This document describes a technique for immediate loading of implants in the completely edentulous mandible using a custom-fabricated interim implant-supported prosthesis. Four implants were placed between the mental foramina and immediately loaded with an interim acrylic resin prosthesis. Transparent surgical guides and templates were used to identify implant positions, which allowed for minimal denture modification and improved structural integrity and esthetics of the interim prosthesis. At 3 months, a definitive implant-supported prosthesis was fabricated. This technique aims to reduce treatment time and postoperative discomfort through immediate loading of implants in the mandible.
