This document outlines AMV's strategic approach to engagement at the national, regional, continental, and global levels to support the sustainable development of Africa's mineral resources. At the national level, AMV uses a systematic methodology to work with 24 countries in Africa, focusing on mineral value chains, linkages, and legal frameworks. Regionally, AMV collaborates with 4 African regional economic communities and the ICGLR to harmonize policies. Globally, AMV engages with international organizations and processes to integrate African perspectives on issues like beneficiation, artisanal mining, and complex contract negotiations.
