It begins with content that is meaningful. It
isn’t the content of subject matter text, but
rather content that is based on issues of
concern to students. There is no formal tests
but the teacher evaluates student in ongoing
way in the classroom. The goal is to help
students to understand the social, historical
or cultural forces that affects their lives and
then to help empower students to take
action and make decision in order to gain
control over their lives.
