- 4. Present Illness : This 69-year-old woman has rectal cancer s/p LAR before, without known drug allergic reaction. She fell down accidentally few hours ago. After the falling accident, she suffered right hip pain and limited ROM. Due to above condition, she was brought to our ER for help. At our ER, physical exam showed tenderness and deformity over right hip; painful limited ROM; intact distal circulation, motor and sensory function; no open wound. We also arranged X-ray for her, and it showed fracutre of right femoral neck with partial displacement. Due to above problems, she was admitted for further management. General Data Present Illness Past History Image Operation Chief Complaint : (0902) Right hip painful disability after falling down few hours ago.

Symptom / Sign * Sudden onset of hip pain Elderly -either before or following a fall -may be no obvious history of trauma -knee, buttock, groin, or thigh pain * Inability to walk -some may continue to bear weight * Leg appear externally rotated +shortened - displaced hip fracture * Little bruising -intracapsular Symptom/Sign Mechanism Examination Treatment
