Promotional piece:
Explain how the
advertisement catches the
viewer’s eye and cuts through
the advertising clutter.
The image captivates the viewers’ attention and
clears the scenery by its display of color and popular
cartoon drawings. For explanation, the audience
instantly perceives the image because of the
experiences they have acquired over the years with
the drawings and also because of the lighting
exemplified on the canvas.
Identify the tagline, phrases,
and images that are used in
the advertisement.
The vital images utilized in the picture are the
pineapple behind the shoe, the spatula to the left of
the shoe, the jelly fish in the upper left direction from
the shoe, and the seaweed sprouted in the sand.
Using research to support
your claims, explain how at

advertisement’s creative
choices (the music, actors,
copy, images, layout, design,
etc.) are appropriate for the
product’s specific target

It is extremely important for a promotional canvas to
relate to its specific target audience because they
are the consumers that the company believes will
purchase a particular product the most. I believe
Nike’s usage of images, and color in the
advertisement appropriately directed the Kyrie 5 to
its targeted audience. The image of the shoe at the
forefront with the pineapple behind it exemplifies
excellent marketing to its targeted audience.
According to The Herald (2015) … “An image used
in marketing design should strike a chord with the
market it is communicating with.” The Kyrie 5 has a
huge market with young children, so a picture that
contains a SpongeBob SquarePants scenery
connects with them deeply because of their
experiences with the cartoon. The color utilized in
the canvas is appropriate for the intended target
market, for the shoe targets creative, outgoing, lively
characters, and the colors invoke such a feel.

Nike advertises its products in various ways. Their
website is a main source for promotional means, and
they also advertise through direct marketing with
prestige universities as seen with Duke University.
Nike also advertises its products via sports networks
such as Espn and by professional leagues like the
NBA.

Nike understands that it is important to have credible
sources to promote their products, so their target
market can trust their products and as a result
purchase them. The target market Nike focuses
primarily on is consumers who are sports/athletics
fanatics. Because of the target market, Nike utilizes
major sport outlets to promote their products.
According to Laura Lake (2019) … “In order for
people to "buy into" a product or service, they need
to relate to the tone and content of the message.”
Nike’s targeted audience relates to sports, so they
promote their products via sports networks and
sports Universities to reach the majority of their
consumer base because the outlets are credible
enough in the perspective of the intended targeted
market to make them want to purchase the products
of Nike.

The targeted market for Hamsa’s Aid is teenagers
and middle-aged people who enjoy convenience,
uniqueness, and a healthy lifestyle. To appropriately
interact with the targeted consumer, a canvas with
pathological phrasing and unordinary design choices
are exploited. For explanation, the targeted market is
relatively young people who are moved by
persuasive/progressive motifs, so motivational
phrases and creative designs are used to attract
their interest. According to Stephanie Dwilson (2019)
… “Studies have shown that certain buzz words
affect readers and viewers emotionally, making them
more likely to want to buy a product.” The word
“revolution” invokes a powerful feeling to the target
market, and it also embarks a unique feel to the
product which is greatly sought after by the intended
target market. The design of the canvas also
exemplifies a unique and lively appeal correlated
within the product, and the targeted age group
yearns for such creativity and pleasure.

I would advertise the product via websites such as
Walmart and Target, and I will also advertise the
product on television networks such as Espn and
through the program ADAA or the Anxiety and
Depression Association of America.

chose these media vehicles to
reach the intended target

The media outlets chosen are well known entities
that affect the human population daily, so I will be
able to reach many potential consumers through the
outlets. In addition, the markets are well respected
and trusted by many in their fields of expertise, so
the utilization of the channels for the product will
enable the potential consumers to gather faith in the
product’s efficiency due to its association with the
media vehicles. For clarification, the intended target
market wants a product that is desired and credible,
and a great way to showcase these traits are by
connecting it to established brands. According to
Laura Lake (2019) … “By striking a chord with
someone, a personal connection is made, and trust
is established.” The intended target market for the
product seek a dependable well-known product that
offers convenience to their lives, and the respective
media vehicles display platforms that exemplify
distinguished brands and assistance to the highest
degree and because of Techowear’s collaboration
with them, the intended consumer market develops
trust for the product and as a result purchases it.

