- 1. Pitch for a Niche Show
- 2. Making the Choice of Niche over Mainstream Show I initially had a choice of producing a Niche Show, which would feature a late night show with niche genres of music, or producing a Mainstream Show which would be an early morning show with mainstream genres of music. To choose, I decided to see which audience I was much more comfortable with and which audience I would find easier to appeal to. To do this there needed to be a balance between good and bad so I looked at these points; would I rather go with a show where the audience consisted of people who were roughly my age with similar tastes, or appeal to a completely opposite group of people which I don’t know how to appeal. In the end, I chose to go with a Niche show because I find it to be much easier to find a common ground and appeal to this audience, since I would fit into the group that I am appealing to.
