What do they eat? Bats Different bats eat different things. Many bats eat fruit and seeds. Others eat insects, fish, frogs & small animals. Owls Like all birds, owls don’t have teeth. They swallow mice and other small animals without chewing.  Badgers Worms are badgers main natural food. They like Nuts and berries. They eat roots. They even eat Slugs.  Foxes In rural areas they might eat rabbits. In towns and cities foxes eat anything from bread to meat bones and small birds
badgers   Badgers live in a groups of 14 Adults They eat earthworms, Grubs and insects At winter Badgers eat more earthworms then they eat at autumn.
bats Bats are the only flying mammals  The Bats has one baby a year They are 1000’s of different bats The place where a bat sleeps is called its "roost“. Bats hang upside down from their roosts when they sleep.
owls Owls cannot chew their prey because they do not have teeth. Instead, they swallow small prey whole. Owls' eyes are fixed in their sockets so they turn their heads right round to see. There are about 205 species of owls. Owls are farsighted and can not see thing very close to their eyes.
Foxes The fox generally consumes around 1 kg of food every day. They live for about 2-3 years. Female fox give birth to 4-5 young ones once in a spring season
