Factors Influencing Overall Job Satisfaction Level of Teachers in Erode DistrictDr. Amarjeet Singh
Traditionally, teaching was a combination of information-dispensing, custodial child care and sorting out academically inclined students from others. The underlying model for schools was an education factory in which adults, paid hourly or daily wages, kept like-aged youngsters sitting still for standardized lessons and tests.Teachers were told what, when, and how to teach. They were required to educate every student in exactly the same way and were not held responsible when many failed to learn. They were expected to teach using the same methods as past generations, and any deviation from traditional practices was discouraged by supervisors or prohibited by myriad education laws and regulations. Thus, many teachers simply stood in front of the class and delivered the same lessons year after year, growing gray and weary of not being allowed to change what they were doing. The present study focuses on factors influencing overall job satisfaction level of teachers in Erode district.

Abstract:
Organizational change can produce a number of positive and negative emotional responses. This study uses the Theory of Emotional Contagion (Hatfield, Cacioppo & Rapson, 1993) where negative as well as positive feelings can be transferred to others. The aims of the study are to examine the effects of perception on technological change, leadership change and structural change towards students’ emotions; and to analyze the mediating effect of experience on perception and emotion resulting from organizational changes. The study employs the quantitative research design using the survey method with the self-administered questionnaire. A total of 223 respondents was collected from among the undergraduate students at a faculty in a public university who have faced organizational changes (technological, leadership and structural). Results reveal that perceptions of technology, leadership and structural changes are found to have moderate effects on students’ emotions. However, experiences of change partially mediate students’ emotion and perception of technological, leadership and structural changes. Experience with organizational changes affects students’ emotions badly. This implies that the Emotional Contagion Theory holds true for organizational changes as the hypotheses are supported.

Research is a 21st century skill to develop. The learning competencies must be well taught as the basic step prior to research paper writing. However, teacher delivered factual material thru rote memorization is often tedious and boring resulting to low retention of concepts and low MPS. In this pre experimental research, gamification was used as instructional strategy to motivate the students and to increase their academic performance. One hundred thirty two 132 students from 3 intact classes of General Academic Strand GAS and 97 students from 2 intact classes of Technical Vocational and Livelihood TVL were used as the subject of the games while convenience sampling was used to select the students to give feedbacks about the strategy. Pretest posttests questions were validated by three research experts while perception questionnaire was adopted from Alfabeto 2010 to gather the students’ feedback about the strategy. Pretest was administered at the onset of 2nd grading period and 3 weeks after, the posttest was administered. Results revealed that pretest MPS of both GAS and TVL did not meet expectations with 41.54 and 38.54 respectively while after the treatment, the posttest MPS revealed outstanding with 90.69 for GAS and very satisfactory for TVL with MPS of 85.45 . T test revealed that there were significant increase in the MPS of both GAS and TVL with a p value of 0.00. Attitude Formation of Benefits Satisfaction: Knowledge and Fit of BenefitsWaqas Tariq
Using the theoretical framework of the Theory of Reasoned Action [6], we examine benefits satisfaction as an attitude formed by the beliefs about benefits (i.e., benefits knowledge) and the perceived value of these benefits (i.e., fit of benefits to individual needs). We use questionnaires to gather data from a random sample of 591 employees in a large county agency in the South-eastern United States. The data support that knowledge of benefits is associated with enhanced benefits satisfaction and mediates the effect of explanations about benefits on satisfaction. The results provide strong evidence that benefits perceived to suit employee needs generate highest benefits satisfaction. Employees satisfied with their benefits are less likely to consider leaving the organization. The tested model is a starting point for future studies to apply the extended Theory of Reasoned Action [1] and incorporate perceived behavioural control and subjective norms (i.e., co-workers’ attitudes) in forming benefits satisfaction. Understanding employees’ affective and cognitive reactions to compensation, including benefits, can render better practices. Companies should use information campaigns to improve employee beliefs about benefits. Better attentiveness to individual needs and preferences can maximize the utility of a benefits plan and improve its acceptance. We replicate and extend past research in a parsimonious model of benefits satisfaction with a random sample of public sector employees.
Banking and Government Sectors in North Nigeria: A Comparative Study on Work ...inventionjournals
Introduction and Purpose: The research at hand explores employee motivation in Nigerian context with banking and government sectors as the backdrop. Contemporary organizations have put much emphasis to understand the dynamics of job performance, the impact of intrinsic rewards and training on employees and the intertwined relationship they have with motivation, which the present study tries to explain. This is specially so because a happy and motivated worker is an efficient performer. Methodology: Set in North Eastern part of Nigeria a sample size of 146 employees which included 88 from government organizations and 58 from private banking sector were taken up for the study through nonprobability convenience sampling method. The data collection instrument gathered the demographic profile of the respondents while information for other above mentioned variables was drawn together through different Likert type scales employed in earlier researches. Cronbach’s Alpha values were put to confirm the validity of the instrument, moreover Pearson Correlations, Pearson Chi Square Test, One Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Levene Statistics, Games-Howell Test, Simple Means, Standard Deviation and Percentages were additional data analysis tools. Findings: The comparative analysis of bank and government employees vis-à-vis variables tested gave out findings which were similar as well as different for these two sectors. Government employees were found to be more motivated, having positive views on intrinsic rewards and training that they received, which was in sharp contrast to banking professionals. Despite being less motivated bankers nonetheless were better performing job wise than their government sector counterparts. Age and income also had affect on the above mentioned independent variables for the employees surveyed. Originality, Limitation and Implication: The novelty aspect of the study is sustained right from the initial research on the topic, continuing with theory level/conceptual framework, literature review to findings. Despite the research having resource crunch is unique in the manner that no such work in has been carried out in North Eastern part of Nigeria, the area which is vastly uncharted. The study is likely to fuel academic and scholarly pursuits in future studies which are similar in nature, it can be a guiding light to human resource practitioners in the corporate world as well as researchers in the field of management.
Relationship between Talent Management and Productivity of the Secondary Scho...Premier Publishers
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) introduced teacher appraisal policy in 2012, and teacher’s PA and development in 2016 to address poor teacher productivity. However, teacher productivity remained poor in most schools in Kisumu County. Prior studies done around talent management concentrated on aspects of talent management like the tools and systems of appraisal but did not explore the effect of talent management in terms of the retention, training development and career management, leading to a lack of evidence on the effect of talent management on the relationship between PA and teacher productivity. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Talent management and productivity of the secondary school teachers in Kisumu County. The study was guided by Expectancy theory. A cross-sectional correlational survey design was employed on 1647 teachers from which 312 teachers were selected using simple random sampling technique. Data was collected using questionnaires and interview schedules. Reliability of the instrument was achieved test retest where an overall reliability value of 0.81 was achieved whilst expert reviews were used to test the content validity. The study found that talent management had positive and significant effects on teacher productivity (R=.571, p=.000). The study concluded that talent management is vital for teacher productivity in schools within Kisumu County, and recommended that talent management be embraced in these schools and followed appropriately.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.
