Tanzania is an East African country bordered by Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique. It is believed to be one of the earliest places where humans originated and has a diverse landscape ranging from savanna to forests to mountains such as Mount Kilimanjaro. Tanzania has a population of over 39 million people and relies heavily on agriculture, as well as natural resources like gold and gas, although only a small portion of the land is suitable for farming.
