The document thanks and recognizes many teachers, staff members, coaches, and students for their contributions to a successful pep rally in support of Special Olympics athletes. It highlights how the pep rally brought joy to see the athletes' excitement at being recognized, and that it could not have been possible without teamwork from administration, coaches, band directors, cheerleaders, and many others who organized, performed, created banners and posters, took photos and videos, and otherwise supported the event. It expresses gratitude to all involved for exemplifying what it means to work as a team.

1. Teachers,
I just want to say thank you so much for a successful pep-rally. I was very
impressed with all of our Fans in the Stands (our students) that behaved so
well and were so supportive and encouraging. It brought joy to my heart
and a smile to my face to see our Special Olympians' excitement because
they were being recognized. Of course, this successful pep rally could not
have been possible without team work, so here goes my shout-outs:
*Mr. Gonzalez, for always supporting us throughout the year with our Meet
in the Middle program as well as giving us the thumbs up to conduct the
rally-we couldn't have do it without you, sir;
all of administration for their constant support;
*Coach Omar Canizales, for completely organizing this rally along with our
Meet in the Middle members-I didn't have to worry about a thing! Also, he
contacted the Laredo Bucks to come over and the kids went wild with
Bucky!
Our Meet in the Middle Members: Brenda Gonzalez, Omar Perez, and
Julietta Herrera who helped me put the movie maker together for the rally.
*Coach Simon Arriaga, and a plethora of PE students for helping create the
awesome banners around the gymnasium and school
*Coach Alcaraz, Coach Gonzalez, and Coach Ramos for always being so
understanding and such wonderful hosts;
*Our Mighty Bobcat Band Directors: Mr. Abel Garza, and Mr. Garcia who
always step up to the plate without complaint and with a cheerful smile; our
band members who graciously performed for our students;
*Cheerleader Sponsor: Vanessa Equigua, who also always gladly allows
her girls to participate; cheerleaders for doing an awesome performance
and motivational cheers;
*Sparkler Sponsor: Mrs. Cindy Bustamante, for always being ready at the
call of duty; Sparklers for dancing their hearts out for our students!
*Mrs. Veronica Ramirez and Mrs. Gladys Garza, for their Tomorrow's
Teachers participation; students: Ana Jeronimo and partner, Maria
Vasquez and partner, for their Power Point and Ilse Pedraza for her
inspirational poem;
*Juan Fructuoso, a.k.a. computer tech, who always helps me put the
awesome videos together and for taking pictures at the rally along with
some of our newspaper club members.
*Mrs. Maria Guajardo, for helping take more pictures
*Mrs. Cindy Flores, for helping put up the banners and so many more
things to get ready for today along with more PE students!
*Ms. Yire Parra, for helping in videotaping the rally
*Ms. Jackie Hammond for volunteering on her own to help create the
beautiful posters our Meet in the Middle students were holding-they were a
piece of art! Art students, your posters were amazing!

2. *Emilio and our custodians for also helping with sound system, chairs,
etc!!!!
*All the teachers and staff present that went to support and help out-I saw
numerous of you there and I am truly appreciative! Our FANS in the
STANDS at the rally were phenomenal! They were so well behaved and
were so encouraging! I was so impressed!
Of course, last but certainly not least, Mrs. Chapa and her awesome
assistants for teaching our Special Olympics athletes on a daily basis and
constantly showing them love...we appreciate you most of all!
My cup runneth over! Thank you so much!!!! I am so proud to be part of
such an outstanding group of people who know what the word TEAM really
means!
