BReeDBeeLD is gratis beschikbaar via http://breedbeeld.siho.be
Docenten mogen BReeDBeeLD gratis inzetten in hun lessen.

I like to make my friends embolden and powerful and not diminished and powerless. From the responses I got, I can describe myself as a person who is ready to learn. From the experience with all those people, I can clearly see that I have the eager to acquire new things. I am a person of great ideas and courage in making the very problem that I have to face as an individual or as a group to be an opportunity to grow myself. Sometime I have to stay fearless; I am never afraid to make risk or even mistakes, I choose to risk so as to be able to save a situation. I’m that kind of a person who would work at night just to make sure that a friend or any other person for that matter who is stuck gets help in real time. I have the ability to do a lot of things because I measure my strength clearly so as to determine if there is the need for extra efforts. Also, I believe in being honest with myself and those that need my help. I firmly believe that we must be clear on what we can do and what is beyond our abilities. This about value and where we can apply them, as such I make effort to remain real to mu values to avert any downfalls. Overall, I do my best to ensure that I demonstrate honesty, growth, sincerity, and transformation.
Compassion
I like to make my friends embolden and powerful and not diminished and powerless. I must say that I have all it takes to care genuinely for others in a way that is selfless; I do this because of a genuine desire to assist as well as improve the life of people. It may get or not get me very far in y life, but I have realized that genuine care for other people can inspire them, promote goodness, and serve as an example. Mostly it is imperative to show a person who needs that you care for him or her. I believe that the good or bad things we do to people affect their lives more significantly in a way that we may not know. Therefore, I choose to care genuinely for people to ensure positive impact in their lives. I know I have all that it takes to care for a person; it is an inner instinct to do so since it is part of my personality, I call it empathy. I caring for people is not a choice I have to make but because I feel it is a predisposition to do so. It makes me feel better about myself, connect with other people and improves their lives. There is so much help needed out there, and this is why I believe that it is imperative that I should do whatever I can to assist through the donation of my skills. It is simply by finding ways to express love to others, be it a child, family member, friend, co-worker, or even a complete stranger. For me, showing a little care is all that matters.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle

2. This document is a working rationale, it is where I
can begin and continue to organize my thoughts
about professionalism decision making, and where
I stand as an educator and as an individual. As I
continue my career in education I will continue to
grow in all aspects of life and with that growth will
come knew ideas and ways of thinking.
3. My Inner Landscape…
Each person I meet leaves an impact on me. I am affected by
each encounter, whether it was long or brief, good or bad. I am
the person I am today because of some of these encounters. It is
from this small belief that stems my understanding of professional
decision making. We are always faced with decisions and a lot of
the time the decisions do not only affect us, they affect others too.
I am reminded of the idea of the invisible string that connects us all
together. Once you meet someone you cannot unmeet them,
there is a connection and you leave an impression. I believe that
even though the decision might not always be agreeable and the
other person might leave upset it is still important to leave a
positive impact on the other person.
4. Reconciliations
Throughout life there will always be times when one is faced with conflict. I will
not always know how to handle certain scenarios or make sound decisions but
that’s okay. What is important is the reflection and questions I ask myself that
follow, like, how did this evolve into this? What could I have done differently?
Moments that do not pan out are what I learn from the most because they are
learning experiences that provide me with the foundations needed to make
better choices.
The feelings of others have always been a priority in my life; I want to make
everyone happy. That is why it is difficult for me to make decisions that cause
others to be unhappy. I know that as I continue my life as an educator I will
make others unhappy because I cannot make everyone happy all the time. But
it will never be my intention to make someone unhappy without what I feel is a
just reason for the decision I made and without a rationale as to why I made the
decision.
During problems it is sometimes difficult to stop and think and not let emotions
and opinions take over. Do not let that little monster take over but instead,
breathe and think. Let the other person speak. Be polite and a good listener.
Sometimes that is all a person needs.
5. Ethical Decision Making
The Virtue Approach: “What is ethical is what develops
moral virtues in ourselves and our communities.”
The Rights Approach: “Each person has a fundamental right
to be respected and treated as a free and equal rational
person capable of making his/her own decisions.”
The Common Good Approach: “What is ethical is what
advances the common good.”
The Utilitarian Approach: “Of any two actions, the most
ethical one will produce the greater balance of benefits
over harms.”
The professional codes and standards guide my
professional decisions and reflect who I am as a
professional. They are there for me to adhere to so that I
know where I stand as an educator and how important it is
to be a professional advocate for children.
6. P.D.M.M
A model is a different way in which to view a process. It
provides the steps that we need to take in order to come
to a solution. As a visual learner, models are my best
friend. Everything is placed in front of me in an organized
manner that really helps me understand what is
necessary. The model presented is a reminder, it is
something to look at when I need a nudge in the right
direction. The model will guide my decision making so I
can approach decisions in such a way that my students
are never jeopardized.
7. 1.What is the issue?
Who’s involved?
What are the
ethical concerns
2. Stop & Think:
What caused the
issue?
Who does it affect?
3. What are the
different views on
the issue?
Be objective
Have open
discussion
Be a good listener
4. What are all
possible solutions?
What are the –
and + of each
solution?
5. What is an
appropriate solution?
Is it ethical & just?
What is the rationale
for coming to that
solution?
How does it affect
others?
6. Implement the
decision
Be respectful and
professional
7. Reflection:
What could I have
done differently?
What did I learn?
Did the decision help
or hinder?
