Abstract: This paper introduces a three-dimensional reconstruction experiment based on a physical laboratory-based experiment on a brick wall. Using controlled shooting distances and angles, different images sets were captured and processed with a structure from motion based technique, which can reconstruct 3D models based on multi-view, Two-Dimensional (2D) images. Those 2D geometries are shown to generate significant deformations within the resulting point cloud, especially where there were large angles (with respect the camera position and the wall’s normal direction) and at close distances to the wall’s surface. This paper demonstrates that by overlapping different flawed image sets, the deformation problem can be minimised.

Imagery-based, three-dimensional (3D) reconstructions from Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) hold the potential to provide a safer, more economical, and less disruptive approach for bridge inspection. This paper describes a methodology using a low-cost UAV to generate an imagery-based, dense point cloud for bridge deck inspection. Structure from motion (SfM) is employed to create a three-dimensional (3D) point cloud. Outlier data are removed through a density-based filtering method. Next, the unsupervised learning algorithm k-means and an object-based region growing algorithm are compared for accuracy with respect to bridge deck extraction. Last, an automatic pavement evaluation method is proposed to estimate the deck’s pavement condition. The procedure is demonstrated through an actual case study, in which a 3D point cloud of 16 million valid points was generated from 212 images. With that data set, the region growing method successfully extracted the deck area with an F-score close to 95%, while the unsupervised learning approach only achieved 76%. In the last, to evaluate the surface condition of the extracted pavement, a polynomial surface fitting method was designed to evaluate and visualise the damages.

At the essence of video surveillance, there are abnormal detection approaches, which have been proven to be substantially effective in detecting abnormal incidents without prior knowledge about these incidents. Based on the state-of-the-art research, it is evident that there is a trade-off between frame processing time and detection accuracy in abnormal detection approaches. Therefore, the primary challenge is to balance this trade-off suitably by utilizing few, but very descriptive features to fulfill online performance while maintaining a high accuracy rate. In this study, we propose a new framework, which achieves the balancing between detection accuracy and video processing time by employing two efficient motion techniques, specifically, foreground and optical flow energy. Moreover, we use different statistical analysis measures of motion features to get robust inference method to distinguish abnormal behavior incident from normal ones. The performance of this framework has been extensively evaluated in terms of the detection accuracy, the area under the curve (AUC) and frame processing time. Simulation results and comparisons with ten relevant online and non-online frameworks demonstrate that our framework efficiently achieves superior performance to those frameworks, in which it presents high values for the accuracy while attaining simultaneously low values for the processing time.
IRJET- Geological Boundary Detection for Satellite Images using AI Technique

An improved particle filter tracking

Detect of Railroad using Image Processing and Applying it on Syrian Railways
The document proposes a method for detecting railroad tracks in Syria using image processing of videos captured by a camera mounted on a locomotive. This project aimed to compare the use of and resultant errors when Measurement Fusion (Plot Fusion) and Track Fusion were used to combine data from various sensors in a simulated environment analogous to the Singaporean environment. The environment and analysis was done wholly using a program executed by MATLAB 6.1, and results showed that Measurement Fusion was more accurate when tracking objects following a path with many turns. However, the major source of error was not the fusion algorithm, but the inclusion algorithm.

In this paper we present a comparative study on fusion of visual and thermal images using different wavelet transformations. Here, coefficients of discrete wavelet transforms from both visual and thermal images are computed separately and combined. Next, inverse discrete wavelet transformation is taken in order to obtain fused face image. Both Haar and Daubechies (db2) wavelet transforms have been used to compare recognition results. For experiments IRIS Thermal/Visual Face Database was used. Experimental results using Haar and Daubechies wavelets show that the performance of the approach presented here achieves maximum success rate of 100% in many cases.

This document presents research on developing a lightweight indoor positioning system using Wi-Fi fingerprinting and the M-WKNN algorithm. The system was tested in a real domestic indoor environment. A new approach is described for investigating the accuracy of positioning active long-term evolution (LTE) users. The explored approach is a networkbased method and depends on signal level measurements as well as the coverage of the serving cell. In a two-dimensional coordinate system, the algorithm simultaneously applies LTE measured data with a combination of a basic prediction model to locate the mobile device’s user. Furthermore, we introduce a unique method that combines timing advance (TA) and the measured signal level to narrow the search region and improve accuracy. The developed method is assessed by comparing the predicted results from the proposed algorithm with satellite measurements from the global positioning system (GPS) in various scenarios calculated via the number of cells that user equipment concurrently reports. This work separates seven different cases starting from a single reported cell to five reported cells from up to 3 sites. For analysis, the root mean square error (RMSE) is computed to obtain the validation for the proposed approach. The study case demonstrates location accuracy based on the numbers of registered cells with the mean RMSE improved using TA to approximately 70-191 m for the range of scenarios.

