Kent's Cultural Commissioning Journey involved using arts and culture in several government services: - A £1 million mental health service was recommissioned involving arts organizations. - The arts sector was involved in recommissioning Kent's £50 million waste management services. - Arts groups were engaged in commissioning early help and prevention services. Kent also piloted using six arts groups to deliver health outcomes through the Six Ways to Wellbeing program, leading to an arts commissioning toolkit and successfully bidding for a Cultural Commissioning Pilot with adult social care. This resulted in Live Well Kent, a network of over 60 delivery partners including 15 from arts and culture, managed by two strategic partners.
