The Wager Line Analysis
Everything begins with a foundation page that has Meow, the fortunate feline, taking up the
greater part of the screen in front a light red foundation finish with yellow images of various
sizes. Proceeding onward to the diversion, the foundation shading turns out to be considerably
darker. As there is no significant foundation region, the red truly stands out. Not just do the little
images show up in various sizes, however in a few shades of red. The 5 reels that make up the
diversion are utilized as a component of a Chinese hovel, yet what emerges is the absence of the
amusement s title. That space is taken up by various alternatives appearing at the highest point of
the screen, including the name of the diversion and the different rewards.... Show more content on

0.10, 0.25, 0.50 and 1.0. The wager lines are anything but difficult to change somewhere around
1 and 20, with an indication of what line you are on the screen either side of the reels. There are
outlines of each on the Pay table. There s a Max Bet which empowers a wager of 200.0 and a
somewhat flawless Auto Play which gives choices of 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100, and even a vast
alternative. Give the great times a chance to roll. There is a Fast Speed choice so you can
likewise make them roll significantly speedier. The fortunate feline is the highest point of the
normal images and worth up to 500 credits, with the shake 400. These 2 are the main ones to
give anything for getting 2 of a kind, properly giving 2 credits. The blooms have a most extreme
estimation of 200, with the Ace worth 150 going down to the image 10 at 50. The music when
playing isn t anything unique, with fundamental sound impacts and the odd whimper where
proper. Somewhat baffling truly. The payable is one of the neatest ones around, proceeding with
the red foundation, however this time without the brightening shapes. Each of the images is in a
darker red box, with the three extra ones above. The Wildcard is the place the genuine power is.
If you get 5 of them you ll get 10,000 credits, with 4 being a profitable 2,000. It replaces
everything beside the Scatter and Bonus. The Scatter is a lofty brilliant pot. And also being
worth 500 credits on the off chance that you get 5 of them (with different credits accessible on
the off chance that you get 2, 3 or 4), you can get 10 free twists on the off chance that you see at
least 3 of them in one go. All wins in the Free Games are tripled, aside from the Lucky Bonus. In
the event that you get no less than 3 of these on ceaseless reels, starting from the fundamental reel

The Beliefs Of Donald Trump And Trump Criticism
These are the NFL Players Protesting today amid Trump Criticism
Are Americans going about protesting their beliefs in the correct way? Standing during the
National Anthem has been a way Americans show respect for their country since the 1800 s,
therefore not standing is nothing short of disrespectful. Last year, former pro quarterback Colin
Kaepernick started kneeling during the National Anthem because he believed standing was social
and racial injustice and players today have followed his actions. After a statement from President
Trump on Sunday, September 24th, there has been nothing but more chaos and protests throughout
our Nation s professional football teams. All American citizens should know and understand that
protesting is perfectly acceptable but protesting and disrespecting something that is completely
irrelevant is not, there is nothing anyone can do about who the elected President is and you can t
take everything Donald Trump says seriously, but regardless of the situation, it is never acceptable
Kneel during our National Anthem. America is a country all about freedom, therefore those who
choose to protest have every right to do so but disrespecting something that has been a part of the
American tradition for over two hundred years is not the right way to go about it. Colin
Kaepernick started the trend of kneeling during the National Anthem last year and said he refuses
to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of

New Yorker Book Cover
In 1942 America has recently joined WWII to fight against Germany and Japan after the attack on
Pearl Harbor. Many news outlets such as the New Yorker have provided information about the war
but what stands out from the others are there covers. The New Yorker use many covers reflecting
both on the war itself and on the impact of the conflict on American culture. From these two covers
we can see how the New Yorkerhas chosen the repetition of war to portray these covers from this
important cultural event, as well as which scenes were chosen for portrayal, can help to show how
Americans at the time viewed the war itself, and its impact on their culture which of it were most
important to people at the time. Even though both covers depict a simplistic... Show more content

Published in September 5, 1942 by the same artist Constantine Alajalov, we can see by the first
view of the cover on how the war has impacted the American industry. During the time of the war,
many able bodied men were either getting trained or in combat and with the high demand of
labor for war industries, many women for the first time have entered the work force performing
jobs that usually only men can handle. From this cover we see both men and women taking
their lunch breaks, the interesting part is how they re being represented. In one side we see the
men all dispirited from their work in plain darken clothes, while we see the women sitting in a
circle all talking and laughing dressed in bright colorful clothes. This possibly reflects the
different attitudes toward their work of the two groups. The women depicted here seems very
pleased with the work they re doing and helping as much as they can in the war, since before
WWII they only been able to help in limited ways. On the other hand, the men working here have
likely been rejected by the army, who would prefer to be fighting than working in a factory.
Constantin Alajalov painted this picture possibly to show how it reflects the different attitudes
toward work which the American people had based upon their gender and their situations, as well
as some tensions in which the war has created. These two pictures have a deeper meaning within it,
possibly the artist wanted to show how young soldiers would viewed if they joined and an outcome
how the war effected the

The Byronic Hero And Satire
George Noel Gordon, Lord Byron and Percy Shelley were two poets who wrote during the
Romantic and Victorian eras, but are still world renowned today. Although Byron and Shelley were
friends, their writing styles differed greatly. Byron wrote his poetry based on the idea of negative
romanticism, which sought to reject the fixed views of the previous era. Negative romanticismis
negative, critical, cynical, and anti Platonism. Byron s negative romanticism looked to the past and
was manifested in the use of the Byronic hero and satire. In contrast, Shelley wrote his poetrybased
on the idea of positive romanticism, which tried to find something to build up what Byron tore
down through his negative romanticism. Positive romanticism focused on a new orientation, new
metaphors, a new world picture, and new myths, which were rooted in Platonism. Byron and
Shelley were complete opposites of each other, but seemed to balance each other out, similarly to
the yin and yang. When considering Byron s poetry, one must understand the Byronic hero. The
Byronic hero is an anti hero that has various negative and positive aspects, such as being both
remorseful and unrepentant, alienated, exiled, a wanderer, guilt ridden, estranged, and both proud
and aloof. Furthermore, this character is faithful to a lofty ideal and freedom loving. Byron s
poem, Prometheus is a perfect illustration of the use of the Byronic hero as a manifestation for
negative romanticism. This poem is based on the Greek

Analyzing Robert Palmer s What Pop Lyrics Say To Us Today
In What Pop Lyrics Say to Us Today writer Robert Palmer analyzes pop lyrics over the recent
decades and concludes pop music sends dominant messages that are influential to young people.
Pop has always thoroughly responded to current events, and today s pop music continues to reflect
that culture. To begin with, pop can change attitudes toward love. Palmer first refers to stars such
as Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones who endorse sex to urge social change and revolution. Their
music was a voice and reminder to older generations that they possessed influential power. True
romantic notions tend to be viewed with some suspicion. Palmer also discusses how in comparison
to music of the 60 s, idealisms have changed since current times. The Beatles

