Promotional piece:
Explain how the
advertisement catches the
viewer’s eye and cuts through
the advertising clutter.
Besides it being an iconic logo it catches the viewers
eye because if you are someone who is into shoes
or into fashion you are more likely to already know
what this would represent. It would make you curious
to what they are going to say about it. And if you
don’t know what it makes you curious to who is Stan
Smith and what he has to do with Adidas and make
someone want to look into it.
Identify the tagline, phrases,
and images that are used in
the advertisement.
The Adidas logo and name are on it and it has a
#Stan Smith and has Endorsed by and has his face
and signature on it.
Using research to support
your claims, explain how at
least two of the
advertisement’s creative
choices (the music, actors,
copy, images, layout, design,
etc.) are appropriate for the
product’s specific target
market. (Include short or in-
text citations)
The color way that those chose to go with still
represents the original purpose of their creation
which is tennis with the green and white like a tennis
ball and with Stan Smith being a legend in the sport
anything endorsed by him has a reputation with it.
Adidas having their logo show the powerhouse in the
show industry backing the legend.

This company has 72andSunny as the lead of their
advertisement departments and also has
partnerships with Carat of Dentsu Aegis Network.

Things that they use to reach the intended target
market are putting some of the biggest athletes in
their ads and having a large variety of colorways that
way you are able to find yourself looking for
something to have with many possible things you
have.

With it being a dark background and the white and
pink lettering, it would draw you to looking at the
name of the product. Another thing with it saying it’s
the next generation of smartwatches and health it
could make one wonder what it is doing new that
other smart watches are not doing that could help
either individual health or the health department.
With smartwatches and health both being
highlighted it draws a connection between the two.
Where would you advertise
this product? (Please be
specific and identify specific
publications, television
channels or websites.)
Some of the platforms I would advertise the product
is on Youtube.com, Amazon.com and also have
places like Walmart and Target put ads on their
websites and sales booklets. Also get ads on social
medias like Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter and
Instagram. I would also look into music steaming
platforms like Spotify and Tidal while also looking
into driving services like Uber and Lyft.

I chose the places I did to do my advertising
because social media everyone has if not one but
multiple profiles on many different social platforms
so many people would be able to get multiple looks
on many different sites. Social media, music
streaming services and driving services are ranked
and tops on the most used apps in 2018. And with
billions on each app it gives great chance to reach a
large number of people. Walmart and Target both
have huge customer bases and when people go
there, they like to walk around and see what new.
