This is the age of technology . Its influence is being reflected in all fields . 
Education too , technology being a developmental endeavour aiming at raising the 
level of productivity of a nation . Pedagogy implies the science of teaching 
.Technology in professional development is a complex issue . Due to the 
constantly changing nature and development of new technology , a gap exists in 
researching the effectiveness of new tools on teaching and learning Techno-pedagogy 
demands that life world experience be enmeshed in hyper learning . 
Techno-pedagogy refers to weaving the techniques of the craft of teaching into 
the learning itself. It requires conscious recognition of the mediated learning 
environment in order to maximize the ease and clarity in the transmission of 
information . Positioning educational technologies as artifacts within their social 
applications of teaching and learning , and providing a grammar of practice 
identifying specific techno-pedagogical competencies allows faculty to make " the 
work of practitioners at the center of professional study " in a community of 
practice. Techno - Pedagogy may be defined as electronically mediated courses that 
integrate sound pedagogic principles of teaching/learning with the use of technology.

Commerce is the exchange of items of value between Persons or 
Companies. Any exchange of money for a product, service or information is considered a 
deal of Commerce. The Internet and an efficient postal system have made International 
Commerce convenient for business as well as individuals. 
Technological - pedagogical knowledge is an understanding of how teaching 
and learning change when particular technologies are used . This includes 
knowing the pedagogical affordances and constraints of a range of technological tools 
and resources as they relate to disciplinarily and developmentally appropriate 
pedagogical designs and strategies. Developing TPK requires building an understanding 
of the potential benefits and limitations of particular technologies as they can be
applied within particular types of learning activities, as well as the educational contexts 
within which these technologically supported activities function best. 
An important aspect of TPK is the creative flexibility with available tools 
necessary in planning to use them for specific pedagogical purposes . The Technological 
Pedagogical Content Knowledge is a collaboratively developed framework of 
scholars and researchers seeking to conceptualize and clarify the competencies 
that evolve from the intersection between technology and pedagogy .
 Pedagogical knowledge (PK): 
Knowledge of nature of teaching and learning, 
including teaching methods, classroom management, instructional planning, assessment 
of student learning, etc. 
 Content knowledge (CK): 
Knowledge of the subject matter to be taught (e.g., 
earth science, mathematics, language arts, etc.) 
 Technology knowledge (TK): 
Continually changing and evolving knowledge base 
that includes knowledge of technology for information processing, communications, and 
problem solving, and focuses on the productive applications of technology in both work 
and daily life 
 Pedagogical content knowledge (PCK): 
Knowledge of the pedagogies, teaching practices, and 
planning processes that are applicable and appropriate to teaching a given subject 
matter
Technological content knowledge (TCK): 
Knowledge of the relationship between subject 
matter and technology, including knowledge of technology that has influenced and is 
used in exploring a given content discipline. 
 Technological pedagogical knowledge (TPK): 
Knowledge of the influence of technology on teaching 
and learning as well as the affordances and constraints of technology with regard to 
pedagogical designs and strategies 
 Technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPCK): 
Knowledge of the complex interaction among the 
principle knowledge domains (content, pedagogy, technology) 
Most likely, however, Commerce curriculum will eventually absorb e-commerce, 
just as it has absorbed information systems, globalization, and other “hot” 
topics in the world of business. Ten years from now, the word "business” will 
automatically mean digital signatures, online supply chains, electronic payments, and all 
the other elements of today’s “e-commerce.” For the time being, however, academic
needs e-commerce courses to bridge the gap. Since the foundation of studies in this 
area is higher secondary in commerce, the learners should be updated with the latest 
changes in technology. For this a teacher should analyse techno-pedagogical aspects. 
FEW methods of TECHNOLOGY IN COMMERCE CLASSROOMS FOR 
In the era of dynamic changes in the field of commerce, trade 
and industry, IT has a pivotal role to play in the education of that discipline. The role of 
IT in commerce education goes far beyond the direct use of instructional devices. Some 
of the methods of technology for effective instruction in commerce classrooms (techno-pedagogic 
analysis in commerce education) are discussed below:- 
 E-LEARNING 
 Virtual learning environment (VLE) 
 Virtual field trip 
 PEDAGOGY AND E-LEARNING 
 Internet as a Mass Media 
 INTERACTIVE CD-ROMS 
 POWER POINT PRESENTATION 
 COMPUTERISED ACCOUNTING 
 Blended Learning.
Techno-pedagogic analysis is very much important in a learner 
centered education system. Now-a- days it is an integral part of curriculum in all teacher 
education programmes. Techno-pedagogic analysis is a very complex process which is to 
be done with skill and utmost care. Through the techno-pedagogy we can make the 
learning experiences vivid and thorough. Techno-pedagogic analysis will be more useful 
to arts discipline like commerce, as it can dramatically improve the learning 
performance of students as well as the teaching productivity and effectiveness of 
teachers.