Face detection is a critical function of security (secure witness face in the video) who appear in a scene and are frequently captured by the camera. Recognition of people from their faces in images has recently piqued the scientific community, partly due to application concerns, but also for the difficulty this characterizes for the algorithms of artificial vision. The idea for this research stems from a broad interest in courtroom witness face detection. The goal of this work is to detect and track the face of a witness in court. In this work, a Viola-Jones method is used to extract human faces and then a particular transformation is applied to crop the image. Witness and non-witness images are classified using convolutional neural networks (CNN). The Kanade-Lucas-Tomasi (KLT) algorithm was utilized to track the witness face using trained features. In this model, the two methods were combined in one model to take the advantage of each method in terms of speed and reduce the amount of space required to implement CNN and detection accuracy. After the test, the results of the proposed model showed that it was 99.5% percent accurate when executed in real-time and with adequate lighting.

sensor can be used as a crash or rollover detector of the vehicle during and after a crash. With
signals from a piezo electric sensor, a severe accident can be recognized. According to this
project when a vehicle meets with an accident immediately piezo electric sensor will detect the
signal or if a car rolls over. Then with the help of GSM module and GPS module, the location
will be sent to the emergency contact. Then after conforming the location necessary action will
be taken. If the person meets with a small accident or if there is no serious threat to anyone’s
life, then the alert message can be terminated by the driver by a switch provided in order to
avoid wasting the valuable time of the medical rescue team.

The Network on Chip (NoC) has emerged as an effective
solution for intercommunication infrastructure within System on
Chip (SoC) designs, overcoming the limitations of traditional
methods that face significant bottlenecks. However, the complexity
of NoC design presents numerous challenges related to
performance metrics such as scalability, latency, power
consumption, and signal integrity. This project addresses the
issues within the router's memory unit and proposes an enhanced
memory structure. To achieve efficient data transfer, FIFO buffers
are implemented in distributed RAM and virtual channels for
FPGA-based NoC. The project introduces advanced FIFO-based
memory units within the NoC router, assessing their performance
in a Bi-directional NoC (Bi-NoC) configuration. The primary
objective is to reduce the router's workload while enhancing the
FIFO internal structure. To further improve data transfer speed,
a Bi-NoC with a self-configurable intercommunication channel is
suggested. Simulation and synthesis results demonstrate
guaranteed throughput, predictable latency, and equitable
network access, showing significant improvement over previous
designs

Road construction is not as easy as it seems to be, it includes various steps and it starts with its designing and
structure including the traffic volume consideration. Then base layer is done by bulldozers and levelers and after
base surface coating has to be done. For giving road a smooth surface with flexibility, Asphalt concrete is used.
Asphalt requires an aggregate sub base material layer, and then a base layer to be put into first place. Asphalt road
construction is formulated to support the heavy traffic load and climatic conditions. It is 100% recyclable and
saving non renewable natural resources.
With the advancement of technology, Asphalt technology gives assurance about the good drainage system and with
skid resistance it can be used where safety is necessary such as outsidethe schools.
The largest use of Asphalt is for making asphalt concrete for road surfaces. It is widely used in airports around the
world due to the sturdiness and ability to be repaired quickly, it is widely used for runways dedicated to aircraft

well as the registered blood donors around Mumbai. This application also provide an
opportunity for the user of this application to become a registered donor for this user have
to enroll for the donor request from the application itself. If the admin wish to make user
a registered donor, with some of the formalities with the organization it can be done.
Specialization of this application is that the user will not have to register on sign-in for
searching the blood banks and blood donors it can be just done by installing the
application to the mobile.
The purpose of making this application is to save the user’s time for searching blood of
needed blood group during the time of the emergency.
This is an android application developed in Java and XML with the connectivity of
SQLite database. This application will provide most of basic functionality required for an
emergency time application. All the details of Blood banks and Blood donors are stored
in the database i.e. SQLite.
This application allowed the user to get all the information regarding blood banks and
blood donors such as Name, Number, Address, Blood Group, rather than searching it on
the different websites and wasting the precious time. This application is effective and
user friendly.

- 2. This paper proposes a method for image-based shift measurement and investigates solution for the mismatched bands of Egyptsat-1 satellite. Due to the mismatching between bands, aliasing have been noticed after combining the bands. A tiny error in measuring sub pixel shift leads to an incorrect image analysis tasks, in which the final information is gained from the combination of various data sources like in image fusion, change detection, and multichannel image restoration. This process can be posed as a planer motion estimation between each pair of low resolution LR images, in which we try to combine the principles of local adaptation and global consistency to obtain accurate and robust estimation. The present method aims to select significant frequencies of an observed signal for three parameter; horizontal, vertical and rotation to avoid the frequency of the very few that affect the output. Applying Tukey window to the images causes our algorithm to outperform the others in the estimation and minimization of border effects, especially when the images have big rotations with respect to each other. SPOT5 satellite images with known displacement are used to assess the quality of the proposed method and its technique is applied to measure the shift between Egyptsat-1 bands. This could solve Egyptsat-1 problem of mismatches between its bands. In addition, the resulted corrected Bands could be used in super resolution reconstruction methods.
