This document introduces the Case Management Framework (CMF), which provides common objects, functionalities, and services for managing insurance claims, government questions/answers, and contracts. The CMF includes mailboxes, cases, case items, distribution services, and content routing. It allows users to define processes for routing documents between mailboxes and through automation chains. The CMF leverages mature functionality from Nuxeo and is configurable through Nuxeo Studio. Future plans include aligning CMF 2.0 with Nuxeo 5.4 and adding Tomcat distribution and improved content routing.
