PDHPE is one of the six key learning areas in the NSW Primary Curriculum that encourages valuing of self and others through physical activity and recognizing physical, social, and emotional growth. It allows students to gain a better understanding of living an active and healthy lifestyle by teaching important life skills like nutrition, interpersonal relationships, growth and development, personal identity, safety, and sexuality in a fun and interactive way that promotes lifelong physical activity, interpersonal relationships, teamwork, cooperation, and motor skill development.