Indian Camp Analysis
Kian Cato September 17, 2017
From fishing trip to the birth of a baby to an unexplained suicide, Nick has had a very interesting
day. Indian Camp is centered around the main character Nick who is a young boy and his father is
a doctor. From the short story Indian Camp , by Ernest Hemingway, Nick experiences his first time
seeing several things happening as graphic as child birth with C section and suicide, things he
had never seen before and had no idea that he was about to experience that in his life. From the
reading, the young Indian seems reluctant to look at the episode head on however he was a good
help to his dad. I also observed that Nick is not a tough person, that he is sensitive, passionate and
caring. Oh, daddy can t you give her something to make her stop screaming? I think that Nick
might have been too young to be experiencing such a grownup episode as childbirth and under the
circumstance as a C section and mortality. I also think that his father may have pushed this
experience on him a little too soon. As it turns out Nick still too young to really process the idea
of mortality and Nick s father had to explain to him a whole lot more than he expected to do. He
was looking away so as not to see what his father was doing. Nick did not watch. His curiosity had
been gone for a long time.
In the Indian Camp there was a young boy named Nick who goes on an adventure with

Nietzsche Good Vs Evil
The Good, The Bad, and The Jealous:
An Examination of Ressentiment, according to Nietzsche
In his book, Genealogy of Morals, Nietzsche examines the origins of Good and Evil. He postures
that these two concepts are derived from language, rather than essential morality. He argues that
people label things as good or evil based upon their personal feelings and position of privilege.
Douglas Smith translated this edition of Genealogy of Morals into English, but he also included
explanations of some of Nietzsche s key concepts. According to Smith, A central concept in
Nietzsche s argument, ressentiment is the essence of slave morality, a purely reactive mode of
feeling which simply negates the active and spontaneous affirmation of values on the part of the
nobility (142). Ressentiment stems from the oppressed party s jealousy. The oppressed do not
accept that it is bad that they do not have the luxuries and rights that the nobility posses. Instead, the
oppressed use ressentiment, flip the moral spectrum, and declare that those luxuries are evil. The
oppressed class (or at least the class that perceives itself to be as such), uses ressentiment to make
itself feel better and to have ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

evil; and whoever is as little of a bird of prey as possible, indeed, rather the opposite, a lamb

Outsiders In The Metamorphosis By Franz Kafka
You know those weird people that you see that you think are so different that they have no value

in our society. Outsiders have a value in society. They can bring new ideas and knowledge. For
example someone who is good at math could be an outsider and they could bring in math

For example in Franz Kafka s story The Metamorphosis, Gregor was an outsider and his family

The Key Role Of The 1936 Summer Olympic Games
The Crucial Role of the 1936 Summer Olympic Games
In May of 1931, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) selected Berlin, Germany as the
site for the 1936 Summer Olympic Games, however, they did not know that in just two short
years one of the most notorious, ruthless and supressive regimes, and it s leader, ever known to

founded on February 24, 1920, in Munich, Germany. After suffering from a terrible humiliation

When the IOC selected Berlin as the site for the 1936 Summer Olympic Games, they had no idea
that in just a few short years Germany would be transformed from a humble, desperate state to a
ruthless and power hungry empire. The first part of German Society to undergo a transformation by
the Nazi Party was the German government, which underwent a major change on January 30, 1933,
[when] the German President, Paul von Hindenburg, appointed Adolf Hitler chancellor, the head of
the government. (Bachrach 16). In order to gain power and stay in power, the Nazi Party needed
to win over the hearts and minds of the German people; in order to do this, Hitler and the Nazis
promised [the] birth of a New Germany, giving hope to many Germans fearful of the future.
(Bachrach 16). To accomplish their goal of giving birth to a New Germany, the policies of the Nazi
government were aimed at restoring Germany s importance as a country, following its defeat in the
First World War. Its methods, in addition to strong nationalist rhetoric and demonstrations, included
targeting groups it claimed to be responsible for the economic ills of the country, principally Jews,
who became the regime s preferred target of discrimination. (Pound 65). When other countries and
groups heard about the discrimination and mistreatment of Jews and other ethnic groups being
committed by this new Nazi Party, they started to question whether or not the Olympic Games

Halloween By Diane Arbus Analysis
Masks
In the photograph Halloween by Diane Arbus there are two children dressed up for Halloween in
the foreground. The central figure in this photograph is a child in a cute Mickey Mouse costume.
Based on his height he is most likely around the age of five to six. Despite his appealing costume,
the boy is wearing a scary mask on his face. The mask is a skeleton s face with its mouth and eyes
wide open. Mickey Mouse s face on the boy s costume, is smiling, which is a contradictory
expression to the mask. The boy is standing upright, but putting more pressure on his left side,
allowing him to lean a bit. Both of his hands are raised parallel to his shoulders. His fingers are
curled like he is trying to scare someone. The body language of the boy appears that he ... Show

The little girl is also wearing a Halloween costume. Unlike the boy s cheerful Mickey Mouse
costume, her dress has bats and spider webs on it. There also seems to be a rope on the dress,
meant to look like a bow. Similar to the boy, the girl is also wearing a mask. Instead of a skeleton
s face, her mask looks like a creepy doll s face. The girl is also standing upright to the left of the
boy and a little behind him. It appears that her hands are raised too. Her left hand is hidden
behind the boy, so it is unclear what it is doing. In her right hand she is holding something, but
her fingers are similarly curled, as if she is also trying to scare someone. The way her shoulders
are shrugging makes her appear to also be uncomfortable with her position. By looking at the
background, it appears that the children are in the city. There are buildings lined up all the way
down the street and cars are parallel parked next the sidewalk. Two or three other people are also
walking on the sidewalk. All around where the two children are standing is a lot of trash and
cracks on the ground. Directly behind the children is a break of the buildings and instead a fence.

Swimming Monologue
I wake up barely dawn, when the early morning is still unpleasantly chilly and most of my peers

having the readings checked monthly to insure that they are not getting over radiated over a

Theme Of Innocence In Catcher In The Rye
Everyone grows. Growth as well as loss of innocence protrude throughout every human being,
changing each. Everyday men, women, and children grow, but some days more than others.
One such day was that of my great grandmother s death. My grandma had been only nine years
old when her mother died of cancer. Having no other older siblings and a working father, my
grief filled grandmother, left with no option, had to quit school and learn to cook and clean for
her two year old brother. She had undertaken the job of a parent at only nine years old. The loss
of her innocence occured at that moment, where my grandma had grown more than any other
point in her lifetime. This compares to the struggle Holden Caulfield, a 16 year old boy, goes
through in a coming of age story by J.D. Salinger. In The Catcher in the Rye, J.D. Salinger
illustrates our humanneedto protect the innocence of others.
The setting of the novel furthers the idea that humans need to protect innocence of others. Holden
opts to preserve the pure snow when given the chance to disturb it. This occurs when Holden had
just crafted a snowball and he felt rushed, requiring him to discard of the ball. He started to throw
it. At the car that was parked across the street. But [he] changed [his] mind. The snow looked so
nice and white (36). Holden refused to throw the snowball due to the fact that his need to preserve
the perfect image of snow outweighed all others. This perfect image metaphorically represents

