Why is customer experience indispensable today?
In today's world, everything that we look at from building a great product is entangled with experience of the users, whether, it is a B2C product or B2B product. You walk-in to a retail shop like Croma to check the VR experience for your Samsung mobile, deploy a CRM software like Zendesk or play poker with gaming apps like Zynga. All these products invest heavily on innovation putting the customer/user in mind.
How is CX changing the way products are built?
Lets take Amazon as an example, wherein, the web or app have basic features of search and browse with impeccable variety of categories and SKUs. However, they emphase their operations heavily in order to provide the track and trace info to the customers and put customer experience as top priority, so that operational products enable the experience.
Take a look at a traditional Swedish furniture company - IKEA (in the link) and how the firm is focusing on building Augmented reality to experience their products from app to explore and buy the furniture.
How are customers perceiving a product as experience?
Lets explore more for the answers.

mycs Delivers Configurable Furniture with OzLINKOz Development
The team at mycs had a vision to transform the customizable furniture industry. Previously, they had built and sold a successful business providing customizable furniture. However, the long lead times of 6-8 weeks were causing frustrations with consumers who were expecting an Amazon-like delivery experience. With their new business model, they knew they needed an extremely flexible and scalable fulfillment platform, so they turned to NetSuite and OzLINK.
DIPACO Diesel Parts is a known and trusted name throughout the diesel fuel injection repair industry. Historically, they provided distribution of high quality parts for diesel engines such as pumps, injectors, seals, and gaskets. FactoryMation Streamlines with NetSuite & OzLINKOz Development
Hear How FactoryMation Streamlined Operations with OzLINK
FactoryMation’s growth and expanded product catalog were putting pressures on their warehouse operations. Order pickers were required to memorize the layout of the warehouse and use extreme caution to ensure orders were picked accurately. Many SKUs have similar part numbers, so picking quickly and accurately was a challenge. They realized they needed to implement a system that would increase efficiency without sacrificing accuracy.
With the opportunity to service the PetSmart stores nationwide and the resulting growth, handling the EDI orders with the current process was not scalable. Their traditional wholesale orders were well automated; however, they had no good way to handle the EDI orders and trading partner compliance. The challenges included:
Orders were manually entered into their CRM, and the shipping was already automated with OzLINK. However, generating the UCC 128 labels was done as a separate process by accounting
Capturing tracking numbers required for the ASN was manual
A separate staging area for EDI orders was required as they awaited UCC 128 labels
Factorymation Gets “Industrial” Warehouse Automation with OzLINKOz Development
FactoryMation provides customers with high-quality industrial control products at extremely low prices. With a catalog that features thousands of products, customers can enjoy huge savings on all of their automation needs. Given their rapid growth, it is imperative that they have a smooth running distribution operation. When they
decided to implement a new WMS system, they needed a robust warehouse bar code scanning solution to work efficiently and seamlessly with NetSuite. After
piloting with another NetSuite partner with limited success, FactoryMation implemented OzLINK, and they have never looked back.

GDG Cloud Southlake #33: Boule & Rebala: Effective AppSec in SDLC using Deplo...James Anderson
Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.
Gopinath Rebala
Gopinath Rebala is the CTO of OpsMx, where he has overall responsibility for the machine learning and data processing architectures for Secure Software Delivery. Gopi also has a strong connection with our customers, leading design and architecture for strategic implementations. Gopi is a frequent speaker and well-known leader in continuous delivery and integrating security into software delivery.

Parallel Marketing Group Success Story

Parallel Marketing Group
Parallel Marketing Improves Quote to Delivery
Process with OzLINK
At a Glance:
Parallel Marketing Group, of Walnut Creek, CA is passionate about helping their
clients bring their marketing campaigns to life by placing their projects in the best
production output environment, based on project requirements and each project’s “We tried other solutions but

Industry: Printing
- Minh Reza, Parallel Marketing
Oz Solutions: OzLINK Plus for UPS Group
Key Benefits:
Improved freight quoting accuracy, cut shipping costs, both of
which enhanced cost control
Met stringent delivery deadlines with short windows of receiving
deadlines
Increased client satisfaction by providing a custom formatted
Excel spreadsheet including all tracking information
The Challenge:
Bringing their customers’ marketing campaigns to fruition through the production of
print collateral & POP/POS displays is at the heart of what Parallel Marketing Group
does. Alongside the need to meet stringent requirements, tight schedules, and a
high standard of quality, was the challenge to manage the delivery of the finished
project. Suppliers did not always ship using the most cost-effective solution or ship
in a way that allowed Parallel Marketing to fulfill their clients’ shipping and tracking
requirements. Because of this, providing up-to-the minute shipping, tracking, and
proof of delivery information to the customer while maintaining freight budgets be-
came difficult. This resulted in the following issues:
Gaps in the planned costs and actual costs took away from the project’s
profitability.
Poor visibility of tracking made it difficult to meet and manage customer
expectations.
Matching carrier service options to delivery dates was a manual, tedious,
and time-consuming process.
The Solution:
Parallel Marketing Group selected OzLINK Plus for UPS to streamline their freight
quote to delivery process, dramatically simplifying the process while cutting down
on clerical work and improving customer satisfaction. With OzLINK Plus for UPS,
Parallel Marketing now has the ability to process bidding and tracking elements of
their projects quickly and simply, working directly in Microsoft Excel.
The results they achieved include:
Quick batch rates to more easily negotiate and win profitable projects
The ability to access tracking information for supplier shipments on the
same day by loading the orders from Quantum View Manager into OzLINK
