Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) teaches lifelong skills and understandings to students that promote healthy lifestyle choices and reduce obesity risk. It encourages skill development in areas like communicating, decision making, interacting, moving, and problem solving. Teaching PDHPE also aims to build trustworthy relationships, promote good eating habits, and raise awareness of strategies to prevent unwanted problems for oneself and others.
