We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

Time: 6:00PM - 9:00PM
Speaker: Brian Miller
Topic: "Behavioral Patterns: At Work and Home"
Special Interest Groups (SIGs) will be conducted from 6:00PM - 6:50PM
before the general meeting.
Location:
PPA Event Center, 2105 Decatur Street, Denver, CO 80211

The power of paradigms, stories or perspectives can be brought into
every business and family home. Experience creates a “Story” based on
the meaning attached and in turn, a “Story” creates a reaction and
eventually the end result. Learning how a “Story” can determine
perception and judgement is one key element to creating powerful
relationships that go beyond the surface level. It gives people an
opportunity to learn and grow together, provided leaders are well
trained in behavioral patterns and “Stories” that are essentially hidden
fears running.
About Our Speaker, Brian Miller:
His one of a kind lasting impression with people in business, personal
relationships and prison reform continue producing extraordinary
results. All attest to Brian’s unique style of facilitating awareness,
leadership and organizational transformations. He is dedicated to
helping humanity by identifying personal belief systems, sharpening
talents and building a high trust culture based on truth and compassion.
Brian’s approach is to customize each of the IAM seminars by focusing
on the needs of the organization or participants. Based on results of
students Brian has personally facilitated, he consistently compresses
months of training and development into high impact seminars. Brian
brings over 25 years of experience and facilitation into the seminar
room. He empowers people to build fulfilling personal lives,
communities and organizations that support a world in creating value,
purpose and profitable results. Brian believes the world problems can
only be solved together, requiring innovative leadership that partners
government, business and non-profit organizations to produce healthy
communities, economies and nations. He creates visionary solutions to
problems that touch every realm of society — supporting people with
learning self-leadership and taking this one concept into a world of
serving a higher purpose through contribution: a mindset of abundance
on all levels.
6. Brian is the inventor of fifty-two inventions ranging from games and
toys to convenience items. In addition, he sailed for over eight years
while studying and experiencing the philosophy presented in the IAM
program. Brian believes, “A decision based on perception is no more
than a speculation. A decision based on fact is no more than a
calculated risk. A decision based on truth is made only by great leaders
of integrity, commitment and honor.” Brian lives with his wife, Karen, in
Southern Oregon and they are currently writing books based on the
philosophy and concepts, while facilitating in the classroom

Membership in the ICF Colorado: New Member Sponsors Needed
We now have 9 persons serving as New Member Sponsors, but have 6 new members waiting for a
sponsor. Your help is needed!
As the Membership Director, it is my hope that new members are welcomed into our Chapter and
quickly find a home in our "family." To ensure this happening well, we are starting an experiment
called New Member Sponsors. A new member sponsor is someone who has been in the Chapter for
perhaps a year or more who will help welcome a new member and make sure they become integrated
into the life of the Chapter. For the first few months, the sponsor will befriend the new member,
become acquainted, introduce him or her to others in the Chapter, explain the various benefits and
programs of the Chapter, and perhaps have coffee or lunch with the person.
If you have been a member of our Chapter for a year or more, please consider becoming a New
Member Sponsor. It is a four-month commitment to make friends with someone and ensure that they
become actively involved in the Chapter. You will be provided with some orientation and suggestions
on how to best sponsor someone. Please contact Walt Hastings to express your interest in welcoming
new members. Call Walt at 303-526-9490 or e-mail him at walthastings@hotmail.com.