Student name: Alex Pate Part I - Favorite Product: Restate your chosen product from Assignment 1, Part I Kyrie 5 Promotional piece: Explain how the advertisement catches the viewer’s eye and cuts through the advertising clutter. The image captivates the viewers’ attention and clears the scenery by its display of color and popular cartoon drawings. For explanation, the audience instantly perceives the image because of the experiences they have acquired over the years with the drawings and also because of the lighting exemplified on the canvas. Identify the tagline, phrases, and images that are used in the advertisement. The vital images utilized in the picture are the pineapple behind the shoe, the spatula to the left of the shoe, the jelly fish in the upper left direction from

Using research to support your claims, explain how at least two of the advertisement’s creative choices (the music, actors, copy, images, layout, design, etc.) are appropriate for the product’s specific target market. (Include short or in- text citations) It is extremely important for a promotional canvas to relate to its specific target audience because they are the consumers that the company believes will purchase a particular product the most. I believe Nike’s usage of images, and color in the advertisement appropriately directed the Kyrie 5 to its targeted audience. The image of the shoe at the forefront with the pineapple behind it exemplifies excellent marketing to its targeted audience. According to The Herald (2015) … “An image used in marketing design should strike a chord with the market it is communicating with.” The Kyrie 5 has a huge market with young children, so a picture that contains a SpongeBob SquarePants scenery connects with them deeply because of their experiences with the cartoon. The color utilized in the canvas is appropriate for the intended target market, for the shoe targets creative, outgoing, lively characters, and the colors invoke such a feel. Where does the company advertise? (Please be specific and identify specific publications, television channels or websites.) Nike advertises its products in various ways. Their website is a main source for promotional means, and they also advertise through direct marketing with prestige universities as seen with Duke University. Nike also advertises its products via sports networks such as Espn and by professional leagues like the NBA.

(Include short or in- text citations) Nike understands that it is important to have credible sources to promote their products, so their target market can trust their products and as a result purchase them. The target market Nike focuses primarily on is consumers who are sports/athletics fanatics. Because of the target market, Nike utilizes major sport outlets to promote their products. According to Laura Lake (2019) … “In order for people to "buy into" a product or service, they need to relate to the tone and content of the message.” Nike’s targeted audience relates to sports, so they promote their products via sports networks and sports Universities to reach the majority of their consumer base because the outlets are credible enough in the perspective of the intended targeted market to make them want to purchase the products of Nike. (Include short or in- text citations) The targeted market for Hamsa’s Aid is teenagers and middle-aged people who enjoy convenience, uniqueness, and a healthy lifestyle. To appropriately interact with the targeted consumer, a canvas with pathological phrasing and unordinary design choices are exploited. For explanation, the targeted market is relatively young people who are moved by persuasive/progressive motifs, so motivational phrases and creative designs are used to attract their interest. According to Stephanie Dwilson (2019) … “Studies have shown that certain buzz words affect readers and viewers emotionally, making them more likely to want to buy a product.” The word “revolution” invokes a powerful feeling to the target market, and it also embarks a unique feel to the product which is greatly sought after by the intended target market. The design of the canvas also exemplifies a unique and lively appeal correlated within the product, and the targeted age group yearns for such creativity and pleasure. Where would you advertise this product? (Please be specific and identify specific publications, television channels or websites.) I would advertise the product via websites such as Walmart and Target, and I will also advertise the product on television networks such as Espn and through the program ADAA or the Anxiety and Depression Association of America.
  • 5. Using research to support your claims, explain why you chose these media vehicles to reach the intended target market. (Include short or in- text citations) The media outlets chosen are well known entities that affect the human population daily, so I will be able to reach many potential consumers through the outlets. In addition, the markets are well respected and trusted by many in their fields of expertise, so the utilization of the channels for the product will enable the potential consumers to gather faith in the product’s efficiency due to its association with the media vehicles. For clarification, the intended target market wants a product that is desired and credible, and a great way to showcase these traits are by connecting it to established brands. According to Laura Lake (2019) … “By striking a chord with someone, a personal connection is made, and trust is established.” The intended target market for the product seek a dependable well-known product that offers convenience to their lives, and the respective media vehicles display platforms that exemplify distinguished brands and assistance to the highest degree and because of Techowear’s collaboration with them, the intended consumer market develops trust for the product and as a result purchases it.