Soccer Accuracy
I have been playing soccer as long as I can remember. Of course, I grew up kicking a ball around
with my uncles not knowing what the I was doing. Eventually, growing up, I understood more and
more; such as understanding that the ball needed to go in the goal. When reaching my middle
school years, my parents registered me on a soccer team. As usual, It was close to the same
running around my parents had experienced when I was younger. Of course, now I had better
knowledge of the gameand knew a bit more about how to play. When I reached my high school
years, I noticed I wasn t the best at the soccer. Now, I see myself improved in accuracy, chemistry,
and teamwork. First, my high school coach stated I needed improvement on my accuracy skills.
What my coach meant was that the ball had to go to where I meant it to go. For example, if I
passed the ball to one of my teammates it would have had to go to him and not the opponent.
Back then, I would accidentally embarrass myself by losing the ball because of a sloppy and weak
pass. According to my coach, another area I needed improvement was my crosses. Although my

Another selfish move I would did was not pass the ball to a teammate who would be at the

My Group Presentation Was Over Myasthenia Gravis
My group presentation was over myasthenia gravis. Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a neuromuscular
auto immune disease that is characterized by fatigable weakness in the skeletal muscles. This
occurs at the neuromuscular junction, in which acetylcholine that is being released by the pre
synaptic neuron attaches to receptors at the post synaptic neuron in order to generate a muscle
contraction. Basically the body produces antibodies that block, alter, or destroy these receptors thus
halting motor neurons from signaling the muscles to contract. It is currently unknown why the
body makes these antibodies. There are a multitude of ways of treating MG these include
anticholinesterase, steroid, and immunosuppressant medicines. In my paper, I will focus on the
most long term solution of thymectomy by first giving an overview of characteristics of the surgery,
then contrasting open thymectomy (trans sternal and trans cervical) and video assisted thoracic
surgery (VATS), and finally focusing on the overall effectiveness of the surgery. First we must
define the term thymectomy, why it is needed, who should receive it, and the goals of the surgery.
A thymectomy in layman s terms is the surgical removal of the thymusgland. The thymus plays a
major role in immune defense for the human body. As already stated MG is an autoimmune disease
in which the body makes antibodies that disrupts the function of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.
The thymus gland has been found as the main source of

Interaction Between Humans And The Environment
Theme 1: Interaction between humans and the environment.
About 10,000 BCE, the area that is now the Sahara desert was a grassy steppe land. Humans
prospered by hunting wild cattle, collecting grains, or catching fish. After about 9000 BCE, people
of eastern Sudan domesticated cattle and became nomadic herders.
After 5000 BCE, the northern half of Africa became hot and dry, driving humans and animals to
gather around bodies of water. Both Egypt and Nubia relied heavily on agriculture at least by 5000
BCE. At first, Egyptians easily cultivated, while Nubians had to create fields. Eventually,
demographic pressures forced Egypt to create sophisticated methods of agriculture.
Theme 2: Development and interactions of cultures.
For thousands of years, when the Sudanese buried kings they also routinely executed a group of
royal servants and entombed them with the king to serve him in the afterlife. Royal servants of
Egyptian and Nubian kingdoms were also part of rituals similar to those from Sudan.
The Sudanese developed religious beliefs that reflected their agricultural society, recognizing a
single divine force as the source of good and evil, which they associated with rain.
The early pharaohs claimed to be gods living on Earth in human form. Egyptians associated early
pharaohs with Horus, the sky god. Later, they viewed rulers as offspring of Amon, a sun god. They
considered the pharaoh a human sun overseeing affairs on the earth, and believed the pharaoh

Unit 9 Commercial Analysis Essay
Commercial Analysis Critical Thinking Unit 9 The first commercial I chose is from Sweden,
and aimed at a Swedish audience, however aside from statistics, the information given to us
could be presented anywhere in the world. The commercial begins showing an obviously
European hillside with grazing sheep and then cuts to a quaint pub at twilight, soft light from
the big windows glowing orange against the blue tint of the nighttime scene, a slow piano
melody is heard in the background. The narrator s voice starts speaking, in a thick cockney
accent saying For six generations, the house of Taman has created an exceptionally smooth
experience the scene cuts to the inside of this cozy pub. All the patrons are dressed in sweaters with
scarfs and there is a civil, almost idyllic look to everyone. There is a fire in the fireplace, everyone

The scene cuts again to a small rapid with water pouring over the rocks on a green hilly
backdrop. All the while the piano music plays in the background. The camera zooms in to a rock

Taman Whiskey. The golden brown liquid gently sloshes around in a circular motion, mirroring
the rapids and rocks seen before. The scene is again the pub with people sitting in comfortable
leather chairs and socializing. The camera lingers on a bottle of Taman beside a full glass, piano
playing in the background, the fireplace in the distance, yet visible in the frame. The narrator again:
Taman, smoothness in a bottle . The slogan Smoothness in a bottle appear on the screen in white
letters. By this point, all the classic tropes of the liquor advertising industry have been shown, the
viewer is lulled by the music and the narrator s slow gentle delivery, and it appears the commercial

Lab Report On Injection Molding
2.1Introduction
In this lab, we are requiring to observe the effect of injection molding process variables to the
tensile strength of Polypropylene (PP). As the outcome of this change, the specimen will be
measure as to determine its change of properties based on different variables. The process
variables that will be changes is injection pressure, and the material that be used as the specimen is
PP. The scope of this study is focusing on the simulation of tensile strengthon the raw materials
including determination of the effective parameters that contribute to the response.
2.2History of Injection Molding
The injection molding has grown since its beginnings in the late 1800 s. In 1868, John Wesley
Hyatt has created a way to make billiard balls by injecting celluloid into a mold. Thus, in 1872, both
John and his brother Isaiah Hyatt patented the injection molding machine. The machine was
primitive and it is suitable for their purposes, where it contained a basic plunger that used to inject
the plastic into a mold through a heated cylinder. In 1946, James Hendry has built the first screw
injection molding machine to replace Hyatt s plunger with an auger design, where the auger built is
placed inside the cylinder and mixes the injection material, before it pushing forward and injecting
the material into the mold. Nowadays, almost all injection molding machines use the same
technique as before. [2]

Beowulf Present Day Essay
The actions of our present day are often impacted by past events and ways of living. As many
people reflect on the past, it is easy to see how it has simple cultural experiences are still a part of
daily living. History is apparent Anglo Saxon culture influences the plot of Beowulf because many
events and actions that occur correlate with those that took place in history and past culture. It is
apparent that when Beowulfis brought to Herot to Grendel it is directly associated with Anglo
Saxon history. In historic times, it had been said that a lord led warriors; warriors fought for his
lord. Beowulf is essentially a warrior and Hrothgar is his lord. Even though Beowulf is from
another land, he still had to be granted permission from Hrothgar in order to kill Grendel.
Beowulf states, grant me, then, lord and protector of this noble place, A single request! (160).
With the permission from Hrothgar, Beowulf follows forward with killing Grendel. By doing so,
he is protecting the land of the Hrothgar just as a warrior would in the Anglo Saxon age. Not only

