bonheur de Vivre and Picasso s Les Demoiselles d Avignon, both with The Large Bathers and with each other. Europe, 1906 The turn of a century brings with it opportunities for reflection about the old and wonder about the new along with both excitement and trepidation. At the entry to the twentieth century, social and technological change were continuing at historically unprecedented pace. The signs and pressures of development were all around and Europe was

The Effects Of Inequality On Sex Roles In Society In its early years socialization theory was use by Talcott Parsons (1942) to explain how early childhood behaviors are shaped to fit the sex roles later expect from them by society. These masculine and feminine roles and tasks are put in place to accomplish all market, non market and forced work. However, I question if other social statuses ascribed to members of a society can be modified or even eliminate the expected portrayal of these sex roles . Coined by Kimberle Crenshaw (1993), intersectionality is the way in which multiple forms of inequality intersect; such as race, class, gendersexuality and disability. It is my belief that we best see the effects of intersectionality on sex roles in institutions of home, work and school. Within my lifetime, I have unconsciously subscribed to the roles considered natural of my gender but my culture (urbanity) and ethnicity (African American) has allowed me to break or reshape how I efficiently do gender. Equating characteristics of my femininity are thought to be physical attractiveness and nurturing. Due to my affiliation with both a minority culture and ethnicity I fall into a structure of society, which is often oppressed through the embossment of society s dominant group privileging their own interests. Through cognitive development theory in the home, school and work I took part in active roles to develop my gender identity. It was superiors and caretakers who behaviors gave me competency of my femininity with

  • 19. The Species Of Homo Neanderthalensis Essay 1.Introduction: The Paleo species of Homo neanderthalensis have been the subject of debate since their discovery in 1829. Even in the early beginnings, the scientific research concerning this early hominin species has been debated, and it was not until 1864 that the first Homo neanderthalensis was recognized as an early hominin fossil (citation). Fortunately, progress has been made into piecing back together the history of Homo neanderthalensis. However, there are still significant questions that remain unanswered; a broad example of one of those questions is what was the contributing factor to their extinction. Fortunately, there has been a significant amount of research done which pertained to them not being able to adapt to the changing climate on the latter half of the Pleistocene or were out competed by anatomically modern humans either by technology and cultural adaptation or even interbreeding. These theories could potentially explain their extinction because each one explored a different aspect of Neanderthal life. L. DalГ©n et al. theorized low mDNA, or mitochondrial DNA, which is only passed down through the maternal lineage through generations, was caused by the climate change in the latter half of the Pleistocene, about 58 thousand years ago, which predated the arrival of anatomically modern humans. While another theory suggested that, slightly before the extinction of the Neanderthals globally, anatomically modern humans interbred with Neanderthals on

One of the Advancements is that related to crop husbandry in apple production. Apple production through the naturalized methods has been deemed with low productivity and negative effects from the environment and other related avenues in the environment. In order to assure of increased productivity in the environment, it is necessary to make firm considerations of the fact that increased productivity is the main and urgent issue in the world. Therefore, many modification activities and processes have been involved in production of the apple crop and other farming activities in the world. The basic idea of making use of the natural and modified avenues is to assure increased productivity that does not have to be reliant on the general methods and avenues of productivity in the environment (Dris et al, 6 8). Varieties of breeds commonly used in modern agriculture and why Several breeds of the apple crop are used in modern agriculture. Some of the consideration made by growers in the market includes good dessert quality, long shelf life, resistance to diseases and pest and tolerance to drought conditions besides high productivity. By comparing different methods and using them on the same problems we will be able to find out if and where different methods will be suited to different functions. In some instances one method may not work because it is may not be able to find a descending path to follow hence unable to find a minimizer, or possibly one method may take and ascending path firstly so it could descend. By the end of this research I will be able to recognise such conditions and restraints when applying a method to a function problem, as well as being able to use a correct method of optimization and picking one with a high order of convergence to obtain a minimizer as quickly as possible. Due to there being multiple dimensions I will also look at when there is only one dimension to worry about, these methods will include the Secant, Bisection and Fibonacci Methods, by looking at these I can show my opinion on what would be the best type of method if the function problem was in only one dimension, as perhaps a method which can be used for n dimensions may have unnecessary work for a problem with a single dimension, I will do multiple comparisons between the one dimension methods and then with methods that are used for multiple dimensions,

