The document discusses performance support and its importance in enabling employees to perform at their best. It defines performance support as an orchestrated set of services providing on-demand access to integrated resources enabling high-level job performance with minimal support. It outlines key principles for designing performance support, including making resources available within 2 clicks and 10 seconds of needing them and tailoring support to specific job roles and contexts. Examples are given of companies effectively implementing performance support. The document argues for an integrated approach combining performance support, training and other resources.
Learning professionals face challenges to keep pace with the speed in which valued skills and capabilities are sweeping the workforce. During this session, you will learn how Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina’s evidence-based approach is positioning us to reduce learning cost, improve stakeholder satisfaction, align to value-based business outcomes and gain efficiencies.
Congratulations! You’ve developed the greatest training program ever. The content is ideally suited to your business problems, the technology works, and the employees seem to like it. There’s only one problem… nobody knows what to do with it when they return to their jobs.
If that’s not a nightmare scenario for a training professional, we don’t know what is!
Ultimately, we need our employees to learn, retain, and then apply what they learn to improve their knowledge and skills and reach higher levels of performance. That’s the goal. But how many times do we fail to see the ROI we expect? How many times do we see well-executed content NOT applied on the job? How many times do we have to go back to the CFO and explain why the ROI we expected never materialized.
Kristi McNabb, Revenue Operations Manager at BizLibrary, will help you discover how and when employees apply learning to improve their job performance, explain the role managers play in helping employees retain training and drive ROI, and help you understand how microlearning can be a great tool to help employees in their moment of need.
During this webinar, Kristi will provide easy-to-understand insights on:
- How to help employees apply their learning and improve job performance
- A manager’s role in employee retention and training ROI
- How microlearning is a great tool for helping employees acquire skills just when they need them
- ... and much more!

Many organizations are facing a potentially disastrous drain on top talent as an increasing number of employees approach retirement. Unfortunately, most employers don’t have strategic-level initiatives in place to capture and retain the knowledge that's about to leave, and they don't have replacement talent ready to step into leadership as these roles open up.
Employers also feel they can't engage and retain early career talent long enough to fill leadership roles…but what if you approached the whole challenge a little bit differently? What if you looked at creative ways to tap into the vast talent pool of our emerging leaders today, and not wait until we promote them into designated leadership positions?
In this webinar you'll learn:
- 5 best practices to unlock the hidden value in your emerging leaders
- The business impact of investing in your current talent
- How to approach leadership with an intelligent, forward-thinking outlook that will return excellent results and inspire others

HCI Webinar: Changing a Company Culture, One Technological Performance Module...Cornerstone OnDemand
Sometimes the best systems aren’t all in place when it comes to talent management. Processes may need improvement and people likely want more support, but a knowledge gap and lack of experience in change management blocks companies from adopting the finest practices and implementing helpful technology. Success, as seen by leaders, is achieved by doing what works best for the business. Top managers take on the constant task of determining how to make each process more efficient and improve what’s needed to maximize productivity.
You’ve built a brand, a solid business, and a great team. However, there’s more to your company’s success: Knowledge Management (KM) is a critical component of a systematic, scalable business. Being intentional with KM is, in fact, the foundation of a sustainable businesses model that breeds success.
Knowledge Management can be daunting if you’re not familiar with it or haven’t begun the process – but it doesn’t have to be! As the organizational strategy for creating, using, storing, and managing information in your company, KM is crucial to business success. In this webinar, we’ll go over the basic Knowledge Management framework, how to begin prioritizing KM efforts, and how to build organization-wide best practices for internal KM. We’ll go over what KM really is, why it’s important to have a KM philosophy for your organization, and what you can get started on today.
*Note: These slides were presented on a webinar hosted by TruppHR and led/designed by Kristen Gallagher of Edify Education Design. They may be used and shared with attribution.
Yes, I still do KM and KM is not dead. I thought I would share the basic deck that I use in workshops that are part of my KM Assessment and Strategy consulting practice. In addition to interviews, surveys, and inventories, it is important during a KM assessment to educate and engage the organization.

Climbing the Learning Curve for Performance Support Project RookiesChristopher King
There are critical first steps to take when designing a Performance Support solution that fits both the needs and culture of your organization. We examine valuable lessons for anyone launching their first performance support solution, and study lessons from other first-time performance support efforts that reinforce the importance of a client champion, and the consequences of not clearly explaining what you're doing and why. This is based on my experience as a PM and conversations with other PMs on things they will definitely repeat, and things they don’t want to do ever again.
Whether you're lucky enough to be the first to run a performance support project, or just engaged in grassroots guerrilla performance support, this presentation introduces some of the basic skills and approaches anyone can use to get started with a performance support project.

Up the Ratios Bylaws - a Comprehensive Process of Our Organizationuptheratios
Up the Ratios is a non-profit organization dedicated to bridging the gap in STEM education for underprivileged students by providing free, high-quality learning opportunities in robotics and other STEM fields. Our mission is to empower the next generation of innovators, thinkers, and problem-solvers by offering a range of educational programs that foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
At Up the Ratios, we believe that every student, regardless of their socio-economic background, should have access to the tools and knowledge needed to succeed in today's technology-driven world. To achieve this, we host a variety of free classes, workshops, summer camps, and live lectures tailored to students from underserved communities. Our programs are designed to be engaging and hands-on, allowing students to explore the exciting world of robotics and STEM through practical, real-world applications.
Our free classes cover fundamental concepts in robotics, coding, and engineering, providing students with a strong foundation in these critical areas. Through our interactive workshops, students can dive deeper into specific topics, working on projects that challenge them to apply what they've learned and think creatively. Our summer camps offer an immersive experience where students can collaborate on larger projects, develop their teamwork skills, and gain confidence in their abilities.
In addition to our local programs, Up the Ratios is committed to making a global impact. We take donations of new and gently used robotics parts, which we then distribute to students and educational institutions in other countries. These donations help ensure that young learners worldwide have the resources they need to explore and excel in STEM fields. By supporting education in this way, we aim to nurture a global community of future leaders and innovators.
Our live lectures feature guest speakers from various STEM disciplines, including engineers, scientists, and industry professionals who share their knowledge and experiences with our students. These lectures provide valuable insights into potential career paths and inspire students to pursue their passions in STEM.
Up the Ratios relies on the generosity of donors and volunteers to continue our work. Contributions of time, expertise, and financial support are crucial to sustaining our programs and expanding our reach. Whether you're an individual passionate about education, a professional in the STEM field, or a company looking to give back to the community, there are many ways to get involved and make a difference.
We are proud of the positive impact we've had on the lives of countless students, many of whom have gone on to pursue higher education and careers in STEM. By providing these young minds with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed, we are not only changing their futures but also contributing to the advancement of technology and innovation on a broader scale.

Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.