It is evident that the mead hall shares the same premise as a hearth hall would in the past.
During the Anglo Saxon time period, the hearth hall served as a building block. The lord wanted
to protect his land, and he would sometimes need a warrior to provide the security for him. The
lord would bring in men and have them stay in the hearth hall. This appears in Beowulf as King
Hrothgar s land needs to be protected from Grendel. The desperation for his land to be under
protection is apparent as he states a mighty prince mourning The fate of his lost friends and
companions, Knowing by its tracks that some demon had torn His followers apar. He wept,
fearing The beginning might not be the end (45). When Beowulf and his men stay in the mead

Nelson s Model Essay
Nelson s model has mainly two constituents. In order to understand them, you have to ask and
answer the question: What is occupation? This is sometimes a very challenging concept to
understand. Whenever this question is asked, there is no direct answer and there are often
many versions of the answer, all of which are accurate. In this essay, the popular question will be
explored according to Nelson s model. An example of a real life occupation will be included in
order to show both understanding and what the concept entails. I have played hockey during my
entire school career. It is something that I enjoy immensely, both playing and coaching. Hockey
requires many skills which include being able to work as a team, having good listening skills
and how to observe, predict and make speedy decisions. I always had practice three times a week
and a match once a week. Hockey required me to be able to do various things at once. I had to
run, dribble and observe at the same time. I needed to know who to pass the ball to and exactly
when to do so. Playing hockey taught me many skills such as punctuality, how to treat my body
with respect and appreciation, patience, good sportsmanship, how to accept something that
happened and to learn from it. Apart from the skills that I have learnt, playing hockey has kept me

with the Unique Device Identifier (UDI) requirement within the next one to three years. Most of
these medical device companies are not yet compliant and require a suitable solution to maintain
their FDA certification. Description of the Product PRISYM ID has developed global label

went viral on other platforms like Instagram and Facebook. The reach that just those three social
media channels have are much higher than can be measured. On YouTubealone the video has been
watched 31.8 million times. The flow, style, and pieces of the film seemed to be geared towards a

synonymous with bullying and lgbt struggles, which expands the audience to those who are much

introduced to the environment in the opening scene: the campus entrance of Newgate Junior HIgh

that teenagers and young adults do so too. Therefore, the generic visual of a brown brick school
building, symmetrical courtyard and bushes resonate with a large part of the film s viewers. And

of feeling defeated, lonely, and ostracized at school, and the social norms and obstacles of junior

the problem of violence in a society where there isn t any pornography. Another example is
Sexism and violence toward women, and men, was a reality long before pornography as we
know it today existed and long before there were facilities for the mass distribution of words and
images. Sexist and violent materials are symptoms of a sexist and violent society not the causes.
(Dority). Dority states that pornography isn t the problem because sexism and violence where
there first before pornography. People are the ones who created an environment that was use to
violent and sexism so they try to put the blame on porno because it is the easy way out. If we see
that in other countries pornography isn t the problem from violent or sexism, then why should we

First Amendment is freedom of speech, press, religion, peacefully assemble. McWilliams states
With censorship, we find another conservative liberal division over which activity justifies bending

What I Exporned That I Have Learned In My Life
In my life I have learned a lot about myself; the people in it have been a huge impact on the

they can bring out the best in you. I have learned that some people can have a negative impact on
your life and some people just aren t meant to stay. I ve learned that one person, if the right person,
can change you for the good.
When I first met Emily Moe I had no idea what kind of impact she would have on my life. As our

myself around emily and certain people, but everyone. She taught me that being yourself is one
of the most important things in life. Now, because of her I will carry this lesson throughout my

Intolerance During The Nazi Regime
Intolerance
The definition of intolerance is the unwillingness to accept views, beliefs, or behavior that differ
from one s own . There have been many times in history when people have been unwilling to
accept things that are different than what they belief. There has been the Nazi regime, whites
segregating blacks, people who disagree with people who are homesexual, and Donald Trump.
One example of intolerance is during the Nazi regime. When Hitler came to power in 1933, he
tried to imprison and kill all Jews and nobody for the most part tried to stop him. Hitler didn t stop
there though, he still thought that everyone who didn t have blonde hair and blue eyes were not
good enough, because they were not what he thought to be the perfect race. There was the
holocaust. There were about 42, 500 facilities in Germany that were used for slave labor, mass
murder, and other human right abuses. It is to be predicted that about 200,000 Jews died during
the Holocaust. Jews were hunted down and were forced to go into hiding. If they were caught, they
would be sent to concentration camps where many died. Six million Jews died, including 1.5

health mainly to chronic diseases. Alzheimer s disease (AD) is one of the most well known and
familiar diseases in the modern societies AD was first reported by Alois Alzheimer in 1907.The
AD is the most common type of dementia and a neurodegenerative disease characterized by the
damage of nerve cells in the cerebral cortex. The health statistics report that AD disease affects
more than 50 million people worldwide in 2003, it is expected this number to increase to 114
million by 2050.(1) It is reported that AD disease affect one in three people over the age 85.(2) The
symptoms of AD include depression, apathy, anxiety, agitation, aggression, delusions,
hallucinations, wandering, and inappropriate sexual behaviours.(3) AD patients suffer from
decrease in cognitive function and short term memory. AD is characterised by the formation of
insoluble clumps of protein or plaques, formed by proteins known as ОІ amyloids. These attach to
the cell surface of neurons and disabled nerve transmission. These plaques have been
demonstrated to contain relatively high levels of Zn2+, Cu2+ and Fe3+ (1 mM, 0.4 mM and 1
mM respectively).(4) While the precise role of these metals is still uncertain, they appear to bind to
so called ОІ amyloid peptides that constitute the bulk of plaque deposits. Cu2+

Sandy Hook Shootings
A group of angry and worried moms petition together the following day of the Sandy Elementary
Hook shooting. What started as a Facebook page plummeted rapidly turning into a lobbying force
on members of congress. Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America wanted more focus on
background checks on those who wanted to acquire guns within the United States. An alluring
illustration by the campaign is born. The ad that catches the eye depicts a banned children s
book. Two girls are side by side in a library flooded with shelves of books. On the right side
stands an American flag, and on the right sits an old rocking chair. The main focus is on the two
little girls sitting side by side cross legged. The girls are total opposites. The girl sitting on the right
beside the rocking chair is a short haired brunette holding an Assault weaponhalf her size. On the
left besides the American flag, an African American girl is holding a children s book, Little Red
Riding Hood. The ad asks the viewers to guess which item is banned in the United States. On the

