For recycling of paper we have decided to design and develop the paper recycling machine. This machine enables the conversion of waste paper to reusable new paper. The designed machine consists of five major components that are the hydropulper, the head box, the felt conveyor, the driers and the rollers.

3. Observed Paper wastage in schools, colleges and
offices.
Why we don’t have own paper recycling facility ?
To start working on project which provide small scale
paper recycling in office, schools and colleges.
4. Why we choose to do research on recycling
process rather than production of paper from
wood fiber?
The primary source of paper making is vegetable
fibers. This leads to depletion of forest and
disturbs environmental balance. So the only way
out is to use recycling process.
5. The full scale plant is available world wide but the use
those in offices and school is not possible so to resize
the whole plant in single small scale portable machine.
9. Paper breaking problem between calendaring and
winding process.
Lack of automation in winding process.

winding rollers.
Variable peripheral speed of winding rollers.
Tensile force in paper because of lagging of speed of
calendar rollers and winding rollers.

Waste heat Recovery system
12. The paper is the not strong in tension, due to which it
breaks when the tension is applied on the paper. This
tension on paper mainly occurs due to uneven speed
of motor on pulping or formation side and the motor
on the reeling side.
The uneven speed of motor forms bubbles on the
surface of the paper reel and sometimes the paper
also breaks. To avoid this the synchronization of speeds
is to be done

14. The paper breaking problem was due to amount of
moisture content in the paper was remaining higher
than desired. Due to higher moisture content in the
paper at dry section the paper when comes in tension
breaks.
To bring the amount of moisture in required levels the
input of heat can be done through waste heat recovery
system.
The boilers in industries and chimney of kitchen in
colleges and offices has lots of waste heat. This heat
can be utilized to take away all the remaining moisture
from the paper which will reduce the size of the
machine and avoid the breaking of paper.