  • 2. This is the age of technology . Its influence is being reflected in all fields . Education too , technology being a developmental endeavour aiming at raising the level of productivity of a nation . Pedagogy implies the science of teaching .Technology in professional development is a complex issue . Due to the constantly changing nature and development of new technology , a gap exists in researching the effectiveness of new tools on teaching and learning Techno-pedagogy demands that life world experience be enmeshed in hyper learning . Techno-pedagogy refers to weaving the techniques of the craft of teaching into the learning itself. It requires conscious recognition of the mediated learning environment in order to maximize the ease and clarity in the transmission of information . Positioning educational technologies as artifacts within their social applications of teaching and learning , and providing a grammar of practice identifying specific techno-pedagogical competencies allows faculty to make " the work of practitioners at the center of professional study " in a community of practice. Techno - Pedagogy may be defined as electronically mediated courses that integrate sound pedagogic principles of teaching/learning with the use of technology. [Definition from H. Connors (2001)
  • 3. Commerce is the exchange of items of value between Persons or Companies. Any exchange of money for a product, service or information is considered a deal of Commerce. The Internet and an efficient postal system have made International Commerce convenient for business as well as individuals. Technological - pedagogical knowledge is an understanding of how teaching and learning change when particular technologies are used . This includes knowing the pedagogical affordances and constraints of a range of technological tools and resources as they relate to disciplinarily and developmentally appropriate pedagogical designs and strategies. Developing TPK requires building an understanding of the potential benefits and limitations of particular technologies as they can be
  • 4. applied within particular types of learning activities, as well as the educational contexts within which these technologically supported activities function best. An important aspect of TPK is the creative flexibility with available tools necessary in planning to use them for specific pedagogical purposes . The Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge is a collaboratively developed framework of scholars and researchers seeking to conceptualize and clarify the competencies that evolve from the intersection between technology and pedagogy .
  • 5.  Pedagogical knowledge (PK): Knowledge of nature of teaching and learning, including teaching methods, classroom management, instructional planning, assessment of student learning, etc.  Content knowledge (CK): Knowledge of the subject matter to be taught (e.g., earth science, mathematics, language arts, etc.)  Technology knowledge (TK): Continually changing and evolving knowledge base that includes knowledge of technology for information processing, communications, and problem solving, and focuses on the productive applications of technology in both work and daily life  Pedagogical content knowledge (PCK): Knowledge of the pedagogies, teaching practices, and planning processes that are applicable and appropriate to teaching a given subject matter

Technological content knowledge (TCK): Knowledge of the relationship between subject matter and technology, including knowledge of technology that has influenced and is used in exploring a given content discipline.  Technological pedagogical knowledge (TPK): Knowledge of the influence of technology on teaching and learning as well as the affordances and constraints of technology with regard to pedagogical designs and strategies  Technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPCK): Knowledge of the complex interaction among the principle knowledge domains (content, pedagogy, technology) Most likely, however, Commerce curriculum will eventually absorb e-commerce, just as it has absorbed information systems, globalization, and other “hot” topics in the world of business. Ten years from now, the word "business” will automatically mean digital signatures, online supply chains, electronic payments, and all the other elements of today’s “e-commerce.” For the time being, however, academic
  • 7. needs e-commerce courses to bridge the gap. Since the foundation of studies in this area is higher secondary in commerce, the learners should be updated with the latest changes in technology. For this a teacher should analyse techno-pedagogical aspects. FEW methods of TECHNOLOGY IN COMMERCE CLASSROOMS FOR In the era of dynamic changes in the field of commerce, trade and industry, IT has a pivotal role to play in the education of that discipline. The role of IT in commerce education goes far beyond the direct use of instructional devices. Some of the methods of technology for effective instruction in commerce classrooms (techno-pedagogic analysis in commerce education) are discussed below:-  E-LEARNING  Virtual learning environment (VLE)  Virtual field trip  PEDAGOGY AND E-LEARNING  Internet as a Mass Media  INTERACTIVE CD-ROMS  POWER POINT PRESENTATION  COMPUTERISED ACCOUNTING  Blended Learning.
  • 8. Techno-pedagogic analysis is very much important in a learner centered education system. Now-a- days it is an integral part of curriculum in all teacher education programmes. Techno-pedagogic analysis is a very complex process which is to be done with skill and utmost care. Through the techno-pedagogy we can make the learning experiences vivid and thorough. Techno-pedagogic analysis will be more useful to arts discipline like commerce, as it can dramatically improve the learning performance of students as well as the teaching productivity and effectiveness of teachers.
