OUTCOMES-BASED SYLLABUS IN ENGLISH 7: BUSINESS CORRESPONDENCE & COMMUNICATION

I. USJR Vision: We envision the University of San Jose- Recoletos to be a premier Gospel and community-oriented educational institution committed to

II. USJR Mission:

III. Course description: This course is designed to help accounting students improve and build upon their fundamental English language communication skills, by
means of using professional and formal business tools such as letters, reports, and oral presentations in different structured business environments. This course also
provides the development of skills in practical applications which emphasizes the improvement of writing skills which will be necessary for business interactions.

IV. Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the students are required to:
C1. Apply business communication skills, strategies and principles to prepare for a more effective interaction for different domestic and international business
situations.
C2. Develop an awareness of the need for correct usage of expressions and the act of professionalism in oral and written business communication.
C3. Utilize analytical and problem solving-skills appropriate for business communication.

USJR Vision: We envision the University of San Jose- Recoletos to be a premier Gospel and community-oriented educational institution committed to transforming individuals to become more responsive leaders of the society through innovative integral formation. II. USJR Mission: We commit ourselves to: 1. Actively infuse Gospel values into curricular offerings. 2. Continuously develop and undertake innovative curricular and research programs and provide facilities that ensure excellent quality Christian community-oriented education. 3. Course description: This course is designed to help accounting students improve and build upon their fundamental English language communication skills, by means of using professional and formal business tools such as letters, reports, and oral presentations in different structured business environments. This course also provides the development of skills in practical applications which emphasizes the improvement of writing skills which will be necessary for business interactions. Apply business communication skills, strategies and principles to prepare for a more effective interaction for different domestic and international business situations. C2.
