This document summarizes O2 treated tuna that has been quick frozen from Maguro International. The tuna is treated with O2 to retain its natural color and is free of chemicals. It can be stored in regular freezers for up to 7 days and takes 4-6 hours to fully thaw in the refrigerator while retaining its quality, taste, and texture similar to fresh tuna. The facility that treats and freezes the tuna in the Philippines is HACCP certified.
