Tom Glanfield
Founder & CEO
Tom founded Lawrence Harvey in 2002, and with the support of the
other leaders on this page, they have combined a successful strategy
of organic growth and raw ambition, and together have built LH into
a multi-national thriving entity. He spends most of his time between
the UK, USA and Europe visiting our international offices. His mission is
continued growth and further global domination... just watch this space.
Paul Smith
Director - Head of Lawrence Harvey,
Contract Division, London & Paris
Paul consults with customers that are embarking on business
optimisation projects based around the niche technologies we specialise
in. Helping them identify and secure the services of the most experienced
freelance consultants either based in the UK or overseas. Having
come from a recruitment background spending 10 years in the SAP
market, Paul is passionate about ERP and the current technologies that
companies choose to enhance their ERP platforms focused around Data
& Analytics, CRM and HR Transformation.
Jamie Wilkins
Associate Director - Permanent Division
Jamie is internally responsible for creating & driving the vision,
motivating and inspiring the team, succession planning, as well
as coaching & mentoring all aspects of the job. Externally he
plays a key role in peer-to-peer business development as well as
managing some of our largest accounts.
Neil Metcalf
Associate Director - Contract Division
Neil heads up the team that specialise in placing interim/contract
technology professionals into core infrastructure and development
markets such as Virtualisation, storage and Cloud (Infrastructure), and
Open Source Development (Development) – including Scala, Python
and Perl programming languages. In addition to our core markets he is
building desks within progressive and emerging markets such as DevOps,
Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and IOT. These emerging and
progressive markets still sit within infrastructure and development.
Myles Jackson
Associate Director - Contract Division
Myles oversees the teams specialising in Microsoft Business
Intelligence, Salesforce, Oracle and Workday contract recruitment
covering the UK & Europe. His own specialism is within the Microsoft
Dynamics market, and he and his team run their business with full
autonomy. This level of ownership delivers a special, unique service
to clients and candidates.

Jim Denning
Group Managing Director
Jim began his career in the London office before heading up the West
Coast of the US market in our Santa Monica office. Now he returns
to London as Group Managing Director. Jim also aids the growth of
Lawrence Harvey’s unique culture, ensuring the continuation of a
seamless blend of hardworking successful consultants with a start-
up style vibe where people love what they do! If this is not enough, he
ensures LH’s culture is always underpinned by our large scale business
