Speaking with old English as his first language, Shakespeare portrayed a story. Tragedies, Much
Ado About Nothing is a comedy, which uplifts spirits as it circles the lives of Hero, Claudio,
Beatrice, Don John, and Benedick. Love, trickery, and deception are motifs used to develop a
theme relatable to years later. Using loveas a basis tricks are placed everywhere in the Italian town
of Messina to spark the interest of two or to ruin the love. In Much ado About Nothing, William
Shakespeare s explores the motif of deception, and how nothing is as it seems, connected to the
human nature for people of love, deception is neither always good or always detrimental, it is
how it is portrayed. Deception, at first glance, appears as a word usually in a negative tone, but
in times the act of deception is used to benefit the characters lives. Nevertheless, Shakespeare
allowed for deception to be played with when the characters never expected it. In of Much Ado
About Nothing, deception is used in the way to help others. As an example, in Act 2 Scene 1 a
ball took place where all the men and women were to dress in guises. Don Pedro, the prince, agreed

Summary Of Le Fresne And Bisclavret
As seen with the first two lais, Guigemar and Equitan , Marie uses the lais to express her opinions
on righteous and unrighteous love. However, unlike Guigemar and Equitan , the next two lais in
her collection, Le Fresne and Bisclavret , are not as straightforward in their approaches to righteous
and unrighteous love. Whereas in Equitan there was the warning that those who resemble the
king should take warning of his end, in Le Fresne and Bisclavret there is not such a didactic
lesson on the morality or immorality of love. Instead, Marie utilizes the slightly convoluted
natures of the next two lais to surprise the readers with the outcomes of the stories and to further
emphasize the complicated nature of love. In order to more easily draw on the comparisons
between Le Fresne and Bisclavret , the lais will be broken up into how the relationships begin,
how the lovers face trials, and how the relationships reach their final outcomes. Romantic
relationships are not the only type of loving relationships that Marie discusses in her lais. As is
the case with the third lai, Le Fresne , the main romantic relationship does not appear until a third
of the way into Marie s telling of the lai. While the romantic relationship is essential to the story

In Our Town each person has their own attitude and feelings about Emily and George getting