Isaac Asiman describes an assumption in a visual way. When people make an assumption, their view of the world becomes dimmer and darker. The window will get more tainted and the outside world won t be as clear as it used to be. Their windows will be completely dark until all they can see is their reflections staring back at them with wondering eyes. The individual has been so sure of themselves that they didn t realize the world was slipping away into a dimming light. Now, all they are left with is darkness. Everyone has been pushed away by that individual s vision of how things are ought to be. It s until that they see their own reflection do they see that the world has closed off. • 26. God s Salvation For Us Before starting the exploration of discerning God s predestined plan of salvation for us, we have to understand a little bit about his own nature, attributes and characteristics. With our limited mind, we cannot fully comprehend or define Him, but based on the scripture verses that we have, we can observe some of His essences and attributes. His divine essences are revealed in the Scripture through His love, holiness and righteousness. Some theologians, who tried to understand God s nature, also agree about some basic attributes like the sovereignty, the omnipotence, the omnipresence and the omniscience of God. Having an accurate understanding of all these characteristics of God will help us to build this study on a solid platform. The sovereignty of God tells us that He has unlimited authority over His Creation. The fact that God is sovereign and love, at the same time, gives us the confidence about the fulfillment of His promises to us. God s Omnipotence guarantees us His power to fulfill all His promises. God showed His absolute power through His Creation and his redeeming plan of salvation. Apostle Paul describes how his power is proved through Christ s resurrection by writing His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when He raised Christ from the dead (Ephesians 1:19 20). The omnipresence and omniscience of God help us feel safe and confident that God is in control; He is everywhere in the same time
  • 27. Advantages And Disadvantages Of EHR Some pitfalls EHR No system is perfect. While EHR has benefits over the traditional pen and paper it also has pitfalls. The cost of implementing Alberta s new clinical information system over a 10 year period is estimated at approximately $1.6 billion (Office of the Auditor General of Alberta, 2017). Why are we spending all this money into building a new EHR while we already have an existing system in every province and region? Some of the disadvantages listed below will answer why there is a need for a new EHR in the province. *** Add Interoperability Interoperability is the ability of systems to work together within and across organizational boundaries (HIMSS, 2013). It is not just the ability to exchange health information but includes the ability to understand what is being executed. Some EHRs doesn t follow the standards for compatibility and the information fails to follow the patient as the patient moves through the system(Canada Health Infoway Inc., 2006). Patients will endure repetitive tests, scans, narration of allergies and family history of chronic disease every time they switch care provider since the clinical information is trapped within the boundaries of their previous health setting. At present AHS have 1,300+ different systems in use across the province which are not efficient at exchanging and interpreting patient information(AHS, 2017). The present systems which fails talking to each other is an example of disparate and inoperable system. Hence,

Meursault s lack of emotions is first seen in his actions at his mother s vigil. The novel begins with Meursault stating Maman died today. Or yesterday maybe, I don t know. (1) One could try to justify this uncertainty by saying that Meursault is grieving and cannot be expected to remember everything except that as the novel progresses, it becomes clear that Meursault is just plain indifferent when he smokes during the vigil because it didn t matter (10) and says his mother was fairly (16) old because he does not know her actual age. In not knowing how old Madame Meursault was or when she died, and in smoking when he should have been grieving, Meursault reveals himself to be a phlegmatic character who could not care less about the fact that his mother just passed. When he chooses to smoke at the vigil, he betrays his own attitude about his mother s death, that it did not actually matter or faze him in any way, a mindset typically viewed as abnormal. In a further show of idiosyncrasy, when his mother dies, rather than expand, Meursault makes a prison of his apartment by confining himself to one room. With Madame Meursault

