This document outlines a professional development workshop about creating an interactive online module to prepare students for placements. The workshop aims to share the process used by Surrey University to develop their online module and help other universities begin the process. It includes categories and topics to include in the module, such as preparing for, finding, and securing a placement. Activities are outlined for workshop participants to brainstorm categories and resources relevant to their own university context. Ways to engage students and raise the profile of the module are also discussed, such as breaking content into units, regular emails, and promotions through various university channels.
