Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) teaches lifelong skills and understandings to students that promote healthy lifestyle choices and reduce obesity risk. It encourages skill development in communicating, decision making, interacting, moving, problem solving and building positive values and attitudes. PDHPE also promotes good eating habits, safe road use, and strategies to prevent problems and build trustworthy relationships.
