Assam is Gateway State of the strategically important
North Eastern Region of India that shared 98 percent
of its regional border with international neighbors such
as China, Myanmar, Bhutan, and Bangladesh
Amidst COVID_19 pandemic clubbed with
natural calamities like flood, the State for
the first time suffered from Animal disease
emergencies due to African Swine Fever
and Lumpy Skin Disease.
The poster describes learning related to handling animal
disease emergencies based on the observation of government
response during the crisis.