Pastor s Report For The Laurel Church Of The Nazarene 2016
Pastor s Report for the Laurel Church of the Nazarene 2016
We have been spending some time with the verse from Luke(9:23) And he said to all, If any
man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. We
have sent the last month asking the question Are you a Fan or a follower? What makes us a
follower? What do we have to give up to be a follower? What will we exchange for our lives?
Everything we have is a gift from God. We owe him everything, including our very lives. It is
possible to give God our money, but not ourselves, or to give him lip service, but not our hearts.
A true disciple gives up all that he has in exchange for an unending life of joy and happiness with
God. Are you ready to lose all for Jesus Christ in order to gain all with Jesus Christ?
Take, Lord, and receive all my liberty, my memory, my understanding, and all my will, all that I
have and possess. You have given them to me; to you, O Lord, I restore them; all things are yours,
dispose of them according to your will. Give me your love and your grace, for this is enough for
me. (Prayer of Ignatius of Loyola, 1491 1556)
We want to be a follower of Christ. We give it all up for him since he gave it all to us. I just love
that prayer Give me your love and grace, for this is enough for me.
We have seen great things happen this year. Here is a list of items that changed the climate here.
We sold the parsonage which allowed us to put in air conditioning, the

Special Speech On Special Transition
Special Transition
( Intro optional) Hello and good evening everyone. Thank you for coming to witness this special
event. You are all are going to witness a special milestone that will forever be in our hearts.
Remember that your presence alone supports us in every way possible as we are going through a
special transition today. Now, I will start my speech.
A milestone. What is a milestone? Today, we are going to experience a milestone. A life milestone
that all of us, in the future, will look back to and talk about how things were back then to the
current lives we live in, the things we regret and the things we are proud of. We will someday,
remember what this moment meant for us. But that doesn t answer what a milestone ... Show more

But now that we are graduating, we are now considered a teenager, an adolescent, an alien, a young
adult, and all the other names out there. We, as the 2015, grade eight graduates will be transitioning
from elementary to high school, a child to an adolescent. However, graduating elementary isn t
the end, it just means that we just finished a chapter of our lives or the first novel of our trilogy.
The next step, which is being an actual adolescent is the second novel of our lives, it will be a
new beginning we somehow need to surmount. A more complicated, difficult looking life, which
actually isn t. Next year, when we are going for our first day of high school, it s a bigger world.
We ll meet new people with different knowledge, doings, ethnicity, religion, race, languages and
more. Personally, even I, who other people around me absolutely believe is ready for high
school, think of such worries like: What if I don t get my locker open in time? What if I can t
even open my locker? What if I get influenced badly in high school? What if I am late in the first
day of school? What if, what if , what if. A bunch of what if s that just restrains us from being
confident and proud of ourselves. Don t worry, just remember that the Holy Spirit dwells in your
body and that it ll help you down the road. Focus more on the positives of life. In high school, the
fact that we can get to meet

Insurance Advantages And Disadvantages
Benefits and impediments of insurance coverage
The add on in the insurance is the protection that is offered by the insurance provider at the time of
sale and it promises to reimburse for the damage of the product.
One of the integral parts of owning a vehicle is the having a motor insurance, but many people think
of it as an annual recurring expenditure. On the other hand, the motor insurances offer many add
ons that benefit the users by acting as a protective shield for the vehicle. In the current situation
purchasing a general motor insurance is not sufficient enough, and so many vehicle insurance
companies are offering their consumers with various add on packages as a part of the insurance
policy.
Add ons offered by the auto insurance provider
Accident coverage: Depending on the insurance company, this personal accident coverage
includes the paid driver and the vehicle owner, and if the person is an owner and the driver of
the car tem they are entitled with the 100% claim in the case of accidents or personal injuries.
But, the drawback of this personal accident coverage is that, if the vehicle is owned by the firm or

When all the add on packages have limited segments, this particular add on has no limits in the

damages caused due to the accident. And most of the auto insurance providers offer this coverage
only for the first 3 years of purchase of the vehicle, but if the vehicle is older, then the premium
will be higher for the zero depreciation policy. This add on policy is a win win situation for both
the insurance provider and the consumer because the consumer receives the complete claim for the
damages caused during the

Analysis Of Sacrifice In Cyrano De Bergerac By Edmond Rostand
Sometimes in life, it takes a tragic scenario for us to learn a lesson. In the play Cyrano de
Bergerac by Edmond Rostand, the plot tells of a man named Cyrano who has a large nose and is
unable to reveal his love to a woman named Roxane, so he poses under the name of a handsome
man named Christian to win Roxane s love. The two use what they lack from each other to
eventually win her love, but the deaths of both Christian and Cyrano in the end reveal that if one
loves and cares about someone, then one should sacrifice one s own needs for them.
The first death we witness in the play is Christian s when he is in battle and readers can learn that
one must come to their own truths before one dies. There Roxanne risks her life to come see
Christian on the battlefield. Christian asks Roxanne, And now, Roxane, tell... Show more content

Unfortunately, before Christian was able to confess to Roxane, he is shot by the opposing
enemy and his life ended shortly afterwards. Christian was never able to come to his own truths
before he dies, and instead he asks Cyrano to confess to Roxanne of the truth. Cyrano had the
perfect chance to confess his love, but was placed in a position that would cause Roxanne more
to grief. Cyrano decides to sacrifice his chance of love with Roxanne for the better of both
Roxanne and Christian. Cyrano decides to lie to Christian as he had his last breath of life and told
him that he confessed to Roxanne, and she still loved Christian, but in reality he had said nothing
to save Roxanne from another heartbreak and so Christian died happy. This is a great example of
sacrificing your own needs for the benefit of

The Character Of Don Giovanni
Don Giovanni is the protagonist of one of the most famous Mozart s operas. Mozart s protagonist
is based of the Spanish tale s character named Don Juan, a famous womanizer. According to
Cambridge Dictionary, a hero is defined as a person admire for bravery, great achievements, or
good qualities, [1] it can be said that Don Giovanniis brave, at his standards has some great
achievements, and has some good qualities such as fearlessness, courage, and firm to his beliefs.
One of the main reasons why some people label Don Giovanni as a villain is because at the
beginning of the operaDonna Anna claims that Giovanni has raped her and then calls him a
murder when he kills her father. When taken a closer look at those specific scenes, such claims
are less credible. Instead of being afraid like a usual rape victim, she seems furious. The claim of
rape gets even more questionable when Donna Anna s first recrimination is betrayer, instead of
rapist. It gives the impression that she appears to be angry at the fact that he is leaving her.
Describing Don Giovanni as a murder also seems to be inaccurate. It has to be clarified that
killing someone in a duel is not a murder. Donna s father was the one who challenged Don
Giovanni. He clearly knew that the only outcome was for one of them to die, and that there was
a chance that it could be him. It is also important to take into account that Giovanni repeatedly
refused to fight. Music helps to describe the characters, Every character stands out in the musical
picture. [3] It can be an indication of how he is portrayed as a hero. Mozart shows Don Giovanni
as courageous, strong and confident. When analyzing music, it can notice that Giovanni gets
great music. Mozart provides Don Giovanni with an aria that explicitly embraces his philosophy
of enjoying life: the famous champagne aria, Finch han dal vino. [2] This music is presented as full
of life and celebration which means that Don is shown as the force of life. It can be also be
deduced who Don is by contrasting his character with other s. Mozart also tells us who Don
Giovanni is by telling us who he is not. [3] Leporello is depicted as a character who is a whiner,
coward, and a follower. In one of the final

