RATIONALE
The National Learning Camp Assessment (NLCA)
will be administered to all Grades 7 to 10 learners for
School Year 2023- 2024 in all public schools across
country.

The assessment tool intends to determine the
effectiveness of the learning camp intervention on
the learning proficiencies of participating learners
before and after attending the said program.
6. OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the virtual orientation are the following:
1. To orient field testing personnel on how to administer the
online computer-based test to currently enrolled Grades 7 to
10 learners for school year 2023-2024 in all public
schools across the country using the Moodle platform; and
2. To ensure the readiness of schools in conducting the
computer-based assessment.

11. TEST ADMINISTRATION PROCEDURE
● See to it that the seats are arranged properly, with provision of
sturdy barriers in between computer units to prevent any
attempt on their part to communicate with each other, the
date and time in the computer units are correct.
● Ensure that the learners already have activated and
accessed their DepEd Microsoft Accounts.
● Ensure that Moodle platform is already running using the
Safe Exam Browser before the students go to their
respective seats.
12. TEST ADMINISTRATION PROCEDURE
● Learners should be advised to put their cellphones and
other electronic devices inside their bags and place these
belongings in the holding area.
● Water tumbler is allowed in the testing room, but be extra
careful.
● Cellphones, calculators, smart watches, and other forms of
electronic devices shall not be allowed during the test.
● Make sure all the learners have/know their log-in
credentials.
● Other procedures will be discussed by test administrator
during the test proper.
13. Breach of Security in National Examinations
and Corresponding Sanctions
(Section 13of the DepEd Order No. 55, s. 2016)

9. Opening the test materials prior to testing schedule

11. Tampering of examinees’ answer sheets
Infringement of copyright
Allowing impostors and substitute examinees
Misrepresentation with regard to age, residence, and status
