This document discusses the different cases of pronouns in English: nominative, objective, and possessive. It provides examples for each case using the first, second, and third person pronouns. The nominative case is used when a pronoun is the subject of a sentence. The objective case is used when a pronoun is the object of a verb or preposition. The possessive case indicates ownership and is formed by adding an apostrophe + s.

substances in ocean water is salt.
o The guilty person is he who cannot look
at another in the eye.

4. Objective case
a pronoun is in objective case when
it is used as an object of a verb or
an object of preposition.

5. Example:
Dorothy invited me.
The accreditors gave us their comments.
Jessie went with (them, they).
Give the envelope to him.

6. Possessive case
a pronoun that shows ownership
is in the possessive case.

7. Example:
This book is mine.
Jhona is a friend of ours.
Is that bat kite yours or his?