Physical Evidence As Document
Buckland s article raises the question of what is a Document . Buckland gathers opinions from
different articles and documentalists, and explains from different perspectives. From my point of
view, I agree the opinion of Physical Evidence as Document. (Buckland 1997) The document should
not be a natural object or element without any human interpretation or reproduction. It s true that as
mentioned in the article, stones like fossils, are documents but they are natural objects. However,
these stones can convey or express information with human interpretation. For example, the fossils
can tell the existence of an animal, and the life condition in that era. In the article of Enduring
Paradigm, New Opportunities written by Anne J. Gilliland Swetland,

How Does Margaret Atwood Use Feminism In The Penelopiad
Feminism Margaret Atwood is known for her literary works that characterizes her as a strong
feminist. One of her books is The Penelopiad. Atwood allows the voiceless Odysseus s wife,
Penelope, to reveal her side of the story as well as the twelve maids who were hung to be weaved
in through poetic injections. As Penelope speaks to the 21st century readers, she is giving readers
an insight into the patriarchal society during the time period. Margaret Atwood s creativity,
imagination, and her views of feminism allow Penelope to speak in first person about her own
experience. Atwood effectively incorporates the twelve maids to show double standards of gender
roles. She explores the concept of words using colloquial language in The Penelopiad as... Show

She reveals feminism through the use of double standards in gender roles and in different culture
settings, colloquial language to show readers Penelope s side of the story branched off of the
Odyssey, and the application of different genres in the chorus line showing relationships from the
genre to the concept of the maids chorus lines. The use of double standards serves a purpose in
Atwood s book because it shows readers the difference in Penelope s time period to the 21st
century and the gender roles, for an example Odysseus and Penelope. The double standards of the
twelve maids execution reveal that it was common for men to rape women during that time
period. As for the double standards in relevance to Odysseus and Penelope, Odysseus was
involved with many women but expected Penelope to remain faithful. The analysis of double
standards found in this book shows Margaret Atwood s feminist view. In The Penelopiad,
Margaret Atwood explores the concept of words using colloquial language in which Penelope is
given the voice to narrate her own story. She allows Penelope to speak of her oppressed life as a
woman during her time period and what happened while Odysseus was away through her
perspective. By the effective use of colloquial language, readers understand Penelope as if she is
conversing to the 21st century readers. Atwood also links the different kinds of genre to the concept
of the maids

Analysis Of Diary Of A Wimpy Kid
Have you ever read a book where you read all about a lousy teenagers problems? Maybe even his
whole life. His crazy embarrassing family, and his weirdo friends. Diary of a Wimpy Kid. A
great book written by the one and only Jeff Kinney. Greg Heffley, the main character, is a wimpy
kid and most likely will never change his ways. Someone tries to tell Gregs father, Frank. Frank
tries to get his son to man up a little bit and signs him up for sports and clubs. Which, obviously
did not work. ... I got down off the deck and started climbing up the tree... I couldn t believe my
ears. I guess dad felt like he owed me for saving him yesterday, and this was his way of paying
me back (Kinney 109 and 113). The theme of the novel is to be strong because someone will do
something about it. The passage above connects to this theme because Greg had to man up to
climb the tree to retrieve his baby brothers blanket after he threw it into a tree off of the deck.
Afterwards, his father did not want to take a turn playing a game because he did not want to sit
next to someone that he did not like. Therefore Greg took his place and basically saved his life
for the day. Although Greg s ways may never change he definitely made some progress with
manning up on that day. One setting from this novel that is important to this book is the Heffley
household. It is important to the book because if it weren t for the Heffley house, many events
would not have happened. Like Greg s dad finding out his

Human Nature Behind The Scenes:
The Science and Function of Facial Machines
Every species on this planet has their own idea of what they find attractive but the universal sign for
courting, chemistry and breeding is a healthy appearance; whatever that may mean for that
particular plant, insect, animal or hominid. Your personal affectation can be curtailed by dull,
damaged, ruddy or sallow skin due to health complications, heredity or negligence; it seems more
prevalent though to find that merely living in our accelerated world of high demand in the
workplace, copious amounts of caffeine and fast food, and environmental disadvantages such as
pollution and diminished ozone protection cause stress and strain on every system, especially the ...

