Objective
Show you the written form of the personal
pronouns, how to use them, and their
pronunciations
Personal pronouns represent specific people
or things. We use them depending on:
Number
Singular: I, you, he, she, it
Plural: we, you, they
Person
1st: I, we
2nd: you
3rd: he, she, it, they
Gender
Male: he
Female: she
Neuter: it
My name is Josef but when I am
talking about myself I almost
always use "I" or "me", not
"Josef". When I am talking direct
to you, I almost always use "you",
not your name. When I am talking
about another person, say John, I
may start with "John" but then
use "he" or "him". And so on.
We use personal pronouns in place of the
person or people that we are talking about.

An object pronoun is a type of personal
pronoun that is normally used as a
grammatical object, either as the direct
or indirect object of a verb, or as the
object of a preposition. These
pronouns always take the objective
case, whether they are indirect object
pronouns or direct object pronouns.
