2. 0 To become effective communicators: Advocate for self by using their voice for questions/concerns which will build self-confidence, accountability for actions, be respectful of others, & good listeners To become independent workers: foster responsibility, make appropriate choices for their needs, fully prepared each day, and try with 100% effort To become more critical, analytical thinkers: promote academic success in all areas- learn from mistakes & apply skills in different settings My Expectations of Students: This is an important year for fifth graders. As we (parents & teachers) prepare them for the middle school, we will need to work as a team.
