Let's face it; we're not really artists (except for the artists). But that doesn't mean we can't contribute to the images on the internet. Whether you're a Photoshop guru, or don't even own a Mac, we can still make valuable contributions to ensure our digital assets are crisp and professional. In this talk, we'll look at some basic command-line tools for creating, modifying, and managing images, and look at how we can manage them properly on the web. We'll play with sprites, responsive images for these new retina displays, and techniques for optimizing performance on lower bandwidth connections and mobile web.

Storyboarding an existing great concept, we software folks adapted it from animation world. I just tried to explain storyboarding in laymen language by giving actual definition and showing the similarity. Just give an idea have done basic Ball animation in Expression blend and created silverlight file.
A brief approach of simulation in VFX & Games environment, I talked about some common concepts in simulation media like crowds and fluid simulation in physics engines. Also The Interstellar Case, about the Gargantua Black Hole simulation was amazing and I wanted to share it. And about some simulation games, that are commonly used for analysis in real-games environments.
Here is the ppt on VFX-Visual effects in which i have included:
-vfx,CGI,some of the categories of vfx, short view of founder ofmarvel comics and ILM-industrial light and magic and examples of same,etc......

Better DITA Graphics for a Multi-Screen WorldJoe Pairman
Good visual communication is essential, yet graphics are often an afterthought in DITA implementations. We need a new approach to make them work well over an increasing range of screen sizes, devices, and contexts.
Graphics illustrate relationships, demonstrate subtle concepts, and build emotional connections with brands. But they have to look clear and attractive over many screen sizes and software tools. As our image libraries grow, we can't keep manually tweaking different versions for different outputs.
Image processing tools are smart enough to handle this automatically; we just need to set up the rules. But the key to success is information architecture: the same needs analysis, planning, and content type definitions that we'd apply to any structured content solution.
Getting Intimate with Images on Android with James HalpernFITC

OVERVIEW
As most Android developers know, dealing with the extreme degree of fragmentation in the Android ecosystem is often challenging. Among the more difficult challenges is managing memory usage, as devices that are in the market today can have as little as 13MB of memory. Now imagine the pains that developers go through when faced with the headache of having massive bitmaps eat up memory in a millisecond.
In this presentation, James Halpern will talk about the complexities of image and memory management in Android and walk you through the creation of a successful, powerful and open source image management utility. Come to this presentation to learn about techniques that will help you optimize the performance of your apps. Learn about Android’s memory limitations and the role the garbage collector plays in your app’s performance and complexity. Learn how to communicate android graphics issues to developers, and how good design can create fewer bugs. James will conclude this presentation by briefly walking you through his open sourced image management solution that gracefully handles most of these issues in a simple to use package.

Bringing Photos to Life in 3D with Photoshop and After Effects Richard Harrington
Have you looked at a photo and wished you were there, or wondered what the scene looked like to the photographer? Now you can bring your photos to life by adding motion and depth. Author Rich Harrington reveals how you can transport your photos into a three-dimensional world using Adobe Photoshop and After Effects. The technique is useful for documentary filmmaking, web content, and TV commercials.

AAA 3D GRAPHICS ON THE WEB WITH REACTJS + BABYLONJS + UNITY3D by Denis Radin ...DevClub_lv
Building photorealistic 3D experiences on the Web is a challenge. Making it with React is even harder but once you got there it pays off in many ways. This talk is about Evolution Gaming approach of working with 3D graphics on the Web using ReactJS with the goal to build the most sophisticated and expensive WebGL application ever created.
JS Fest 2019.

The cloud is here, and there’s a lot more to it than just scaling servers up and down. New paradigms have emerged from cloud services that enable you to break down complex problems into much simpler solutions. With new tools and techniques, yesterday’s monstrous enterprise applications can be replaced by scalable and cheaper cloud applications of tomorrow. In this session you will see the architecture of a large enterprise application dissected into its components: web services, storage of both structured and non-structured data, message queuing and delivery, and notifications. With the availability of developer-friendly APIs, it is easier than ever before to leverage the many cloud services offered by Amazon Web Services.
Injecting custom code into authentication and authorization in ASP.NET has always been tedious at best. AspNet.Identity is a new library shipping with MVC 5, built to replace both ASP.NET Membership and Simple Membership. AspNet.Identity makes it much easier to implement custom authentication and authorization without the need to rewrite core components. In this session I will go deep into the abstractions that AspNet.Identity builds atop of, and show how to take advantage of these hook points to implement a custom membership system.

Wireless communication involves the transmission of information over a distance without the help of wires, cables or any other forms of electrical conductors.
Wireless communication is a broad term that incorporates all procedures and forms of connecting and communicating between two or more devices using a wireless signal through wireless communication technologies and devices.
Features of Wireless Communication
The evolution of wireless technology has brought many advancements with its effective features.
The transmitted distance can be anywhere between a few meters (for example, a television's remote control) and thousands of kilometers (for example, radio communication).
Wireless communication can be used for cellular telephony, wireless access to the internet, wireless home networking, and so on.