While he does temporarily decide to fight the limiting influences of a material society that ostracizes individuality opposed to its established norms, Babbitt does revert back to his unquestioning superficial self once he recognizes that having original thoughts and acting on them is isolating, unprofitable and even dangerous. Babbitt is supposed to represent the ordinary human being, the average businessman and upwardly mobile middle class America. However, Babbitt seems more artifice than genuine human being. Like the ads that sell Americans products, Babbitt has forged an identity that was imposed on him by the dominant forces of democratic capitalism, Just as he was an Elk, a Booster, a member of the Chamber of Commerce, just as the priests of the Presbyterian Church determined his every religious belief, and the senators who controlled the Republican Part decided in little smoky rooms in Washington what he should think about disarmament, tariffs, and Germany, so did the large national advertisers fix the surface of his life, fix what he believed to be his individuality. Human Dominion and Separation from Nature Other than Native American works, most of the works read for the class seemed to stem from or at least were influenced by some vein of Christian thinking. This can t be helped because the western world has been influenced by Christianity for centuries, and the foundational values still recognized in this country in particular are protestant, even if they re not blatantly proclaiming the faith. In fact, we even read through a few chapters of the Bible because the common theme and justification of human dominion over nature stems from the primary story of the Bible in Genesis. This theme is often a subject of great sadness or annoyance for nature writers like Wordsworth and Mary Oliver; while authors like John Muir and Bill McKibben, whom do profess to the Christian faith, still see nature as something spiritual because dominion means not just given authority, but also given the responsibility for its protection. The first chapter of Genesis establishes humanity s place in God s creation. Verse 26 in particular; Then God said, Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea...and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. The entire verse basically gives human authority over every genus on the planet, putting us at the top of the food chain as it were (though in the Garden humans were forbade to eat meat). One of the first disagreements was in the disagreement between the Soviets and other allied nations about the future status of the Polish government and whether it would be democratic or communist. Now for Germany Roosevelt wanted to unify Germany and reconstruct the nation, Stalin wanted heavy reparation payments because of the damages they caused to the Soviets during the war. This would lead to a vague agreement that did not accomplish much in the end much like the Polish agreement did. The rest of the European nations would produce similar agreements that did not outline much in their accord and very broad when it comes to democratic representation and responsibility being on the will of the people of such nations. The Yalta Conference overall did not accomplish much as for post war issues and did not present set principles on what would be done with the European nations affected by this great

We all go through the stages in life where we learn to walk, communicate, and trust. How easy we are influenced and how we feel internally is what helps us understand how we are placed within these stages. • 48. Beethoven and the Classical and Romantic Periods Essay Out of all of Beethoven s one hundred and ten works, he wrote thirty two piano sonatas. Of those thirty two piano sonatas, the thirty first piano sonata was one of the most important and was composed in the year 1821towards the end of Beethoven s life. It is one of Ludwig van Beethoven s final sonatas for the piano, given the full name: Piano Sonata No. 31 in A flat major, op. 110. I am writing about a video performance found on YouTube by Richard Goode in 1993. The performance piece is a sonata which is defined by Kerman as a chamber music piece in several movements (Kerman, 427) The thirty first sonata came to be in an interesting way. Moritz Schlesinger, in the summer of 1819, had made a request to Ludwig van Beethoven.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The second movement launches itself at 6:48 in the video. Like the end of the first movement, the second movement is loud. It is sudden and very, very noticeable. The second movement is also marked allegro because of the quick, lively tempo that it has. Anyone should be able to easily tell when the first movement transitions into the second movement. The third movement begins at 8:55 within the video. The third movement is an orderly part of the piece in which two slow sections of arioso and two fast fugues alternate with one another. This movement begins with an arioso, and you can tell because the beginning of it is quite slow especially when compared to the fast pace ending of the second movement. This sonata is based on two motifs, both of which you can find within the first movement. According to author Charles Rosen, these two motifs are ascending or descending parallel fourths, and rising or falling sixths in scale motion (Rosen, 235). The most noticeable of these motifs in the sonata are in the recapitulation of the first movement and in the opening of the second movement which is expressed with a six note falling scale motif. The ascending or descending parallel fourth motifs are present in the main themes of the first movement and the fugue and in the popular theme of the scherzo. The motifs of the rising sixths can be found in the first movement. The descending motifs which are similar

Numerous concepts struck me as innovative and wise, and I can honestly say that I anticipate being able to implement the various methods and styles of effective leadership delineated in the course material. In particular, I am drawn to Transformational Leadershipas well as the Theory of Quantum Leadership, the latter being an entirely new concept to me. Introduced in the 1990s, the Theory of Quantum Leadership posits that effective leaders realize the inevitability and constancy of change, collaborate with subordinates in the identification and realization of both goals and opportunities, and empower those around them to be effective and productive. It is traits such as these that are particularly vital during times of upheaval, transition, and change. The theory places importance on understanding and acknowledging the complexities and dynamics of the environment and context, as this awareness has been found to have a palpable positive effect on productivity, organization, and more.
