married man, and father to several children, and Ezri who is a Yeshiva student and a
stranger to the community. The protagonist, Aaron, hires the stranger to work in the
butcher shop, and Ezri brings Aaron to the Yeshiva to study the Torah

The advertisement that I have decided to describe and analyze is one from Armani
Code, a cologne producing company. When I first glanced at the advertisement, there
were a few things that jumped out to me. The first of those things was an attractive

Intrinsic And Extrinsic Motivations
4.What motivates you extrinsically? What are your intrinsic motivations? How do
you balance extrinsic and intrinsic motivation in your life?
In terms of extrinsic motivations, I think that I am motivated by praise, reputation,
and financial gain. While money is not the most important aspect of a career, I
would like to earn a salary that helps me maintain a modest living. Being self aware,
I realize that I want a career where I can help others, which is an intrinsic motivation.
This is another reason why I was unhappy in my accounting co op position,
because it was very difficult for me to accomplish tasks that didn t help others. As a
result, I wouldn t take a lucrative job offer if it didn t provide me with benevolent
job responsibilities. In order to balance my intrinsic and extrinsic motivations, I think
that compromise is key. Since life s challenges can interfere with one s morals, I
realize that it may be difficult to compromise in certain situations. However, I think
that success in the business world ultimately stems from ethical actions, because it
will cultivate trust within your customers. As a result, my goal is to work for
companies who care about their stakeholders, because the results will pay off in the
long run.
Not to sound like a millennial clichГ©, but I want my work to be meaningful for
others and myself. This objective stems from my intrinsic motivations, but praise
from colleagues, superiors, and customers will ensure that my work is meaningful.

A Field Of Forces Within The Field
As Bourdieu pointed out, no cultural product exists by itself, i.e., outside the relations
of interdependence which link it to other products (Bourdieu, 1993: p. 32). These
goods are also produced under specific conditions, not in a vacuum. This assumption
is valid to art, literature, but also to journalismas a massive cultural production, like
Bourdieu and other authors had demonstrated (Benson Neveu, 2005; Benson, 2006;

diverse even opposite interests, forces, and strategies struggling to dominate what

Bourdieu defines it as a field of forces within which the agents occupy positions that
statistically determine the positions they take with respect to the field, these
positions taking being aimed either at conserving or transforming the structure of
relations of forces that is constitutive of the field... it is the site of actions and
reactions performed by social agents endowed with permanent dispositions, partly