  • 2. The Wager Line Analysis Everything begins with a foundation page that has Meow, the fortunate feline, taking up the greater part of the screen in front a light red foundation finish with yellow images of various sizes. Proceeding onward to the diversion, the foundation shading turns out to be considerably darker. As there is no significant foundation region, the red truly stands out. Not just do the little images show up in various sizes, however in a few shades of red. The 5 reels that make up the diversion are utilized as a component of a Chinese hovel, yet what emerges is the absence of the amusement s title. There s a Max Bet which empowers a wager of 200.0 and a somewhat flawless Auto Play which gives choices of 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100, and even a vast alternative. Give the great times a chance to roll. The music when playing isn t anything unique, with fundamental sound impacts and the odd whimper where proper. Somewhat baffling truly. The payable is one of the neatest ones around, proceeding with the red foundation, however this time without the brightening shapes. Each of the images is in a darker red box, with the three extra ones above. The Wildcard is the place the genuine power is. • 3. The Beliefs Of Donald Trump And Trump Criticism These are the NFL Players Protesting today amid Trump Criticism Are Americans going about protesting their beliefs in the correct way? Standing during the National Anthem has been a way Americans show respect for their country since the 1800 s, therefore not standing is nothing short of disrespectful. Last year, former pro quarterback Colin Kaepernick started kneeling during the National Anthem because he believed standing was social and racial injustice and players today have followed his actions. After a statement from President Trump on Sunday, September 24th, there has been nothing but more chaos and protests throughout our Nation s professional football teams. All American citizens should know and understand that protesting is perfectly acceptable but protesting and disrespecting something that is completely irrelevant is not, there is nothing anyone can do about who the elected President is and you can t take everything Donald Trump says seriously, but regardless of the situation, it is never acceptable Kneel during our National Anthem. America is a country all about freedom, therefore those who choose to protest have every right to do so but disrespecting something that has been a part of the American tradition for over two hundred years is not the right way to go about it. Colin Kaepernick started the trend of kneeling during the National Anthem last year and said he refuses to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of ... • 4. New Yorker Book Cover In 1942 America has recently joined WWII to fight against Germany and Japan after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Many news outlets such as the New Yorker have provided information about the war but what stands out from the others are there covers. The New Yorker use many covers reflecting both on the war itself and on the impact of the conflict on American culture. From these two covers we can see how the New Yorkerhas chosen the repetition of war to portray these covers from this important cultural event, as well as which scenes were chosen for portrayal, can help to show how Americans at the time viewed the war itself, and its impact on their culture which of it were most important to people at the time. Published in September 5, 1942 by the same artist Constantine Alajalov, we can see by the first view of the cover on how the war has impacted the American industry. During the time of the war, many able bodied men were either getting trained or in combat and with the high demand of labor for war industries, many women for the first time have entered the work force performing jobs that usually only men can handle. From this cover we see both men and women taking their lunch breaks, the interesting part is how they re being represented. In one side we see the men all dispirited from their work in plain darken clothes, while we see the women sitting in a circle all talking and laughing dressed in bright colorful clothes. This possibly reflects the different attitudes toward their work of the two groups. The women depicted here seems very pleased with the work they re doing and helping as much as they can in the war, since before WWII they only been able to help in limited ways. On the other hand, the men working here have likely been rejected by the army, who would prefer to be fighting than working in a factory. Constantin Alajalov painted this picture possibly to show how it reflects the different attitudes toward work which the American people had based upon their gender and their situations, as well as some tensions in which the war has created. These two pictures have a deeper meaning within it, possibly the artist wanted to show how young soldiers would viewed if they joined and an outcome how the war effected the ... • 5. The Byronic Hero And Satire George Noel Gordon, Lord Byron and Percy Shelley were two poets who wrote during the Romantic and Victorian eras, but are still world renowned today. Although Byron and Shelley were friends, their writing styles differed greatly. Byron wrote his poetry based on the idea of negative romanticism, which sought to reject the fixed views of the previous era. Negative romanticismis negative, critical, cynical, and anti Platonism. Byron s negative romanticism looked to the past and was manifested in the use of the Byronic hero and satire. In contrast, Shelley wrote his poetrybased on the idea of positive romanticism, which tried to find something to build up what Byron tore down through his negative romanticism. Positive romanticism focused on a new orientation, new metaphors, a new world picture, and new myths, which were rooted in Platonism. Byron and Shelley were complete opposites of each other, but seemed to balance each other out, similarly to the yin and yang. When considering Byron s poetry, one must understand the Byronic hero. The Byronic hero is an anti hero that has various negative and positive aspects, such as being both remorseful and unrepentant, alienated, exiled, a wanderer, guilt ridden, estranged, and both proud and aloof. Furthermore, this character is faithful to a lofty ideal and freedom loving. Byron s poem, Prometheus is a perfect illustration of the use of the Byronic hero as a manifestation for negative romanticism. This poem is based on the Greek ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Analyzing Robert Palmer s What Pop Lyrics Say To Us Today In What Pop Lyrics Say to Us Today writer Robert Palmer analyzes pop lyrics over the recent decades and concludes pop music sends dominant messages that are influential to young people. Pop has always thoroughly responded to current events, and today s pop music continues to reflect that culture. To begin with, pop can change attitudes toward love. Palmer first refers to stars such as Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones who endorse sex to urge social change and revolution. Their music was a voice and reminder to older generations that they possessed influential power. True romantic notions tend to be viewed with some suspicion. Palmer also discusses how in comparison to music of the 60 s, idealisms have changed since current times. The Beatles ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 8. Indian Camp Analysis Kian Cato September 17, 2017 From fishing trip to the birth of a baby to an unexplained suicide, Nick has had a very interesting day. Indian Camp is centered around the main character Nick who is a young boy and his father is a doctor. From the short story Indian Camp , by Ernest Hemingway, Nick experiences his first time seeing several things happening as graphic as child birth with C section and suicide, things he had never seen before and had no idea that he was about to experience that in his life. From the reading, the young Indian seems reluctant to look at the episode head on however he was a good help to his dad. I also observed that Nick is not a tough person, that he is sensitive, passionate and caring. Oh, daddy can t you give her something to make her stop screaming? I think that Nick might have been too young to be experiencing such a grownup episode as childbirth and under the circumstance as a C section and mortality. I also think that his father may have pushed this experience on him a little too soon. As it turns out Nick still too young to really process the idea of mortality and Nick s father had to explain to him a whole lot more than he expected to do. He was looking away so as not to see what his father was doing. Nick did not watch. His curiosity had been gone for a long time. • 9. Nietzsche Good Vs Evil The Good, The Bad, and The Jealous: An Examination of Ressentiment, according to Nietzsche In his book, Genealogy of Morals, Nietzsche examines the origins of Good and Evil. He postures that these two concepts are derived from language, rather than essential morality. He argues that people label things as good or evil based upon their personal feelings and position of privilege. Douglas Smith translated this edition of Genealogy of Morals into English, but he also included explanations of some of Nietzsche s key concepts. According to Smith, A central concept in Nietzsche s argument, ressentiment is the essence of slave morality, a purely reactive mode of feeling which simply negates the active and spontaneous affirmation of values on the part of the nobility (142). Ressentiment stems from the oppressed party s jealousy. The oppressed do not accept that it is bad that they do not have the luxuries and rights that the nobility posses. Instead, the oppressed use ressentiment, flip the moral spectrum, and declare that those luxuries are evil. When the IOC selected Berlin as the site for the 1936 Summer Olympic Games, they had no idea that in just a few short years Germany would be transformed from a humble, desperate state to a ruthless and power hungry empire. The first part of German Society to undergo a transformation by the Nazi Party was the German government, which underwent a major change on January 30, 1933, [when] the German President, Paul von Hindenburg, appointed Adolf Hitler chancellor, the head of the government. (Bachrach 16). In order to gain power and stay in power, the Nazi Party needed to win over the hearts and minds of the German people; in order to do this, Hitler and the Nazis promised [the] birth of a New Germany, giving hope to many Germans fearful of the future. To accomplish their goal of giving birth to a New Germany, the policies of the Nazi government were aimed at restoring Germany s importance as a country, following its defeat in the First World War. Its methods, in addition to strong