Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Unit 8 - Information and Communication Technology (Paper I).pdfThiyagu K
This slides describes the basic concepts of ICT, basics of Email, Emerging Technology and Digital Initiatives in Education. This presentations aligns with the UGC Paper I syllabus.
This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

Message from Dinah Snow
President, ICF Colorado
Hello friends!
This month we have a lot going on; we have a
presentation I am really looking forward to with
Kami Guildner and her topic "The Passion
Inside: Learning to Light Your Next Fire".
And our upcoming fall Dare to THRIVE!
conference is on October 14th (if you haven’t
purchased your ticket, now’s the time as the
number of available seats is shrinking). It’s at
Red Rocks, and it’s going to be a magnificent
interactive experience.
This year, make sure to plan on staying for the
afterglow party with live music on the patio.
And as we move into the fall months, I am calling on ICF Colorado
members to seriously consider being a part of our continued growth. We
will have some openings on the board for new positions, and I’d like to
share with you what I believe are the tangible benefits of joining the ICF
Colorado board.
Professional Development: Service on the Board of Directors can
provide and fine-tune valuable professional development skills such as
public speaking, networking and leadership. Board members are also
exposed to other disciplines that they may not encounter, such as
financial reporting, strategic planning or project management, just to
name a few. Leadership roles also build your coaching skills and
confidence, which telegraph to your clients and potential clients and
positively impact their results.
Contribution: Being on the board and working collectively to advance
the goals of ICF Colorado is an incredibly rewarding way to share your
skills and talents in a way that serves our membership and the
profession of coaching as a whole.

2. Credibility: There is no question that serving on the board, first as
Communications Director, then President-Elect and now President, has
opened doors of opportunity that otherwise would have been closed.
When you are actively involved with your professional organization and
you let people know that, your credibility (and competence) goes up.
As coaches we frequently encourage our clients to stretch themselves,
and now I look to you to do the same for ICF Colorado. So if you have
never considered being on a board, now is a great time.
Greg Aden, our FABULOUS President-Elect, is looking to fill positions on
the board and we are also always looking for new programming ideas
and volunteers who can support the wonderful causes ICF Colorado
supports: Dress for Success and Stand Beside Them.

Please consider how you can help support and grow this chapter and
yourself by getting actively involved.
I look forward to seeing you all this month. Enjoy the fall colors coming

Dare to THRIVE! October 14, 2015 ICF Colorado Fall
Conference
ICF Colorado is all about creating a community of thriving coaches, and
our Fall conference this year is being carefully created to ensure that
every speaker, breakout session and activity contributes to that goal.
We have once again secured the spectacular Red Rocks Conference
Center as the venue, and this year we also have exclusive access to the
Red Rocks Grill for the event, so meeting rooms will be exclusively for
sessions.
Last year’s conference sold out, and based on the success of that event,
we have been able to attract even more top talent to educate, motivate
and inspire our community!

Membership in the ICF Colorado: New Member Sponsors Needed
We now have 9 persons serving as New Member Sponsors, but have new members waiting for a
sponsor. Your help is needed!
As the Membership Director, it is my hope that new members are welcomed into our Chapter and
quickly find a home in our "family." To ensure this happening well, we are starting an experiment
called New Member Sponsors. A new member sponsor is someone who has been in the Chapter for
perhaps a year or more who will help welcome a new member and make sure they become integrated
into the life of the Chapter. For the first few months, the sponsor will befriend the new member,
become acquainted, introduce him or her to others in the Chapter, explain the various benefits and
programs of the Chapter, and perhaps have coffee or lunch with the person.
If you have been a member of our Chapter for a year or more, please consider becoming a New
Member Sponsor. It is a four-month commitment to make friends with someone and ensure that they
become actively involved in the Chapter. You will be provided with some orientation and suggestions
on how to best sponsor someone. Please contact Walt Hastings to express your interest in welcoming
new members. Call Walt at 303-526-9490 or e-mail him at walthastings@hotmail.com.
