 A Noun is a name of place, person , thing , idea
etc.
 Examples of Noun : john, london, hope, duster,
canada etc.
 Example : John uses a black pen for his notes.

 A Pronoun is used in the place of noun or noun
phrase to avoid repetition.
 Examples of Pronoun : I, you, we, us, them, those
etc.
 Example : I need those apples to eat.

 A Verb shows the action or a state of being.
 Examples of Verb : go, speak, eat, live, play etc.
 Example : He plays PS5 with the controller.

 Adverb modifies a verb, an adjective or another
adverb.
 Examples of Adverb : slowly, very, always, well, too
etc.
 Example : Yesterday, I completed my homework
quickly.

 Adjective describes , modifies or gives more
information about the noun or pronoun.
 Example of Adjective : cold, happy, young, fun, two
etc.
 Example : The little girl has a violet hat.

 Preposition shows the relationship of a noun or
pronoun to another word.
 Examples of Preposition : at, on, in, from, with,
about etc
 Example : I left my keys on the table.

 Conjunction joins the two wards, ideas, phrase
together and shows how they are connected.
 Examples of Conjunction : and, or, but, because etc
 Example : I played football and tennis with my
friends.

9. 8. Interjection
 Interjection is a word or phrase that expresses a
strong emotion. It is a short exclamation.
 Examples of Interjection : Ouch! Hey! Oh! Watch
out!
 Example : Wow! She won the gold medal in
Olympic.