nationalist rhetoric and demonstrations, included targeting groups it claimed to be responsible for the economic ills of the country, principally Jews, who became the regime s preferred target of discrimination. Despite his appealing costume, the boy is wearing a scary mask on his face. The mask is a skeleton s face with its mouth and eyes wide open. Mickey Mouse s face on the boy s costume, is smiling, which is a contradictory expression to the mask. • 20. Theme Of Innocence In Catcher In The Rye Everyone grows. Growth as well as loss of innocence protrude throughout every human being, changing each. Everyday men, women, and children grow, but some days more than others. One such day was that of my great grandmother s death. My grandma had been only nine years old when her mother died of cancer. Having no other older siblings and a working father, my grief filled grandmother, left with no option, had to quit school and learn to cook and clean for her two year old brother. She had undertaken the job of a parent at only nine years old. The loss of her innocence occured at that moment, where my grandma had grown more than any other point in her lifetime. This compares to the struggle Holden Caulfield, a 16 year old boy, goes through in a coming of age story by J.D. Salinger. In The Catcher in the Rye, J.D. Salinger illustrates our humanneedto protect the innocence of others. The setting of the novel furthers the idea that humans need to protect innocence of others. Holden opts to preserve the pure snow when given the chance to disturb it. This occurs when Holden had just crafted a snowball and he felt rushed, requiring him to discard of the ball. He started to throw it. At the car that was parked across the street. But [he] changed [his] mind. The snow looked so nice and white (36). When I reached my high school years, I noticed I wasn t the best at the soccer. Now, I see myself improved in accuracy, chemistry, and teamwork. First, my high school coach stated I needed improvement on my accuracy skills. What my coach meant was that the ball had to go to where I meant it to go. For example, if I passed the ball to one of my teammates it would have had to go to him and not the opponent. Back then, I would accidentally embarrass myself by losing the ball because of a sloppy and weak pass. According to my coach, another area I needed improvement was my crosses. Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a neuromuscular auto immune disease that is characterized by fatigable weakness in the skeletal muscles. This occurs at the neuromuscular junction, in which acetylcholine that is being released by the pre synaptic neuron attaches to receptors at the post synaptic neuron in order to generate a muscle contraction. Basically the body produces antibodies that block, alter, or destroy these receptors thus halting motor neurons from signaling the muscles to contract. It is currently unknown why the body makes these antibodies. There are a multitude of ways of treating MG these include anticholinesterase, steroid, and immunosuppressant medicines. In my paper, I will focus on the most long term solution of thymectomy by first giving an overview of characteristics of the surgery, then contrasting open thymectomy (trans sternal and trans cervical) and video assisted thoracic surgery (VATS), and finally focusing on the overall effectiveness of the surgery. First we must define the term thymectomy, why it is needed, who should receive it, and the goals of the surgery. A thymectomy in layman s terms is the surgical removal of the thymusgland. Humans prospered by hunting wild cattle, collecting grains, or catching fish. After about 9000 BCE, people of eastern Sudan domesticated cattle and became nomadic herders. After 5000 BCE, the northern half of Africa became hot and dry, driving humans and animals to gather around bodies of water. Both Egypt and Nubia relied heavily on agriculture at least by 5000 BCE. At first, Egyptians easily cultivated, while Nubians had to create fields. Eventually, demographic pressures forced Egypt to create sophisticated methods of agriculture. Theme 2: Development and interactions of cultures. For thousands of years, when the Sudanese buried kings they also routinely executed a group of royal servants and entombed them with the king to serve him in the afterlife. Royal servants of Egyptian and Nubian kingdoms were also part of rituals similar to those from Sudan. The Sudanese developed religious beliefs that reflected their agricultural society, recognizing a single divine force as the source of good and evil, which they associated with rain. The early pharaohs claimed to be gods living on Earth in human form. Egyptians associated early pharaohs with Horus, the sky god. Later, they viewed rulers as offspring of Amon, a sun god. In 1868, John Wesley Hyatt has created a way to make billiard balls by injecting celluloid into a mold. Thus, in 1872, both John and his brother Isaiah Hyatt patented the injection molding machine. The machine was primitive and it is suitable for their purposes, where it contained a basic plunger that used to inject the plastic into a mold through a heated cylinder. In 1946, James Hendry has built the first screw injection molding machine to replace Hyatt s plunger with an auger design, where the auger built is placed inside the cylinder and mixes the injection material, before it pushing forward and injecting the material into the mold. People like friends and family have helped shape me into the person I have become. It can be scary how easily someone can change you, but with the help of true friends they can bring out the best in you. I have learned that some people can have a negative impact on your life and some people just aren t meant to stay. I ve learned that one person, if the right person, can change you for the good. When I first met Emily Moe I had no idea what kind of impact she would have on my life. As our friendship has grown she has showed me more and more about my own self. She is always herself around everyone and never changes for people. That is the first thing I have learned from her; do not change yourself to get the attention of others. Since meeting Emily I never felt the need to be someone else when I was around her. It took a little longer to realize that I shouldn t just be myself around emily and certain people, but everyone. She taught me that being yourself is one of the most important things in life. Now, because of her I will carry this lesson throughout my life. I ve seen other people act differently when around certain people and it make you wonder if they re happy being someone else. I ve been there, pretending to be someone you re not, and you might be happy for awhile, but knowing that you re friends aren t really accepting you for you can be upsetting. I ... There have been many times in history when people have been unwilling to accept things that are different than what they belief. There has been the Nazi regime, whites segregating blacks, people who disagree with people who are homesexual, and Donald Trump. One example of intolerance is during the Nazi regime. When Hitler came to power in 1933, he tried to imprison and kill all Jews and nobody for the most part tried to stop him. Hitler didn t stop there though, he still thought that everyone who didn t have blonde hair and blue eyes were not good enough, because they were not what he thought to be the perfect race. There was the holocaust. There were about 42, 500 facilities in Germany that were used for slave labor, mass murder, and other human right abuses. It is to be predicted that about 200,000 Jews died during the Holocaust. Jews were hunted down and were forced to go into hiding. Pastor s Report For The Laurel Church Of The Nazarene 2016 Pastor s Report for the Laurel Church of the Nazarene 2016 We have been spending some time with the verse from Luke(9:23) And he said to all, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. We have sent the last month asking the question Are you a Fan or a follower? What makes us a follower? What do we have to give up to be a follower? What will we exchange for our lives? Everything we have is a gift from God. We owe him everything, including our very lives. It is possible to give God our money, but not ourselves, or to give him lip service, but not our hearts. Take, Lord, and receive all my liberty, my memory, my understanding, and all my will, all that I have and possess. You have given them to me; to you, O Lord, I restore them; all things are yours, dispose of them according to your will. Give me your love and your grace, for this is enough for me. • 47. The Character Of Don Giovanni Don Giovanni is the protagonist of one of the most famous Mozart s operas. Mozart s protagonist is based of the Spanish tale s character named Don Juan, a famous womanizer. According to Cambridge Dictionary, a hero is defined as a person admire for bravery, great achievements, or good qualities, [1] it can be said that Don Giovanniis brave, at his standards has some great achievements, and has some good qualities such as fearlessness, courage, and firm to his beliefs. One of the main reasons why some people label Don Giovanni as a villain is because at the beginning of the operaDonna Anna claims that Giovanni has raped her and then calls him a murder when he kills her father. When taken a closer look at those specific scenes, such claims are less credible. Instead of being afraid like a usual rape victim, she seems furious. The claim of rape gets even more questionable when Donna Anna s first recrimination is betrayer, instead of rapist. It gives the impression that she appears to be angry at the fact that he is leaving her. Describing Don Giovanni as a murder also seems to be inaccurate. It has to be clarified that killing someone in a duel is not a murder. Donna s father was the one who challenged Don Giovanni. He clearly knew that the only outcome was for one of them to die, and that there was a chance that it could be him. It is also important to take into account that Giovanni repeatedly refused to fight. Music helps to describe the characters, Every character stands out in the musical picture. [3] It can be an indication of how he is portrayed as a hero. Mozart shows Don Giovanni as courageous, strong and confident. When analyzing music, it can notice that Giovanni gets great music. Mozart provides Don Giovanni with an aria that explicitly embraces his philosophy of enjoying life: the famous champagne aria, Finch han dal vino. [2] This music is presented as full of life and celebration which means that Don is shown as the force of life. It can be also be deduced who Don is by contrasting his character with other s. Mozart also tells us who Don Giovanni is by telling us who he is not. [3] Leporello is depicted as a character who is a whiner, coward, and a follower. In one of the final ...
